Our project was delayed several times due to unforeseen circumstances outside their control, but The Way Construction patiently worked with us as we worked through the delays. I got a quote from The Way, it was reasonable, and all reviews of them online were positive, so I paid the required half up front to get "on the schedule". The check cleared on 7/17/25, so I called that day to get scheduled. I was told I'd receive a call back within 24-48 hours. After not hearing back from them, I called again on 7/28/25. I did receive a call back later that day, and it was at that point I learned there wasn't a "schedule". I was put on a list, and told I'd receive a call/text the week before they came. They said it'd be 4-8 weeks before they could come. On 9/29/25 (9 weeks later), I called to get an update. I received a voicemail from Kyle saying the repair order had been sent out this week, and the crews should be out next week. He said he'd call if anything changes. They did not come the next week, nor did I get notified about it. I called them on 10/10/25 (end of the 10th week) and was told the production team would give me a call back within 24-48 hours. I did not get a call back, so I called again on 10/14/25 (11 weeks later). I got a call back from Kyle later that day; he said he was waiting to hear back from the gutter crew. They came on Monday 10/20/25 (12 weeks later) completely unannounced. Of course, it was when I was out of town, so I reviewed their work when I returned on 10/24/25. Their work was satisfactory EXCEPT they forgot to connect one of the downspouts to the underground drainage. So I called them on 10/24/25 to inform them of the issue. Kyle called me back that day. I texted photos of the issue to him, and he said they should be able to fix it next week. Nothing happened the next week. So on Wed 11/5/25 (14 weeks) I texted Kyle. He responded they'd be out either tomorrow or Friday. On 11/13/25 (15 weeks), it still hadn't been fixed. I texted Kyle again. He sent Jonathan out that day to look at it, to get a bill of materials, and that he'd be fixing it the next morning. On 11/20/25 (16 weeks), Jonathan came out and fixed the issue. Sooo...the time from my deposit being cashed and the project completion was 16 weeks. I finally received a bill for the remainder on 1/7/26...which is what has prompted me to post this review. I do not recommend The Way Construction.

I teared up cause I haven't felt so bullied in my adult years and told him that was rude and he shouldn't call other crazy or laugh at them, he replied it's jus a saying and I said okay it's just a saying then what if I say "you're a bitch" we was driving to his job site leaving all my belongings at his house sixty miles from the job, he then said I will pack ur stuff and bring it to u. He made me wait over a week to get my clothes, medications, and forms of id. When I did get them he didn't return a few things and one of those things was a dual fast speed wall charger he'd borrowed the nite before, it's costed $22. I messaged and he said he get it to me so I told him I would be in town on a specific date and would only be able to get it on that day. I reminded him to not forget on the specific date I will be needing to get it and no text back until four days later. I waited in town for three days he know I have no place to stay on the forth I left town to go stay with my daughter since I'm also recovering from a major surgery. I've messaged and told him since he went threw all my belongings and kept things he knew I needed and also withheld wages I was going to report the situation. He looks for "people to help" as he stated, but his actions tell me he's looking for women who needs help or are homeless to take advantage of. If he wouldn't have smoked meth so much he prolly would've made better choices. I want other to know I needed the help and he jus made it as hard as he could on me knowing I'd jus had major surgery, needed a place, shower, and a friend. He uses his business to lure women saying he can help them with cash, I'm that woman that works with my hands, I don't do under jobs to keep this pg. I sure needed that ten bucks an hr he said he'd pay me but it's now been two months and still nothing, no wall charger that he claims he can afford or compensation for my work. I'm writing this post to recommend Dane Contracting for anyone who is considering getting a new…read moreroof, or an existing roof replaced. We have lived in our home for twenty years, and when our roof developed its second leak, we decided to look seriously at getting the roof replaced. Ryan from Dane was very responsive to our request for an estimate, and his estimate was detailed, professional-looking, and (most importantly) about $2000 less than the other three estimates we got. His crew was here when promised, did a good job of protecting the house and the landscaping when they did the demolition of the old roof, and diligent about getting the new one on, to the point that I had to ask them to get off the roof when a thunderstorm was rolling through, because I didn't want them to get struck by lightning. There was some damage to our window screens on the back side of the house because of falling shingles, and Ryan replaced those screens at no cost to us. Overall, I was very pleased with the courtesy, professionalism, and promptness of the Dane contracting crew. I would recommend them without hesitation.

So my aunt paid a fairly significant amount of money for what was SUPPOSED to be a very…read moreprofessional painting job. Joe, the owner of 1st Patriot, gave her her estimate and guaranteed that she would be completely satisfied with their services or they would keep working on it until she was satisfied. They were originally scheduled to start on the Monday July 6. They told her they would call the day before to confirm. After not getting any kind of confirmation, she messaged them and asked if there were any changes. He replied Sunday NIGHT July 5, via text that they were running over on their previous job, and would be there Monday afternoon to start prepping. Monday evening, she messaged them and they told her they were "not coming until Tuesday afternoon, remember." She did ask if they would be wearing masks, but he did not acknowledged the request at first. When she asked a second time, he said they were "all out". I personally came to the jouse during the job and not a single painter was wearing a mask. They did an incredibly unprofessional and all around half-assed job. When she tried to discuss the issues, Tony, the manager, tried to intimidate her by yelling at her. She reached out to Joe multiple times but received no responses. They quoted her that it would be a 2 day job and ended up not being done until Friday because thet had to fix so many of their errors. They did not clean up as they went and tracked paint dust through the house. Therr were several spots where the paint was so thin. You could see the colors underneath. (Previously a very pale blue and very pale purple in 2 rooms) they tried to "trim" or "frame" light switches, etc and the walls ended up looking like they had patched a hole in the wall. They dripped and smeared paint in several places. Things like putting light fixtures and smoke alarms back that were never done either. We sent pictures to both Joe and Tony to show where they left paint on wood trim and cabinets so the sent one guy in to "clean it up" (still not wearing a mask). Tony informed her Thursday evening that she would need to get them a check asap so they could "close out the job" even though she explained she was still not satisfied with the job that was done. She messaged Joe and asked that she be able to speak with him about the job because she did not want to speak with Tony again after his inappropriate behavior towards her. Joe never apologized for the horrible experience. He informed her he would "be able to meet some time next week, but was unavailable to meet her that day." He never contacted her after that day. When she posted her experience recently... 1st Patriot decided that their best course of action was to not only be unprofessional once again, but also to exhibit incredibly rude, insulting, and absolutely unacceptable behavior. Be very cautious if you ever consider using 1st Patriot for any job because THIS is the experience you have to look forward to.
