Overall had a great dinner at Levantine Grill! We went for an early Mother's Day dinner and our waitress still gave us the free dessert which was super nice of her. The seating area looked nice and clean too. The food was good - I got the chicken shish kafta which was soft. Just needed some hummus with it and it was great! And I don't remember what it was called but there's a dish under lunch specials which has chicken and sauce on fries and it was SO good. Probably the best thing we had. However the other chicken dishes were dry - chicken sajji was hard to cut and so so dry even with all the sauce on it. And the chicken shish tawook was hard and dry. It was our first time and I wish our waitress had given us a little more help in what was a popular pick, she just kept saying everything tastes good. Which is fine but if we're genuinely asking, it's because we are actually looking for recommendations! Overall it was good but definitely not getting any grilled chicken because this experience was not great with it. read more

The staff were very friendly and efficient. It is smaller than I thought but nicely decorated. We were there for a family luncheon. The hummus was one of the best I have had. The fattoush was very flavorful, the tabbouleh was lacking flavorful there wasn't any lemon, salt or olive oil on it. Falafel was good but I have had better. The platter was well cooked it had rice with meat and chicken shawarma, shish tawook, shish kabob, kefta, grilled veggies. Over all all of the food was great. read more

I ordered from them yesterday for a big catered event & it was such a good experience. The inside of the place was very nice & clean! The guys in the store were so kind. It was a lot of food & they even helped me take it out to the car! The food was so good, so fresh! The bread was delicious! The chicken was cut into smaller pieces and such a good variety of dark and light meat. 10/10 recommend. Bonus: If you're a business/local organization, they may give you a nice little discount ;) read more

We stopped by to grab some dinner. Classical music playing in the background. Interior looks nice, ornate cut wood decor everywhere. You know it's a good sign when you see a pita oven. The waitstaff is both the host and the waiter. Ordered 1 small crushed lentil soup, Famous Three: spicy hummus, Baba Ghanouj, tabouleh, large fattoush, 2 skewers of chicken kafta, chicken gallayah over hummus with side of veggies and crushed lentil soup. $63.80 The crushed lentil is quite runny, chunky too. It tastes good, even better with fresh squeezed lemon juice. The tabouleh, baba and hummus are all okay. Hummus is smooth, not spicy or flavorful. The baba is a bit salty. The fattoush is good, dressing is yummy. Salad core was left in the salad and some chunks of onions too. The chicken kafta was quite dry, which was odd because my piece had a small part that was still pink and raw. The staff took my kafta piece back and made me a new single skewer. Takes a while for the meat dishes. We were not sure if they forgot about the skewer meat. It came out on a small plate with some more turshi and grilled veggies. Cooked this time, more flavorful, still dry though. The chicken gallayah was quite tasty. The owner is soft spoken, cordial. We didn't see much of our waiter. read more

I'm so glad we tried this place, it was awesome! The Mediterranean food was amazing and honestly so delicious. The service was also attentive, and everyone was just really friendly. Definitely coming back here again! read more

Got takeout. This restaurant is decorated pretty nicely on the inside when I went to pick it up. I got the salmon platter with rice, vegetables, and the soup that came with it. I also got bread and garlic sauce complimentary. Everything was really yummy. The only thing I can say is the veggies could have been seasoned and cooked a little bit better. They were not that impressive in taste. read more

Beautiful restaurant. Great service and food. The bread was amazing. I would highly recommend this place. We will be back. read more

I've finally discovered the best Mediterranean in the Novi area! Service was insanely quick, all of our food came out within 10 minutes of ordering. The waiter was very nice, but I do wish he would have refilled our drinks at least once during our meal. Food tasted excellent. Compared to many other Mediterranean places in the metro area, I do think they skimped out on the portion of shawarma though. The restaurant itself is lovely and has a walk up counter for coffee which I'll have to try next time. read more

Great food and kind and attentive service. I went here with family on the Memorial Day holiday Monday. I especially liked the fatoush salad and the chicken shawarma. Warmed bread and chicken vegetable soup were also very good. Quiet and clean and not too busy around 1pm. This is a limited review due to 1 visit. I would like to return when I am again in this area! read more

Fantastic food well prepared and presented! This is the place for your next company get together!

