I've been going to Red Nails Salon for 15 years. I've always had great experiences every time I've ever gone I mainly go for eyebrow waxing but I have occasionally gotten a pedicure they always have done a great job. I went and got my eyebrows waxed March 9 2022 and I regret it! I have natural very long and thick eyebrows, every time I go I tell them I want my eyebrows cleaned up that's all I want, leave the length and thickness just a cleanup. When the woman was finished waxing my eyebrows it took a very long time that was the first red flag it never takes a long time I looked in the mirror and half of my eyebrows were gone she completely butchered my eyebrows I've never had an experience like that where they took off so much of my eyebrows my whole forehead looked weird because so much of my eyebrows were missing, it was a horrible experience. I am no longer returning there because she messed up my eyebrows so bad! She also put the wax on way to hot and burned my skin I had to go home and put aloe gel on my eyebrows because my skin was burning so bad, my skin was still red 24 hours after getting them waxed. Now I have to wait for them to grow out because she took so much off there is nothing left that could be fixed. read more

This nail salon did a great job! I paid $35 for a basic mani/pedi. They were gentle and were very nice and sociable. I did not have to wait long considering I came with three other girls. It took maybe a total of an hour for both! The second photo I posted was my hands the next day! I do not know what happened except that my hands were peeling extremely bad and I could not get it to stop. It may have been something they used. I would still return, I'm not upset about my hands peeling. read more

I am very critical about everything so I pay very close attention to what is being done to my nails. I use to go here in the past and I hated it. I would get SNS and my nails would look like someone had place layers upon layers of powder without consideration to my hands, nail shape or size. But I started going back for convenience, but I've had "T" do my nails with the same SNS service with manicure. She is fantastic. I leave out admiring my own hands. She is very meticulous and especially with long nails such mines. When she finishes, they are sleek and shaped exactly how I want them. Ask for Tee or "T". You won't be disappointed. read more

Service was terrific for my Spa Pedicure. I called in advance for an appointment, since it's a Saturday afternoon. However, I was told to just come on over whenever I'm ready...well thanks for making that easy! I had Cindy as my technician and she was fabulous. I had the $30 Spa Pedicure, I think it was the Deluxe version. Either way, it's 40 minutes of foot care, which comes with Sugar Scrub, Leg Massage, Hot Towel Foot Wrap, Hot Stone treatment, Callus Remover, Cuticle clean up (I requested very little "nipping", since some folks get way too happy with the cuticle trimmer). I promise you that if I wasn't writing reviews at the moment, I was very likely to have fallen asleep--that's how relaxing this service was LOL In comparison to Atlanta nail salons, I found this to be an amazing value. I'm just in town for a few days while my boyfriend is here for work and I needed a manicure for a holiday party. I live in NYC and am super specific about my nails and this salon blew me away! I got a shellac mani and they are absolutely perfect. They made sure I was happy at ever step of the manicure and I felt so well taken care of. Don't go here. I just paid $51 to essentially get a toenail polish change. They even charged me a fee to remove the botched SNS manicure they did. What in the name of all that is holy is that about? First of all. I asked for gel polish. Then they said SNS was better for your nails. Not once did anyone say it was going to be thicker than regular gel nails and acrylics. So I pick out my color. The technician (a male) didn't really seem to know what he was doing. He kept picking up polishes out of the SNS kit and then putting them back. Then picking them up again, comparing them to the other bottles, like he was confused about what step was next. Then upon completion of the initial steps, I told him I thought they were a too thick for my taste and asked him to file them down. They were thicker than any set of acrylic nails I've ever had. So he files a little. Still too thick. He applied two coats of clear polish to finish them. I knew they were too thick for me, and that I would promptly be visiting another salon to rectify the situation. So I concluded that I would sleep on it and if I still didn't like them tomorrow, I'd just go handle it. I professed that I didn't want to be rude, that it was my decision to get SNS. Then I was paraded around the room and told repeatedly that my thick nails were not thick, or that it is normal for SNS polish to be thick. Why didn't anyone tell me that in the beginning of the service?? Anyway long story short... I was so displeased with my finished product that I ended up getting them removed, yet I was still charged full price for them... And then they charged me to take them off. $51 for a toenail polish change. Will never visit this salon again and will never recommend them to any friends in the area. read more

I've been here a couple times before and every time I come back I am reminded why it's been so long: the services offered are subpar and very lacking. I got a deluxe spa pedicure which was fine albeit very quick and hardly any attention to details or effort. I might be a man but I still have standards of what I expect for the price of a deluxe spa pedicure ($30). I also got a manicure which you would expect to be the easiest part as I simply requested a manicure with buff. I left without having the bits under my fingernail scraped out, a half assed shaping, a bunch of dead skin they forgot to clip off, and a buff that even after I spoke up and said something still lacks any real shine or smoothness. Their solution after I said something again was to rub some gel on them and say "See now they shine!" At $15, this was definitely lacking in all areas. I'd spare yourself the trouble and go elsewhere. Unless you just have money to burn on bad services and time to waste. read more

