Groom wasn't finished until 7pm and when my husband brought her home she had a different collar on. We had a collar with an AirTag on it and never got it back because we were visiting 40 minutes away, it was late and the next morning we were leaving town early so I couldn't drive 40 min and back (opposite direction). I hate to leave this but if people need more practice/ sleep / organizational skills for things like this to not happen... the 3 stars are for how friendly, apologetic the groomer was and tried to work on getting the collar back but we just couldn't wait. She also worked with my dog with some behavioral problems she's recently development (boarding gone wrong) at 5 years old but I Just spent $10 for new collar, $15 for new name tag, $32 for new AirTag and another $10 for the dog collar case for AirTag. Check your dogs! And hopefully you live closer so your dog doesn't wait 3 hours before her groom.

Joanie, Monty and staff are always nice to me, always loving to my dogs. I often visit the Chester store when I visit Lake Almanor to pick up a new toy for my dog. I haven't bought a toy from anywhere else in quite a while. Zeke's current favorite is the squeaky snake, squeakers all up and down the body, and it's lasted a long time. They have a nice selection of quality dog food, a wide variety of toys, and plenty of treats. It's worth the stop to explore, enjoy, and pick something up. My favorite part is taking in my dog, where he gets a yummy treat and some love while I shop. He won't even eat those dried out biscuits they sometimes give at the big-box pet shops, my picky boy. He's never had that problem at Treats! They occasionally have people-treats, too!

Well this place fills the bill perfectly. Lots of specialty products. And the inhouse groomer is very good. Really! Our dog is frightened of new people. The staff here are pretty close to magic: my moody, intermittently aggressive tomcat is angelic…read morewhen they handle him, while my brand new super cuddly kitten thinks going here is like a playdate. They have an ever-changing array of newly groomed dogs underfoot in the front area where they work; they keep them and their own dogs around for companionship while they are working and, miraculously, all the animals get along. Each of the animals look movie-star perfect when they're done, the haircuts are adorable. When I first moved to Chico my older black cat was dealing with a skin condition that made her lose her fur in chunks (now finally, after five years, healed.) They treated this beat up looking sweetheart with all the care and regard of the beautiful healthy animals and it meant a great deal to our family to see her being cherished. But what I want to share most is that during the Camp Fire, All Cats and Dogs have taken in pets of fire evacuees and groomed them for free. Owner Alex says "In many cases, the fire evacuees left with only their pets and lost everything. I figure that giving them back a clean fluffy dog to hold is the least I can do."
