I'd never tried it before, so I figured why not -- I've heard good things. But after I agreed, she continued speaking to him (in Vietnamese), basically saying, "See, this is an easy sell. Just tell them what they're doing is bad for their nail bed and that builder gel is the best, and they'll always agree." That alone should've been a red flag. The result? A complete waste of money. I've never had gel lift this fast in my life. Absolutely not worth the time or the price.

The man at the front helped me for the first part, he tried to talk me into multiple service none of which I needed (my nails are strong and never break with gel on them). He then proceeded to electronically grind every single one of my nails down to almost nothing, chipping a few the lady then came over and finished the mess he made and tried to glue them. Simple tasks like washing my hair or buttoning my pants became impossible with paper thin nails and within 3 days ALL 10 of my nails were broken, the amount of pain I had to endure was extremely unnecessary and upsetting..it's been 5 weeks and my nails are finally starting to thicken up. I do not like writing bad reviews, but if I can save one person from the mess I went through, I will!

It was only my second time coming here but this time was amazing . They took care of my daughters nails and let her picked whatever she pleased. My nail tech told me the truth about my nail condition and actually cared for my nails. My nail color Choice for my acrylics was a color that they did not have but she did NOT stop until she mixed certain colors just to get the color that I asked for. :) ! Aeron shaped my nails according to how they were previously without even asking, that's great attention to detail. He also used a brush to apply glitter and asked if it was to my liking. I went for the very first time to get tips/builder gel on my nails. Firstly, I requested Vee for my appt (as she had really good reviews and others had used her for their short nail beds like I have). I was told Jenn was the one who would be doing my nails today. I picked a neutral color for builder, but Jenn made said the pink was better. I said I still wanted neutral and then she said the pink one would last longer and was better. I don't have experience, so even after saying I wanted neutral I just went along with it after she started doing the pink. After multiple times through the process of telling her it was too pink, she finally did a neutral color on top of the pink builder gel. Secondly, I told her from the tips step all the way through the polish that two nails of my nails were flicking up. I expressed that this didn't look right multiple times and asked her if there is a way to fix it. She kept adding layers and layers (4X) of builder. I told her from the beginning that the top was not laying flat. She ignored me. Thirdly, one nail is going a different direction than my finger. I told her multiple times if she could file it so that it goes straight with my finger and she didn't. Fourth, the builder gel didn't even go down to the end of my nail bed on a couple nails and the nail looks crooked. Lastly, multiple nails have flecks of "debris" in them because she did not wipe off between steps. And none of my real nails underneath were even cleaned before starting this whole process. I had gardened earlier in the week and there is still dirt under all my nails. This was my first experience and I went with my daughter for a girls day. I left very unhappy with my first nail experience and very sad with what I'm now stuck with. I'm writing this from the car, in the parking lot, because I'm so upset by this experience.
