Definitely the best training here locally. Mike and Shirley are very good with any breed of dog…read more Shirley and Mike are very qualified. They both have that ability to get dogs to listen to them and it makes it that much easier to train. We currently have our boy Havoc in his third training course and it has made such a difference. Especially since he is a big stubborn Rottweiler. He just loves and enjoys the class.

First things first, I want to say that Jackie definitely seems to know what she's doing. She…read morehandles everything positively, and never forgets to reward the dogs when they deserve it. When leaving your dog at the kennel, she will let them play with others that she feels your dog would be compatible with, and even lets them play on her agility course. I couldn't have been happier with having my dog stay there. That said, she isn't the greatest at people skills. Every time I have met with her, she focuses on pointing out the flaws of the owner. It makes sense, since we are the ones who raise our dogs and teach them what/what not to do. She seems to have little care for the owners. She always told us we were wrong, even when we would do what seemed right. She won't let you call your dog's name (since it will just wear out the effect), and she absolutely will not let you say no to your dog. While I love positivity, I think that sometimes you need to scold your dog for them to listen. Ultimately, it's up to you. She has been in the business for years, and knows how to train dogs very well. Like I said, it's her people skills that need help.

She was very professional, very upfront about all of her services, and asked all the right questions about what my dog might need and how I wanted things handled. We decided on her visiting twice a day while I was gone. She was great about texting me updates and sending pictures. In fact, one of the pictures she sent may be my favorite picture of Jake I have! I will definitely be using her services again!

If your dog could write a review, they'd give Donner Dogs six paws up!…read more Madi at Donner Dogs in Truckee is basically a dog whisperer, adventure guide, and cuddle expert all in one. She treats every pup like her own, which is saying something, because my dog is literally soooo spoiled. Madi's got it covered. Want to make sure your pup gets more attention than you do at home? Also covered. Honestly, I'm pretty sure some dogs leave her care wondering if they can trade humans. Angel Pet Sitting is absolutely fantastic! Tina & Tony are the husband & wife team that run Angel…read more I have used them at least 6 times in the last year and have never been disappointed. They have taken care of my dogs for a couple of days at a time to weeks at a time. Two of those times were emergency vists because I was unexpectantly admitted to the hospital. They were there for me & my 3 dogs with no questions asked. I am currently on a trip that was to last 5 weeks. But I have had to extend my trip an additional 4 weeks. No problem with tony & Tina. Angel also house sits for me. They get my mail, water my indoor plants & flower pots outside, take out the trash, sweep floors & clean up the yard. Tony even cut my lawn when i was gone for 2 weeks last year. He thought my grass was getting too tall so he grabbed my lawnmower & away he went. They also spend time walking my dogs which they don't need to do because I have a huge fenced in back yard & a doggie door. Each one of my dogs has minor special needs. This is also no issue for Angel. My dogs get brushed more when i am away than when i am home. Tina & Tony go the extra mile & spend "quality" time with your pets. I also leave some cash & a signed check in case the dogs need something while I am gone. Dog treats, vet visits, extended stays on my part, whatever. Angel is good to me & my dogs so I do what I can to make their job smooth. And I have never had to worry that this extra money will be used on anything other than my dogs. Angel does not just take care of your pets. They become friends with your animals & create individual bonds. My dogs absolutely just love Tina & Tony & so do I. It is a wonderful feeling knowing that my dog family & my home will be well taken care of when I am away. Thumbs up, 5 stars, high five, 100% perfect to Angel Pet Sitting. I am extremely happy with their service & recommend them to everyone. Thank you Tina & Tony!
