Sadly disappointed with my sub. I remember coming here a few years ago and loving it. Not sure what happened in between then. The employee said they just made the wheat so I decided to go with that. I ended up not liking it. It didn't help that they barely put any ingredients in the sub. I could only taste bread, alfalfa sprouts and bell peppers. I opened the sub to see if they had put any avocado in it and it was the smallest layer and only on a small portion. I would think it would be layered through out. Blandest sub ever. I had a better sub at Port of Subs (avocado and 3 cheese). Their mac salad wasn't as good as I remembered it either. It was also freezing inside. read more

This place is great! This sub shop slow roasts fresh beef themselves! I enjoy when restaurants fresh cook their meats on site and really like fresh produce being served at restaurants. I ordered the pot roast sub and they delivered on content, quality, quantity and especially taste! The deli meats are purchased, then sliced at the sub shop. We have tried the pot roast sub and the Sicilian sub. The pot roast was remarkable but the Sicilian did not hit that mark. It was good though! I purchased a chocolate chip, macadamia cookie which was delicious. It was so fresh! I asked if the cookies were made in house and they said, "Yes!" The cookies are a must buy for a sweet treat! Look past the employee to the back wall and you will see an 8 1/2 by 11" piece of paper taped to the wall. It has the special of the day!! Great deal, however I did not see it till I paid. One more thing, ask for a punch card. They do not mention them, but I found out from the customer ahead of me in line. I had to ask for it, it was not offered. Catered an event at the local hospital and these guys were THE BEST. I ordered on-line the night before. First thing in the AM, I get a call to suggest a better combination of subs. Communication like that is very important to the person feeding 12 people! The delivery was early, which is always appreciated. That gave me time to try the sub before my guests arrived... and it is delicious !! Ben was a courteous and friendly delivery guy who was obviously interested in providing the best service. My eyebrows were raised when one of the owners got into a shouting match with a customer who had been waiting 30+ minutes for a sandwich, and then continued the loud argument with his mother (I assume) behind the counter while the rest of us awkwardly waited for our orders. I placed an order at Red Rock Subs at 11:15 for delivery. The lady took my information and said I would have to wait until 12:15. I said fine. At 12:55 I called to check on my order. The man thy answered found my order and said there was no delivery of French bread. I asked him.. ok..what other kind of bread do you have ? He replied back sourdough. I said that sounds good. What time will it be delivered? He said hopefully before 1:30. I replied back, "Hopefully? I've been waiting for 2 hours. Never mind just forget it" He said ,"ok! That's what I was waiting for." I was being kind and professional not an angry, rude customer. NEVER, EVER will I order from here again! They need to restaff and or rehire someone with some customer service skills. Gotta say wow. . . My wife had just given birth down the street at the Providence Women's Pavilion. Pregnant women have a laundry list they cannot do and things they cannot eat. One of which in particular that my wife missed, was deli meat. So after our son was born, I took to online to find the meanest, baddest, juiciest deli subs I could find in the area. And I came across these nice folks. It was a bit of a surprise because I had traveled up and down Broadway in Everett several times and never once knew there was a reputable sub shop on the main strip. To be fair, it is hidden very well along the many businesses and has a pretty small parking lot that takes some good assertive defensive driving skills to get in and out of it. In the end though, it was worth it. I got my wife their deluxe sandwich with all the fixings while I got the big boy that was as close to a Cubano as I could get. And man, those things pack some weight and lasted us. We were glad we had the communal fridge for the maternity ward, because it took us a few sittings to get through them. Delicious, filling, and well worth the gut bomb a good sub gives you after the fact. Red Rock Subs should feel pretty happy that I chose them for the honor of my wife's first sandwich after birth. Because she will now put that thing up on a pedestal that few subs will ever reach. Like a man who has been stuck out in the desert for however long cherishes that first glass of cold water, my wife found great joy in feasting on something so amazing after she had been deprived of it so long. I finally stopped at Red Rocks, I was not disappointed. Yes the parking is not the best, try around the back or on a side street. Clean, friendly and attentive. Great choices, fair prices , quick service. I know better than to go to a lunch place at lunchtime! You may have to wait , delivery order you may have to wait. Oh well! I had the 6" Ruben, wow it was awesome and very affordable.. As my next stop was I-5SB, I grabbed a bottle of H2O, I know more plastic, and headed out the door. The bread was nice and toasty crisp. 1000 island had a bit of a zing to it, garlic aioli added even more. Oh did I say I got out for under 10 bucks with a tip.. I trust you will give this place a try for lunch and enjoy it very much. Don't complain about the parking, enjoy the bite your about to take! In my book 4.5 stars read more

I got the #1 which you would think would be the best thing on the menu. it's bland as hell. flavorless. the parking could be the worst of any company I've ever visited. they have 3 spots. all of which require you to back out onto a very busy road. took me 8 minutes to back out. sub was already cold by the time I got home just from the time it took to get out of the awful parking space. service is 1 star awful. i was standing inline looking at the cashier. phone rings, she answers and spends 5 minutes taking an order. they must have no idea how to sell anything, because it took the old people in front of me over 10 minutes to order. overall I spent close to 30 minutes to get a cold flavorless sub. i'll never go back. read more

We've been coming here for years, and have always enjoyed anything we've ordered. It's been a little while since we stopped in, and our most recent visit is nothing like anything we've had before. Right off the bat- the bread was dry and stale. The one thing we loved the most about Red Rock was the fresh, local bread. This bread was terrible. Our sandwiches (a Reuben and a pot roast) were meh, pretty average. The pot roast sub used to be AMAZING, and honestly, this was probably the most disappointing sub I've ever had. We tried Red Rock subs because my husband's coworkers raved about it. The subs were good, I just thought they they were not at all worth the price for a sub. They were pretty basic and not super full with toppings, especially for the price. They had a great selection of unique soda flavors, which was what we liked about Red Rock. Parking was brutal, and service was "meh." I definitely would rather get a sub at Major League or even Acropolis. Just not worth the money. read more

I didn't realize though that ALL the subs come toasted ( I ordered in-store and I don't believe the store menu mentions this, although I see it does if you order online ), and that's just not how I like my subs because the veggies get wilted and the sauces get weird. I've ordered from this place while at work, it was pretty good, came in on a Tuesday to try it out in person, we ordered very nice people. Order came to around $52 for 1 drink which was refillable, a chip and 2 large sandwiches. We had a few alterations to the order, add one thing take tomatoes off, it was printed on the receipts and the $20 sandwich was covered in tomatoes. I mean for a nice place like that and for some expensive food , you'd think things would be made correctly. I brought someone to try it and they had to pull tomato after tomato off their sandwich. One of the few places that offer Stubborn Soda, both bottled and fountain. Soups are killer too. Super friendly staff, too. Glassed in outdoor patio to block traffic sounds from Broadway. The food is awesome but I will have to say the employees are the best! I just had surgery and hadn't ate in 20+ hours. I called an order in and even though I didn't meet the delivery requirements the driver said he would do it anyway. I got my sandwich so fast and ate it that fast too! I first went here and told them I didn't need one of their sandwich cards because this would probably be the only time I would be here. Boy was I wrong! These subs rock for sure. This is a very popular place. From the second they open they seem very busy but regardless it's still a pretty fast experience. I always get The teriyaki sub on a French bun, a regular size always fills me up and I can eat a lot The downside to this Place is the location. Very small parking lot along a very busy road. Also, the establishment has an exhaust issue so it gets pretty Smokey in the seating area. None of this would affect me coming back time and time again. Oh and their sweet treats are awesome too.
