We had a favorite Middle Eastern restaurant that wasn't open so we decided to try 2 Booli. All we can say is, we won't be going anywhere else. The food was so delicious. We ordered the grilled chicken and shish kebab. They were amazing. The baba was smoky (we love that), the hummus was smooth and flavorful. The garlic and bread is free, and we also ordered an appetizer of spicy hummus, a banana berry smoothie, and two bowls with a BOGO bowl deal they had advertised on Facebook for the weekend. We went here for dinner tonight for my team. Unfortunately no pics to share but I have been going to this restaurant every chance I get when in Farmington hills. Love their pita and garlic spread. Pace yourself you might get full with the pita as it is hard to stop once you start eating it. I always go for the Fattoush Salad with grilled chicken. I love this place and try to eat here if I get the chance when I am in town for work since it is right down the road. I did manage to eat here in July and enjoyed my lunch as always. This time we were just stopping in for a drink and the staff was super friendly to us. We only had 2 ciders, but they gave us pita and dip with it and checked in on us regularly. The thing I like about this place more than others is the spice that they use. It has a flavor all it's own and I enjoy that in a restaurant. 2Booli Mediteranean Eats really is something special. Tracey and I had to go to New Balance to return some shoes. Normally we would go to Great Lakes Crossing but for some reason we decided to go to the Farmington Hills location. After spending an hour inside the New Balance location, Tracey said she was starving. We had two options right in front of us, Thai food or 2Booli??? Tracey LOVES Mediterranean food so that was her pick. I can't lie, I really wanted the Thai food. I am SO happy she didn't listen to me. When you walk in the store, you are immediately hit with the smell of garlic and lamb meat. While that may not sound good to some, it was an unforgettable smell that was excellent. We were immediately greeted by the hostess and whisked away to our seat. Within minutes Shannon (our waitress) greeted us. She is very high energy and was even more excited once she found out we were new customers. She took her time explaining the menu and things we should try. Tracey ordered the Lemon Oregano Chicken. So basically it is a marinated grilled chicken kabobs sautéed in a lemon oregano reduction. Served with rice pilaf and fresh grilled vegetables. It sounded interesting and Tracey was SOOO excited to try it. I ordered the Chicken Cream Chop Sandwich with Spicy Aioli Sauce and a side of Spicy Cole Slaw. If you know me, you know I am all about the sandwiches. Before we get to the main course, let's talk about that bread with garlic paste! Listen, I am not one of those people who eat a lot of bread because I feel like you will get full and not eat the main course! ALL OF THAT WENT OUT THE WINDOW! That bread is hand made by somebody grandma back there. It is exactly what bread should be, soft, warm and flavorful but once you put the garlic paste on it, my lord! I honestly don't know how much of that bread I ate, but I know I put a dent in the bread for the day. But let's talk about the main course.... The Chicken Cream Chop Sandwich is BY FAR the best chicken sandwich I have ever had in my life. It is not even close! The chicken is so flavorful and moist. The spicy aioli sauce gave the sandwich a spicy kick that truly complimented the chicken. The bun was warm and buttery. I am not sure what I was expecting, but it was far more than my expectations. You never really notice how much FRESH vegetables matter, but the fresh lettuce, tomatoes and such added a beautiful crunch! It was just amazing. The spicy cole slaw honestly is the best thing they could have placed with the sandwich. The Cole slaw has just enough spice to it where you can eat it, but you will notice that spice is there. The Lemon Oregano Chicken Tracey ordered was simply fire! I have never experienced chicken with the perfect mix of lemon and garlic. The chicken was so tender and juicy you really could break it apart with your fork, no knife needed. The rice pilaf also had a garlic lemon flavor that was amazing. I am not sure what the sauce was on the chicken, but the sauce was amazing as well. There are restaurants and there are experiences. 2Booli Farmington Hills is certainly an experience that people need to check out, From the food to the customer service, this is exactly what dining should be like. I can certainly say I will be back here and I will try more things on the menu. Pretty restaurant, but a bit overpriced compared to other Mediterranean restaurants in the area serving larger better tasting portions. We use to go there anyway because the atmosphere was pleasant and so WAS the staff. I went there on Sunday to wait for a friend for to arrive, The hostess sat us in the back of the restaurant away from all the other guests which was great since we would be discussing a surgery my friend just had for cancer. She then came back to tell us the server wanted us moved closer to the other guests to make it more convenient for her. I told I would rather sit where I was but would wait for my friend to arrive to see what she wanted to do. I wasn't sure she'd want to share something so private with others around or if she'd prefer to go somewhere else. The hostess told the server and the server came to the table and demanded to know if we were going to eat here or we could just leave. She then wavered her hand toward the door and said LEAVE, GOODBYE! Well, we did and went down the street to LaKabob, had a great lunch with great service at 1/2 the price and had food to take home. The sauce on this dish makes it so flavorful and I like adding it to the rice. I ordered the Shrimp Scampi for the first time. Great selection as there were ample shrimp and I had enough of the dish to take home for leftovers. I would order the pasta again. This is the second time I ordered carry out and they never give me utensils or napkins. Last time I couldn't ask because I rushed to work. This time, I noticed the lack of while I was still in the parking lot. So I go back in and ask for a fork and knife, and the hostess said they don't have any... their shipment hasn't come in. Wow! Came here for lunch for my daughter's 16th birthday with 5 of her friends. The service was spectacular. They promptly brought refills of every drink, even Shirley Temples. The bread and garlic sauce is incredible (and I don't like garlic sauce, their's is addicting). I got a greek chicken wrap with fries, there were enough fries to share with the whole table and they were excellent - crispy, thin, and hot. The girls all enjoyed their food. They brought my daughter a huge rice pudding for dessert, and also brought 2 plates of baklava for the table for her birthday, no charge. Nicely decorated and good service. It was also pretty clean. We got the appetizer trio which had tabouli, hummus and babaganoosh. I personally thought all needed salt. I also had the chicken shawarma pita with fries. It wasn't bad, I personally would've liked more of the garlic sauce inside the sandwich. Overall not bad but also nothing to rave about.