Amazing food. Very well seasoned, and the fries were hot and fresh. Service was accommodating and friendly. We'll definitely be returning!

Ordered beef kafta kebab and a burger. Meat was very dry, the kafta kebab wouldn't even break off with my spoon. The kefta was so salty too. The burger had what looked like kraft cheese on it. Falafel was also extremely dry and it felt like it was frozen and reheated. Not worth the price, would much rather drive to Dearborn and get better quality. I honestly could have made better food at home. I attached a video of the kafta. UPDATE: I'm dealing with severe stomach cramps now an hour later!!!! I feel sick read more

This was our first time here, drawn in by the excellent Yelp reviews. Overall, a very solid experience and we will probably be back. Here is how things shook out: Doing great: - Atmosphere - very clean restaurant and lovely wood depiction of the world on the back wall. I wish I had gotten a picture of it now in hindsight. - Friendly staff but not overbearing -The warm bread and garlic was great as we pondered the menu. We also received hummus, but I am not a huge fan of hummus so I left that to my hubby to eat...that was fine with me as garlic is my favorite. -Shish Shrimp: If I could only eat this for the rest of my life, I would be happy. Excellent grill on the shrimp and incredibly flavorful! -Baklava was one of the best we have ever had! Very crispy! We liked it but was not our favorite: -Rice was almost sticky. I personally just prefer a more dry rice. -Shish Kafta was not what my hubby was looking for...it was another dish and he got the name wrong. Not their fault but he did not like this as much as what he had hopped. A lot of flavor and massive portion. read more

Returned for one more dinner before leaving. I had the Shish Shrimp and hubs had a lamb dish that I can't pronounce or spell. I really enjoyed my dish but I think next time I will get the shrimp mushroom and garlic because I like a sauce on my dishes. Hubs enjoyed his very much. Can't wait to return in our next trip out. Thanks again Musa for the friendly and efficient service! read more

Ambience was great. They provide fresh baked bread with garlic sauce Ordered Mediterranean wings, loaded shawarma fries and chicken ghallayah. I chosee lentil soup and lamb chili as choice for side. Service was good. The food came fast. I loved the bread, Mediterranean wings. I felt soup was little thick. Lentil soup was good but lamb chili I felt has more tomato flavor. Chicken ghallayah was very bland with vegetables as raw. read more

The Service was not good As I was paying for my "Carryout" order on their "Square" payment system The FIRST THING, that popped up was "TIP" Of course not! Really?!! It's your JOB, to make the meal It wasn't delivered to a table by a "Waitperson" I am Stroke Survivor EVERYONE, saw me walking with a CANE in their restaurant!! So I was asked to wait in their chair by the Entrance door There was a "Bus Boy" near the counter Instead of asking their "Bus Boy" to bring me my Carry Out sandwich as a COMMON COURTESY The,who I assume was the Manager, had me to "COME and get my Sandwich" Oh,Ok No more of my business And,by the way I had a coworker who often ordered a "Carryout" sandwich and didn't leave a Tip either read more

Thank you fellow yelpers. My dad is in the hospital and we were looking for a restaurant near Novi. Middle Eastern food is my comfort food, so we headed to the Levantine Grill because of its high rating. I had the Sajji chicken which is a grilled 1/2 chicken with a spicy curry sauce. My sister had a chicken kabob and her daughter had a fattoush salad with shawarma. The food was excellent and the portions plentiful. The rice was also very good. The restaurant was not very busy and the service was very good. My soda was refilled without asking and the pita was hot and good. I will go back again and highly recommend the Levantine Grill. read more

The service was fast & efficient, and the food excellent! They give you fresh-made pita bread! I could have filled up on their pita, hummus, & tabbouleh, they were so good (and garlic cream - OMG, I am absolutely willing to be shunned by mankind for rest of the day to eat this). But I had their lunch special (kofta) and am glad that I did. The side salad and the rice (be sure to get it with almonds) complemented the well made meat dish perfectly! (The only thing that wasn't PERFECT was their smoothie - it was tasty, but too sweet.) There were so many other things on the menu that looked wonderful! Definitely recommend this place. read more