I rarely give reviews, but my first impression was not pleasant. I am new to the area and wanted to try this salon. I arrived around 6:30 to get a new set and pedicure, the lady that greeted me was nice. To start, I will say my pedicure was perfect, plus the tech recognized me from another location - so I was comfortable and she was SO sweet. However the young lady that did my nails was not pleasant, she gave off a bad attitude vibe and kept complaining that the powder on my nail was thick and just had a unpleasant disposition the entire time. She was able to get the acrylic off my left hand, but not all of it on my right hand, I guess she saw my looking at my hand and said you won't see it after she buffs it (huh, but ok). I will say she did a good job on the shaping of the nail, but she did not give me a choice as to what I wanted. I originally wanted my nails long, she said no the shape will be better on short nails - ok. I wanted ombré, she was quick to say "I don't do that" - ok. I ended up choosing a gel color, she handed be a basket full of color, little did I know it was a mixture of brands, so when I told her the color number, she said by who????? Now, if she would have told me that the basket has a mixture of brands and to look for that when choosing your color - nope, none of that, so when I chose my color and she asked what brand, I said I don't know and I did not know to look for that, she took a deep sigh - the one you do when you are annoyed. Throughout the whole experience she made me feel uncomfortable and that I was taking up her time, as it was coming up to closing time. I asked for rhinestones on my nails - one on each, she seemed to have an attitude about that, so she put on any size on the nails - very sloppy/rushed, three fell off the next day. I could have treated her the way she treated me, with an attitude, but the entire time I was apologetic and thanked her, thinking her attitude would improve, but it didn't. Even after I paid, she just looked at me, turned and walked away. The lady that did my pedicure (love her) smiled said thank you, again if it wasn't for her, I think my approach/response to the young lady that did my nails would have been very different. Look, I have been in customer service for years, I work with people daily in a corporate setting managing people, if the nail tech did not want to do my nails or if it would be time consuming, she should have said so - not a big deal, but to be rude and have a nasty disposition the entire time, is not cool or good customer service. read more

My nails were a mess. I was afraid to have any overlays placed on my nails because of past damage. Red Nails is known for the S&S system. You simply dip your nails into the magic powder and there's little to no filing involved! My nails are sparkly and pretty and I'm so excited. Red Nails was clean and everyone was friendly and relaxed and confident. There may be tons of places to get "nails" but Red Nails in the Publix shopping center gives you your confidence back! The deluxe pedicure with the hot stone message is to die for! The ladies and gentlemen who work there are very friendly. After only going twice the ladies remembered who I was as well as the services I like. They spend a good amount of time when giving a pedicure, at least 15-20min just massaging. They are excellent nail artist and very easy to communicate with and understand. I also get my eyebrows waxed here and as a bonus they give your scalp, neck, and shoulders a massage, it is amazing. I always leave feeling completely relaxed, pampered, and beautiful. *Only Negative: The prices may not be the lowest around but it isn't unreasonable for the outstanding treatment you will receive. read more

My first set of acrylic lasted 16 days! I am new from Iowa, but the only reason why I am giving a 4 out of 5 stars is, because after they put the set on. It hurt bad. It was swollen and the chemical they place on top of your nails after grinding them down, felt it was eating away at my real nails.it took a day for me to adjust but they were solid!!! they came came.off easily too. Highly debated leaving before I even received service but was called to a pedicure chair before I could. Felt very pressured into getting a "special" pedicure. I just wanted a basic pedicure. There is no pricing on the 'pedicure sheet' so beware it could cost you upwards of $40, she just kept mumbling the price. I just moved to the area & decided to give this place a chance. When I walked in the door, everyone seemed nice. Sat down, with my feet in the water for a while while an employee that worked there was sleeping in one of the pedicure chairs herself. Asked the lady to cut my nails down a little (didn't do that). Got gel nails, I got a light purple color, within 2 days it chipped. Once it started chipping there were little brown discoloration dots (that usually occur when the color has been on for too long). No one seemed to have a care in the world of the service & although it was a nice place, the people that work there are rude & not attentive. read more

I went in to get acrylics done the lady was nice then her phone rang she stopped doing my nails and ran to her phone and started talking on the phone and then she got my skin with the tools every chance she got she walked away and left me sitting there she was cleaning her water fall when my nails weren't even finished yet it took around and hour and 20 minutes for me to leave and when I did she was outside and didn't tell me " your nails are dry you can go " the nails looked good from a distance but up close you could see one or two nails weren't smooth and weren't the same length I have a very bad experience I wouldn't go here again read more

I don't even consider going anywhere else! I had been looking for a nail salon for ages and always thought I had to go closer to the "city" for good service. Little did I know the best place was right here in my backyard. Red Nails is located right off 985 in the Publix shopping center. The ladies and sometimes gentlemen always do a great job for a fantastic price. Walk-Ins are always welcome and even when busy, you don't have to wait all that long. Their polish selection is better than average but their service is what gets me coming in for fill ins every 3-4 weeks. They are polite but not chatty and you don't think they are talking about you every time they speak in their native Vietnamese. I recommend going for a simple mani/pedi or go all out with a full set in the hottest colors. Everyone there is great and the shop is always clean. read more

It was my first & last time inside this Nail Solon!! I will never go into this nail shop again! I was completely embarrassed by Kathy. She's the one who answers the phone and sets appointments. I went in for a new set and had asked for natural looking nails but after discovering that I had small black dots under a couple of my nails (natural may not work) so instead of being professional and telling me that the dots will show through & I would need a color for polish, she jumped up speaking in her language walked to the back and started on a gentleman's manicure that came in after me! I sat there in complete shock for a good five minutes when a couple of young ladies in front of me said she was rude and that she had done that before, but, because they were the cheapest in the area they come back & used a different lady.
