Only our second or third venture into this wonderful eatery. We've been eating at other RO locations in the area over the years and it's always been solid. I'm guessing the building is relatively new. Very clean and presentable. One reason it's packed at meal time. The parking lot is a bit small for the businesses that reside here. Which is the only other dinner challenge. The waitstaff is tremendous. From late teens to older servers, a great experience is guaranteed. The menu items are all tasty. I was glad to see a new casual sit-down restaurant come to the area; I like Leo's, but I'm tiring of it. I finally went to Red Olive today. The restaurant is a brand-new construction, in the space where an Italian restaurant had stood. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Both the host and the server were just constantly smiling, and it felt genuine. The vibe they gave off was that they were truly happy to be there I knew what I was in the mood for, so I was happy to see it on the menu: a gyro sandwich and Greek salad combination. I thought it would be a small salad, like Olga's does, but no, it was full-size. And the gyro was stuffed with meat. After finishing the salad, I could only eat about half of the sandwich, so I took the rest home. The server (I didn't get her name) asked if I wanted a refill on my iced tea -- and then, she asked if I wanted it to go, which was perfect. And she saw the coupon I had with me & she automatically took off the 15% from my bill. I don't think many people know this restaurant is here or open, though; I was there around 2:00 on a Thursday, and there were only other tables occupied, and they were finishing up, leaving me alone for a little while. A small group did come in as I was leaving, and I did see a couple people pick up carry-out orders. I will definitely be coming back here; I am in this area a lot. What a welcome addition to my local area. We could use more reasonably priced restaurants with good service for a casual lunch or dinner -- that are a step above a Coney Island. The restaurant is new, built from the ground up. The inside was clean and neat though it does lack charm. The menu was fairly vast - from salads to soups to sandwiches and entrees. My husband had a chicken dish that came with a vegetable and rice and a big bowl of soup. I ordered the small Greek salad with gyro. It was huge! It had a good variety of add in (beets, olives, feta, chick peas, peppers, cucumbers and tomatoes. Everything tasted fairly fresh and the dressing was good as well. My husband picked on it once I was full and we still have leftovers. Prices were fair. And I rarely say that these days. Our server, Joseph, was very attentive and constantly checking to see if we needed anything. He was extremely polite as well. Definitely expect to make this a place in my rotation as it is close by and a solid meal. read more

We've visited here several times for carryout. We typically get the Chicken Greek Salads, the Pete's Chopped Salad (comes with dill weed chopped and mixed in) and the chicken tenders. We've also tried the chicken gyro, but they have several good looking items on the menu - we just get stuck in our ways. The staff is always friendly, smiling and greeting us as we approach the check in desk. The ambiance is fine. Mostly booths and some tables in a neutral style with lots of natural light from the wall of windows on the west side of the bldg. The place is usually half full of customers dining in when we go. We love Red Olive! We go several times per week and have had breakfast, lunch and dinner there. It is outstanding and has not disappointed us so far. It's brand new inside and not overly noisy. We have tried several breakfast dishes, and the omelettes and hash browns are exceptional. Waffle this morning was crispy and delicious. Seems like they use real butter because we don't have that nasty aftertaste from the bad oils that some places use on the grill. Their soups are amazing and home made. The green beans with tomatoes taste like my grandma used to make. My personal favorite is the chicken kebab - tender deliciously spiced chicken pieces. Their salads are served cold and crunchy. Gyros are also excellent. This place will (and should) put Leo's out of business! We have even carried it out to serve a larger group at home, and it was fantastic. I have to say that we tried another Red Olive on the east side and it did not compare. I'm happy this one is near me, as we go several times a week. I ordered for the first time via door dash and was very disappointed in the food. I ordered 3 varied corned beef sandwiches that were just awful! The meat was nothing more than deli-type. It was over-cooked and tough. Who does that? The rye bread was burnt and didnt even taste like rye. And where was the stacked meat? And the fries were salty! I spent nearly $50 and the sandwiches were awful! Nothing about my first experience with Red Olive was satisfying. I will not be returning to the scene of the crime. read more

Great service but bland food. This restaurant is nothing but an expensive Coney Island restaurant. There is nothing unique about the food here. The gyro was bland and the burger had frozen patty. Unfortunately, I was expecting this food to be homemade. A lot of the food was frozen prepackaged Sysco items. read more

Red Olive never disappoints! Love everything we've tried on the menu so far. The restaurant is always clean and is designed with a really nice flow.