The vegetables soup is just so PINCHE delicious that I will driving 30 minutes just to have it again. I was like Wow very impressed. I had it with a chicken kabob sandwich and Burna coffee. So far I have been on a Mediterranean craving that keeps giving me surprises. Service staff very attentive and again they did not write our order down. I forgot to take a picture of the roof it would make you meditate for a sec. They have an entree menu that is abundant in quantities. If you are in the Novi area you definitely need to try this establishment. Remember if you crave soup on these cold winter nights let this be your first choice, That is all . This is a relatively new restaurant, and it has the typical Middle Eastern type foods. It's pretty tasty and the ingredients are fresh. The only odd thing is, I ordered a lemonade, and it looked kind of orange when I got it . The server asked how everything was and I pointed out that the lemonade looked like orange-ade. He chuckled and said that's how they do it over there, but if it's not really lemonade, it shouldn't really be sold as lemonade, right? read more

Oh my! Levantine Grill! The loaded shawarma fries are a flavor explosion, and all the meats are cooked perfectly. The lamb chops may very well be my favorite! The appetizer trio of hummus, baba ghanoush and tabouli was served with bread and a side of garlic spread, and enough g h to share with 3 to 4 people. The plates are larger in size here so definitely better for sharing. The lentil soup was good. The baklava was rolled and was good, though I prefer the traditional style. The adani tea was great. Interior is uniquely decorated. read more

Service was great food was also great , my Wife and I ordered carry out, but can't wait to dine in!

I was torn on this one for between three and four stars. My readings are three stars mean I'd go back, four stars mean I'll make a special trip. In fairness, I had the Greek salad and the meatballs. I would have them again, but I'd likely recommend that there are some other items on this menu that would be worthwhile if I wasn't trying for keto. read more

We had dinner here. Our waiter brought out warm bread with garlic spread and hummus (on the house!). We ordered the falafel appetizer and fattoush salad and chicken/ lamb combo plate. The plate came with soup or side salad and rice or fries. The "side" salad was a fattoush salad and was the same size as the one we ordered! Tons of food. The falafel has a slight kick to it and is pretty good. The chicken lacked flavor and the lamb was dry. When we finished the bread, our waiter brought out more! When we were done eating, our waiter gave us warm towels to wipe our hands! read more

I hate to write bad reviews for small business but I did a pickup order , ordered about 40 bucks worth off food sandwich salad and trio .. the food was so bland , literally had to put salt on my salad inside tabouli .. just no flavor .. the only thing that was good was the trio which was hummus and baba ghamou. 40 bucks for a sandwich a salad and a trio is not cheap .. disappointing. read more

Our waiter, Numan A, ( name on receipt), was excellent. He was friendly, engaging in conversation, and answered questions we had about our food. The food was delicious. Amazing service, food and ambiance. Recommend highly, 10/10 on everything! Can't wait to go back!

When I first saw the sign for the middle eastern grill opening up in my neighborhood I was very excited to try it, considering there is not that many of them in Novi area. On Tuesday evening I placed an order for a combo tray for 3 people. The place inside looks very clean with nice decor, the gentlemen who helped me was very friendly and polite. The tray run a bit pricey then other places I usually get it from but thats not the big deal. The three stars are purely for the taste and the quality of food. The meat was dry - chicken was almost burned, the hummus that comes as a side dish was a very runny consistence and thats not what it supposed to taste like. Overall it can be better. For now not giving it another try unfortunately. read more

We have now ordered from this place several times. We are Middle Eastern, so finding a place that we think is great is hard, when you're used to home cooked food. This place had everyone loving it! We always get a combo for 10 or 15 anytime we have a get together or people over, and every single time, everyone is impressed with the food. Their meats are delicious, hummus is some of the best we have ever had, and their house dressing is unreal. This has quickly become our new favorite spot! We will be ordering again in a few days! Can't recommend it enough! read more

What an incredible restaurant! First off, the place is done beautifully with detailed woodwork. I felt transported to the Middle East. Not that I've ever been there. The food matched the level of care put in to the decoration. The humus was creamy and tasty. I had an arabic tea that was delicious and unique. The meat was spiced just right. To top it all, the staff was super friendly and helpful. It was obvious that they are proud of their food and wanted us to enjoy the restaurant. read more
