First let me say that the salon is decorated beautifully which is why I gave them two stars. I was greeted by a very unfriendly woman. I asked for a next GEN set and was seated at one of the nail tech's stations. She was clearly annoyed, spoke to the tech next to her in Vietnamese, stared at me, didn't smile and said she was mad because my nails would take a long time to soak off. I said to her I would gladly have somebody else do them and she continued to talk to the girl next to her in Vietnamese in an angry aggressive tone. I asked for the owner and ended up having somebody else do my nails. The job was very OK. Nothing to make me want to come back and certainly after the behavior of the staff I would never ever recommend this place to anyone! It's a shame that they put a lot of money into the salon to make it so beautiful and their employees are so ugly. On the way out the door another patron stopped me and said "they were very bitchy in there" she explained she wouldn't be returning either. Save yourself the time and go somewhere else because at best you'll end up with only a fair job. read more

I got a manicure and pedicure but when I looked down the line of pedicure chairs I realized that 2 women getting pedicured had severely nasty fungus feet and they were still permitted services here! Using the same foot spa, tools & polishes they are most definitely spreading fungus to other customers! I hope I don't end up with it! I will never go back!! read more

My daughter and I have been coming here and we are very happy. The people are always really nice and friendly. I recently did a lot of remodeling and when i went in to get my nails done they were a mess, but I left looking great. We are very satisfied with the salon. I can go anywhere and I like how clean and nice , odor free -i wont go anywhere that smells because my allergies. read more

Ive been to this nail salon a few times and kept picking different nail techs due to attitudes and performance I never complained until today when I went and got a tech I never used before her name was Annie I made my nail appointment for 4pm knowing they close at 4 I made sure it was okay when I sat down in front of her that there's only an hour left till closing (bc I didn't want her to rush through her work) she says don't worry I'll take care of you, the moment she started working on my nails I noticed her rushing,skipping steps I asked for nexgen she dipped my finger twice(2 coats ) when every other time they do 3 especially when you get a lighter color I didn't say anything until she was rushing thru still buffing my nails and I noticed half the color got scrubbed off I said hey I'm sorry but this nail is missing half the color she said no it's okay I said no it's really not do u mind putting another coat on my nails she said u don't need it but fine u want another coat I'll give you another coat so after she got annoyed about doing that she continued to rush through her work I noticed that my left pointer nail was extremely different from my right it was very thick and she saw me looking and said what's the problem now I said this nail is completely different length and thickness wise normally I wouldn't have said anything since I already corrected her but the comparison was very noticeable she then proceeded to fix it and got agressive with me pulling my fingers pushing. Them away when she was on to the next hand. I didn't say anything then once she fixed that NORMALLY nail techs take this pointy tool to remove the hard extra nail material from underneath your fingers which I had a lot of and she went to finish without doing that I said are you going to remove the stuff from underneath my nails she's like um that's ur job to ask I said your the professional and I've never had to ask for that with anyone else that's just a given when your trying to do neat work and not rush she then started arguing with me infront of customers and she ripped my finger even harder I said do not tug at my fingers like that I appreciate your work but I don't appreciate the agression and being rushed when I'm paying good money to get my nails done she stormed off came back applied the oil on my finger tips by squeezing my finger tips and put lotion on top of my hands (normally they rub into ur hands themselves) and she goes rub it in your self. Then asks me r u satisfied? I said yup she said then u can go. The manager apologized for her behavior and said I'll never set your appointment with her again. Been going here for 2 years. First year was great until Nancy left. The past year I bounced around from tech to tech but stuck with Vicky the last 9 months. She did decent pedicures, acrylic nails and sometimes gel manicure was ok. I go twice a month to get a deluxe pedicure and to get gel manicure. We know this isn't inexpensive ladies (especially at this place, when they keep raising the price. Twice since I've been going in the two years, actually.) As of the last few months, I've had a few incidents with Vicky. 1. Did acrylic tips which lasted no more than 4 days. They all lifted and came off. 2. She called me cheap when I refused to do Nexgen bc I didn't think it would stay on bc..#3. She did a gel manicure and it lasted 5 days before they were all completed chipped and peeled off. 4. She said I was annoying. WHY AM I ANNOYING. BECAUSE I PAY YOU AND ASK YOU TO SQUARE MY NAILS AND TO ONLY DO 1 COAT OF NAIL POLISH?? 5. today was the last straw. Today, I went to their new location which is pretty sweet, however, I was conflicted with which nail service to get since the gel didn't last a week. They so generously gave me a discount of the Nexgen to try for the first time. I had no idea what it is. Just that it lasts longer than the gel manicure. Well after she was finished I said, "vicky, this is like bubbled." Literally looks like I have marbles on top of my tiny nails; which filed more than needed. Not to mention are not even. She electrically filed them for another 20 secs. I clearly had a look of disappoint on my face. She screams at me saying,"you should have told me you wanted them natural looking. " umm excuse me. I am the client of about a year. You don't know by now how I like my nails? Not to mention, this is something that can be fixed. She could have just filed it down more but no, she sent me on my way. I will never go back. Actually I will tomorrow. I will be asking them to remove this ugly service they did to me.. BTW I wasn't a cheap customer. I give 50% tip to my nail technicians.. read more

I had a horrible experience here. As soon as I walked in I noticed the strong nauseating smell, I should have left right then. I wanted a fill with gel nail polish and had 2 nails to repair... This cost me $40. Not only was it expensive (compared to everywhere else I have been to) but the 2 nails that she repaired were cut extremely short compared to my other nails. A large portion of my nail beds were left showing on almost every nail. I left here completely unsatisfied and will NOT be returning. read more

Dirty. Nail tech dropped a tool and "shpritzed" it clean. Was just this side of rude. Owner kept giving me alarmed looks. I wish DBPR would stop in and get a manicure or pedicure and see for themselves. read more

Had a manicure today, August 27, 2013(not my 1st time) at Red Nails, by a technician by the name of Keny? worse manicure ever. Actually my fingernails/cuticles are hurting; what he did was not a manicure, it was more like butchering my nails. Definitely a crime!!! read more

Let me first explain that my first 2 or 3 experiences at Red Nails was pleasant and my nails looked beautiful. However, the technicians on the following two visits were rude, hurried, and terribly unhappy that (on one visit) four acrylics had lifted. Consequently, I was treated to painful removal of the lifted nails, and she literally tore one of my own nails so hard that it bled underneath. Needless to say, I will never return. read more

Arrived for my pedi appt only to be told that the girl with whom I made appt has been out of town for several days (even though I scheduled appt day before). The owner was unapologetic and actually rude!! I asked owner to give me a different experienced technician who does a good job. I knew to specify, since over the years I have found out that very few of the technicians are actually good. The girl who worked on me was terrible!! She clipped my big toe nail very very short and on a slant. When I asked her why she did that, they gave me a different technician. The new one was ok, except she tried to even out the nail which made it shorter and even more painful. Instead of having a relaxing pedi, it turned into a very unpleasant situation. Since their recent expansion, although it's more aesthetically pleasing to the eye, it feels like a factory in there. I have never met a more blatantly rude person as the owner, no customer service skills. I would not recommend this place. read more
