I often come here for lunch on my break at work! It's pretty good and pretty consistent. I've never had an issue getting a table. There's quite a bit of seating. The service is good. The food is really good. My coworker usually gets their Greek salad and says it's amazing. My other coworker gets the same and feels the same. I'm more of a sandwich girlie! The blt and grilled cheese (add bacon) are pretty average. The onion rings are good and they have those good battered fries! They didn't used to so I'm wondering if this is temporary? Either way, they are good! If you get cheese fries with your entree ask for the cheese on the side. My husband got them and they were a little skimp with the cheese. The sides are bigger. Contains Fresh lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, feta cheese, olives, beets, dill, celery, onions and green peppers and Greek dressing.. they are open to substitutions. I replaced beets with chickpeas. Dressing tasted fresh and not overly fatty or thick. I had the feta on the side and sprinkled it on as needed. I have been here numerous times in I really wish I could give them a good rating because they have a nice menu and are very close to our house, but they always fall short. EVERY TIME we order carry out, something is wrong with our order: simple things like not providing salad dressing to big problems like when we ordered an open faced sandwich. Instead of the turkey being on bread with mashed potatoes and gravy, we got bread, turkey, and a baked potato. Then in the restaurant on one visit, the silverware that was wrapped in a napkin (sonsomeone took the time to do this) was very noticeably dirty with spinach leaves caked onto it. Another time my friend was given the wrong salad. When the waitress came back to check on us, she just took it and gave it to another table. She had no idea if my friend had touched or eaten from the salad, she just gave it to someone else. read more

There is another epidemic running across the country and it's disgusting food and terrible service. This place is a classic example of both. I ordered a salmon salad from here, and it cost $18.00 The salmon was dry, and must have been defrosted for days, there were burnt black "bits" in the salad, no idea what they were. This is a total 5 star on the family restaurant scale. Everything screams "Coney", but I'm glad they didn't brand themselves as a Coney Island. The interior is super clean, and the staff is very nice. I've been here twice recently; once for lunch and once for dinner and they held up both times. The Rueben Wrap was good, albeit a little small, but stuffed and wrapped tightly, so it was a little deceiving at first, but very good. Fries are typical for a "Coney" style restaurant, which is to say that they're very good for being frozen. The Greek Combination (pastitsio, moussaka and gyro slices, served with rice pilaf) was AWESOME. Generous portions is an understatement. Everything was hot and extremely satisfying. Of course, the gyros are quite good as well and surprisingly, the meat is not greasy at all, while not being dry. It seems like you usually get one or the other, but Red Olive really does this well. Went here at lunchtime with a huge group of co workers. The menu is huge and has tons of options. I went with just a basic grill chicken salad Greek salad. It was good, the tomato's were not. Only complaint is that on carry outs they always seem to forget an item like fries etc. owner very nice has offered to replace or missing items twice now but every time we get a carry out he's not in. Your restaurant should give a refund to people who pay with credit cards instead of giving them their item whenever they come back in to eat then can never receive there missing items because the manager/owner isn't in or aware of the situation. This needs major improvement! You have the best albacore white tuna salad sandwich I've ever had but today this is what I received when I asked for extra lettuce I have only bread and no tuna!! Otherwise my family loves their food I just wish they would honor refunds on obvious missing items and mistakes! read more

I will say that the green beans are not exactly how they are pictured in the menu. I bring this up because I hate the green beans they serve. YUCK! But then I got my order and noticed how small the portions were. The grape leaves entree was perfect for one person but the chicken gyro was so small. The sides were bigger than the entree. The server or hostess also forgot the pita bread that was supposed to came with both entrees so the chicken gyro was just sliced grilled chicken with diced tomatoes... nothing too great to rave about. I ordered a combo- gyro and Greek salad. The gyro meet was very good, good spices. The pita bread was warm and not as thick as some of the Greek pita breads- which I appreciated. I've went a few times with my husband. I've been satisfied each time. This place is usually hopping around lunch time. The place is clean and the waitresses are super friendly. I've had omelettes, gyros, and chocolate cake. If you are craving chocolate the chocolate cake was surprisingly delish. It has layers of chocolate. Carry out has been hit or miss post covid, due to the unfortunate circumstances that the restaurant industry has endured. HOWEVER, i am so pleased with my quality of the food I ordered today. Eating inside the restaurant is great. They have a wide variety of items to choose from and the food is great. Service is usually fast and friendly. The ambiance is nice and the bathrooms clean. Here are a few reasons why they did not get 5 stars. 1. They need to drain their salads. Invest in a salad spinner or something. No one wants a bowl of water on the bottom. 2. Get the carry out orders right. We order from them a couple of times a month and the order is always wrong. Hubby has to go back to get it corrected. I have even written down the order for him to take in and still get the WRONG thing. How does Greek salad become a gyro? Every time! read more

The establishment itself is very clean, from what I've experienced. The Greek salad is basic but good, mostly because their Greek dressing is delicious and creamy. They put a perfect amount of feta and the salads are fresh. Huge turn off: you have to pay an additional .50 for a pita when a small Greek is already $6.99 (for a small at that price, it should at minimum come with a pita!) The lemon rice soup was great, perfect consistency and taste but I wish they offered that fluffy bread with the soup! The fries were also very good for being at a Coney Island type joint but I didn't like the cheese sauce because it tasted like 100% nacho cheese which doesn't taste good with fries.
