The gentleman started working on my toes while my daughter patiently waited her turn. She waited almost an hour before 2 other ladies showed up and one of them started on my daughter's pedi. But let me tell you when I left there and looked at my daughter's little toes, I was so upset!!! The lady flooded her nail beds so bad that the gel broke off before we even got home, and it has just peeling off in whole pieces each day since. How could they leave her toes looking like this?! She has been so upset, saying something about it multiple times a day every day. It was my mistake for thinking this vip nails would be just as good as the one in Buford. I also let a male do my gel manicure, which I don't ever do because I find males pay less attention to detail, are preoccupied on their cellphones more often than not, and always seem rushed. Anyway, Finn was the first to greet me so I gave in. At first, he seemed a little rude and short with me (which is why 4 stars and not 5), but I'm not sure if that's just a cultural/language barrier thing or if he's just a diva lol. Regardless, I don't even care y'all because this boy did it right!! This gel manicure has lasted me 4 weeks with NO chipping, only growing out. I have only seen this level of awesomeness with SNS or acrylic, but never with gel. I think it's because he was very careful, made sure to put the polish on the tip of the nails (SO many manicurists forget to do this!), and did a full manicure (cuticles, lotion, etc.) in addition to polishing nails. He ended up being a very nice gentleman and I think I've found my new favorite nail salon!! I tried gel polish at another local salon that I've been going to for years and not only did it chip after the first week, but she charged me the same amount Finn did WITHOUT doing a full manicure. No cuticles, no lotion, just polish:( I'm going to try a pedi this week in addition to my gel mani so I'll keep y'all posted. I hope it's just as good!!
