I ended up getting a Christmas gift for a friend and said no to a dress that I'm now regretting. You have to stop in to see all the amazing things she has! Shopping local is the best way to shop! Such a cute little boutique!! Lots of cute jewelry, fun kitchen decor, and adorable clothing!! A little pricey for my liking, but pretty typical for boutique pricing. Beware the jewelry! :-(( The jewelry being sold as "silver" isn't ... it's either a base metal or an inferior quality tin silver. I recently bought a beautiful pair of hammered silver drop earrings, one of which turned bright pink when polished with standard silver polish. Store owner/management was completely unresponsive in spite of my several phone calls asking for refund or replacement pair. Finally had to go back to Visa for a refund. Poor merchandising ethics and unprofessional management. read more

I love this store! I was visiting St. Augustine and stumbled upon this store. They opened not too long and have the cutest clothes in there. I walked out with a most adorable white ruffled tank top which I have received so many compliments on( top at 3:49 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gqzbZw8JsIQ) . The cashier told me that the owner travels around the east coast (Atlanta) to select best clothes to sell at the store. It's a cross between a young vintage Ann Taylor boutique, preppy Forever 21 and Free People style. I look forward to visiting St. Augustine to hit up this store. read more

I was very surprised to see a store like this on St George Street! I typically only walk St George Street for the atmosphere and people watching. Most of the stores are touristy or over priced, and not worth walking into. Red Pineapple is definitely an exception! The jewelry is beautiful and reasonably priced, and so is the clothing. I went in to the store close to closing hoping to find a gift for my mom. I was so lost, but the young lady that works there Shauntel was such a big help. She walked through the store with me asking me questions to get a better idea of what my mom would like, she was very patient with me and kept a smile on her face the entire time. She wasn't just trying to make a sale, she was genuinely interested in helping me place a smile on my mom's face Christmas morning! I absolutely love this store - it is a gem of a find in downtown St Augustine with good quality, unique fashions with a twist on a vintage-era look. It's managed to perfectly combine a look that is sexy, classy, flirty and funky all in one. The store also has jewelry, gifts, and small furnishings. This has to be my favorite store in St. Augustine. I wish that St. George Street had more stores like this among all of the Tourist traps. Cute shop, but the manager of this place is very unprofessional. I purchased a dress almost two weeks ago and returned it the very next day because it was too big. When I got to the store to return it the staff member said she was unable to do refunds and I needed to come back on Tuesday (this was a Sunday) I informed the girl I was not local and it was my last day there. She proceeded to do the refund anyway (clearly the first time she had done a refund Bc she was literally reading steps out of a book) then said it will go back on the card in 3-5 business days. I know it could be more than 3-5 business days, but I just wanted to make sure the staff member who did the refund did it correctly since there was no one there to assist her. So on the sixth day, I call and ask to speak to the manager because I still wasn't credited back the money and was told to call back after 12. I did, and when I explained who I was the manager rudely interrupted me and said she knew who I was and they have done everything they could do for me and I needed to contact my bank. Still no refund to this day! I've worked in customer service several years and I'd like to leave some advice .... Customer satisfaction and experience should be your NUMBER ONE priority as a business owner, manager, or employee because guess what??? Without customers you have NO business!! read more

This place is very well placed and has a very pretty and unique touch to it. I love the clothes but the prices are ridiculous. I love the vintage style but I'm not paying 75 dollars for a shirt or lace cardigan. There were many other shops and my least favorite was this one. They don't have many sizes either. read more

I love, love, love this store!! I live about 40 minutes away, and actually make plans to visit St. Augustine just so I can drop by the Red Pineapple. It's the type of store where the only reason I hesitate to buy something, is because I don't want to miss out on something even better by not browsing some more. lol The price is right where you walk out with 1 or 2 things, and feel like you've treated yourself without being over-extravagant. read more

This store has cute merchandise but lousy customer service. I spent $200-$300 on Christmas gifts in this store and tried to exchange one item that I decided was not right for the person, and they would not let me do it because it was after 14 days. I purchased the item December 22 and tried to exchange it January 12.The item which I wanted to exchange (a hat) was in perfect condition and still had the price tag on it- which was $20. I did not want a refund. I was simply trying to exchange it for something I thought was more suited for the person. They had other hats identical to it on the shelves, so it isn't as if they no longer carried the item. I try to support local businesses, but I will not return to this one. If you buy something here, you better make sure you love it, because you won't be bringing it back or exchanging it. read more

I love this shop. It it quaint, beautiful and I want to buy just about everything that I see in there. It is the perfect shop for anyone who likes anything earthy or whimsical. It definitely reminds me of Anthropologie but in a much better way because you are buying something from a small store, not a large chain. They only downside of buying from a small specialty store is that sometimes the prices are a bit higher. I think it is worth it though. Definitely check out their candles as well. I don't know where they come from but they are the most wonderfully fragrant soy candles ever. I burn the lemon cookie in my house almost every day. read more

I saw a dress that I liked but there were some problems with how the pockets were sewn. When I asked about a discount or if they would speak to the owner, I was told they would call me but I never received a call. I had to go into the store twice to get an answer about the dress. I didn't feel they were very professional or that they cared that I was interested in purchasing the dress at all. The store has a lot of nice pieces but not impressed with the service. read more

Beautiful shop BUT unfortunately the day we visited one of the employees was obviously not enjoying her day. She was extremely and obviously rude and made no qualms about it. This was on July 19, 2012. She was a young brunette. I hope this young lady wasn't the owner or related to the owner because she was being an extremely poor representation of the store. I've visited this store twice. The first time, my friend and I went in with sodas in hand. Even though we are both way past 40 years old, and there was not a single customer in the store, the very young wirey sales girl came rushing over to reprimand us for bring in a beverage, then proceeded to hold her hand out so we could give them to her to keep at the counter. On our second trip (with the same Friend), the same girl was in there working, along with 2 older woman, one of whom we found out was the owner. One of the women walked by my friend's daughter and knocked into her, without a word. My friend said "Excuse me". At that point we exited the store, but not before the owner and 2 employees had a bi*ch session about us (their customers), right in front of us. The employees at this store are so rude, I will never be back again!! There are way too many other nice stores in St Aug where the salespeople are gracious to their customers. read more
