The most unprofessional place I've ever heard of. They got mad cause of their own ignorance therefore refusing to accept the required monthly payment. Actually stated we don't want or need your business and then said we good... After refusing payment they repoed car 30 days later for non payment. What a shaddy unprofessional place. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH AL! If I could give this place negative stars I would. THEY REPOSSESS YOUR CAR AFTER ONE MISSED PAYMENT. Especially with everything going on financially with covid 19, this company is not willing to work with you no matter what your circumstance is. They do not care about their customers especially during this time. Only looking to make money off their customers. We are a family of 4 with very little income right now due to losing jobs because of the impact of the corona virus. We were able to make half of a car payment last month and the following month we did not have the money to make a payment. We have paid 16k on a car that's only worth 14k, this is something that we have been okay with we understand due to the high interest rates. We have trouble one time and the next day someone is ringing our doorbell to take our vehicle. We called the company to make a payment arrangement of some kind and was told we had 10 days to pay $1,000 or say goodbye to the car. Any other company would try to make some kind of payment arrangement. Especially after missing one payment. Al is horrible, told us that he's talked to other customers with "more kids than us and in worse situations" that are able to make their payments during this time. Who is he to judge customers and their situations?! He does not offer any kind of payment plan and told us to get him his money the next day or we cannot get our car back even though we will have the money by the end of the month to keep the car. Was very rude over the phone and only would repeat the days delinquent over and over when we asked about making a payment at the end of the month. This shows he does not care about his customers and is only looking to make a profit. While we understand that missing a car payment is serious never in my life have I heard of a company repossessing a car over one missed payment. Especially if the customer is willing to pay off the amount owed by the end of the month. I write this review as a warning to anyone that is thinking of doing business here. This company is unscrupulous in its attempt to recover debt. Their legal department pulled up a debt and assigned it to the house I have lived in in Montana for the last 35 years. The name on the legal papers have nothing to do with my home or with me. I believe they are targeting senior citizens and trying to scare money out of the vulnerable. I am 70 years old and I think Rodney Guilford pulled my home out of his ass and is trying to recover any amount that he can. I will turn him over to the legal system. I have never missed a payment on my car and when I went in default on my insurance they harassed me and told them I could get insurance in 5 days they said no now with arragonce. This place has done wonders for me. I was going through the valley trying to find somewhere that will finance me. No one would accept me because my proof of income varies so dramatically due to running my own small business and being a Lyft driver. I had purchased a vehicle with USA Auto and besides the mechanical problems I had faced I loved the car and was completely satisfied with the company. Unfortunately they do not keep your loan and after a few months of on time and early payments I was handed the misfortune of being a customer with Red Mountain Funding. I soon learned there seemed to be no way to contact by phone getting an error message of "check the number and dial again" on multiple phone lines. This didn't work out as they like to berate their customers vocally and not through email. Every employee from the ground all the way to the GM Al Vendt are derogatory and juvenile in the way they treat customers. I had fallen into a bad time and luck kept getting worse. As i push my car after an hour and a half of working on it in the middle of a busy phoenix street to get it out of gear my phone flew out of the window and was ran over. I sent an email in regards to everything and their response was to tow the car. It has been almost a week and they still will not respond to my emails so I can at least pick up personal effects from the car and this has created many issues since now I have spent any monies I had left to try and find work without a car that was my only source of income. It has been made obvious through their communication that they waited till right before the holidays to have it towed out of spite. Extremely unprofessional and not a way to run a business.
