This was my first experience boarding my dog & everything went better than I ever thought it could! I love that Free Dog posts daily pictures of all the dogs so I get to have a little glimpse into my fur babies days while we're apart. It was also incredible to see that my dog needed no adjustment period when coming home. He acted like we never left which made me feel good to know he was so well taken care of. We have used their service in the past and have been very impressed with the quality and care that was provided to both our dogs. We are getting ready to go on vacation and called to verify that we were all set, only to be told that our reservation had been given to someone else. So now we have to scramble to find another option. My wife called many times to verify that we good to go. I have promoted their service and always spoke very highly of them. This is the worst customer service as we called them numerous times just to make sure that all was good. read more

I filled out an application 6 years ago so my then 6 week puppy could go to day care he is a huskita, husky Akita mix. I called numerous times because I thought maybe my application got lost. Nope I was told very harshly that I would get a call when they could assess him with other dogs. I believe it is the Akita that is getting him turned away because i see other husky at the day care. Obviously the time I needed him To be socialized has past (we have been going elsewhere, and my boy is great with other dogs) but to not even assess him, unpleasant to say the least. read more

My 10 month old puppy recently started Free Dog daycare and does a day at each location and absolutely LOVES it! As soon as I tell her it's daycare day she loses her mind with excitement! Cindy and Jen are extremely knowledgable and love all the pups and treat them like their own. I am so grateful to have found such a wonderful daycare for my dog. They offer a variety of services and take the time to answer any and all questions. They have a great staff and I know my pup is in good hands while I'm at work. I have been boarding my two dogs and taking them to weekly daycare at Free Dog for years. My dogs know where they are going on Fridays, and Friday is the best day of the week for them! When I board them at Free Dog, I know that they are in the best hands possible. They always come home happy and tired. Free dog didn't even meet my dog to see how his temperament was. They said quote"your dog is a Staffordshire bull terrier after 18 months they are the way they are" 1st of all they have no idea about the breed or dogs for that matter after that quote. My dog gets along with and plays well with others very socialized . How can you discriminate against a breed of dog that you literally know nothing about. So if you have a dog that looks like a pitbull or has any pit mix definitely don't go to this place they won't accept it for daycare because they are ignorant. read more

I';ve had dogs nails trimmed there but for me, their strength is their dog walking service, i have a fluctuating schedule semester to semester, requiring me to be on campus, Free dog has walked my dogs, given them mid day enrichment, and i come home to happy dogs.. they all LOVE our dog walker... she alternates who is the 2 and the 1 (3 dogs), gives them fresh water, and so many pats and hugs... and sends pictures, which relaxes my mind when i'm stuck at school.. can i give y'all 6 stars?? read more

I have a very skittish dog and was completely comfortable boarding her, for the first time, at Free Dog. Jen (an owner) is extremely knowledgeable about dogs and when I came in for our initial interview, I could see she knew just how to work with Lexy. Lexy is afraid of everyone and does not like to be approached, which bothers anyone who considers themselves a "dog person." In fact a friend recently told us that if it were his dog, he would have gotten rid of her a long time ago. Lexy is a really good dog...if you're us. If you're not us, you only see a dog who prefers you weren't there. Jen knew just how to act around Lexy and explained a lot of little tid bits to me. I got a tour of the facility, which is gorgeous, and Lexy got to roam around and sniff it out. There is a large deck that the dogs can play on, and lots of space in the boarding kennels with outside access all day. They don't just throw your dog in with all the other dogs to play--they pair them up with similar personalities. For day care, they actually create packs. They offer all kinds of services--They'll even come to your house to take care of your pets during the day. When you board, the facility is staffed over night. They post their pictures on their facebook website so you can see all the fun they're having! By the time I picked up Lexy from her first visit at Free Dog, she was letting Jen pat her, which is a HUGE step forward for her. We couldn't believe our eyes. We are thrilled to have found Free Dog and won't send her anywhere else from now on. read more
