They feed high quality hay and make sure the horses have water morning and evening and always check on the horses throughout the day. The arenas are spacious and safe for riding or just turning out. Having young horses that need ground work done, the round pen is perfect size! I would definitely recommend Long Ears Long Walk to a friend or anyone that needs to board. I have also been able to park our horse trailer and a 34' flatbed trailer (for an additional charge) but totally worth it, this facility is well watched and gated.

You really feel like you are coming home when you step onto the property. Since moving my girl in, I have noticed that she is so calm and relaxed, and has honestly never been happier. There are many areas to ride, but my favorite remains the indoor arena. I look forward to being out of the cold and nasty weather this winter. The owners are very friendly and always ready to answer any questions you may have.  After Whisper's first night at the ranch, I received a message from the owners the following morning to let me know that she had settled in well. That alone proved to me that I had made the right decision by boarding at Corkscrew, as they care for my girl as much as I do.  Corkscrew also has 3 resident dogs that are total love bugs, so beware, you will want to take the cuties home with you.  I highly recommend anyone reading this to come out and see for yourself what a great place Corkscrew Ranch is! Update: I boarded here until recently and I am so happy I was able to. This is a truly amazing facility and Lowell and Shannon are amazing people with hearts of gold. When my horse got colic, these two had treated her like she was one of thier own. It took a few hours to get ahold of me, and in that time, they walked her for countless miles to help her condition. I could not be more thankful for these people or this ranch!

I drove 45 miles to go to this place but as I reached the stable the gates were closed and they were people out there and no one opened the gate I called several times and just to answering machine. I left and no one called me back. I waited outside for 30 minutes but no answer. My daughter was really upset and we left. If you are not open for business please DONT advertise as open. Keep your door and business closed. Waste of time .

All of the horses are well fed and taken care of with grooms and stable hands around the property. They don't have an indoor arena but when the weather is bad or arena is too muddy, they haul in to other facilities. The hospitality makes up for that! I cannot express how much I recommend and trust Critter Keepers. I have boarded my newly adopted…read more(and timid) 7 month old dog with them two times in the past month and when I go to pick him up, I can't tell if he wants to go home with me or stay longer with his friends. My furry baby loves it! I am also pleased that all dogs must be fully vaccinated before Critter Keepers will take them. And honestly, through the years I've boarded my dogs at various places in two states and have never been happy with any of them. Long story short, if I couldn't board my pup at Critter Keepers, I'm cancelling my trip. Great place!
