As a responsible home owner, we also got quotes from other companies. I sent the estimator an email telling him we had chosen another company for the roof job but hasnt received his quote fir the basement. He responded that he was waiting on my decision on the roof and that Head's would pass on even quoting on the basement project. I feel this is unprofessional and vindictive. Their price on the roof was 10% higher than one of the other companies we received a quote from.

He responded to our inquiries and assured that he and his crew would stay on the job until completion. It didn't take long to have confidence in his abilities seeing his attention to details and quality first attitude. Oh, and by the way, he did stay on the job until completion! (when have you ever seen that). Examples of his various tasks regarding our home: interior doors, trim work, hardwood floors and stairs, tongue and groove ceilings and beam work, exterior Hardieboard siding, soffit and facia, cedar beams and posts and trim, garage apron concrete. I want to express my satisfaction with Forston Construction. My experience with this company…read morestarted with one of my neighbors' houses being roofed. My wife and I watched in disbelief at how fast this crew was working and getting the job done. They completely stripped the old roof and installed a new roof in one day and it looked awesome at the end of the day. As they were finishing up, we went over to talk to them and was introduced to the owner of the company, Kelly. Had a very nice conversation about his business and I pointed to my house and asked if he had time to look at it and give us an estimate. I left him my number as we were heading out of town at the moment. A little while later I got a text from him with an estimate. We decided to except the estimate and Kelly had his sales manager Nick connect with us. Nick came over and worked out all the details with us and was very thorough with answering all our questions. We all agreed to proceed and was told that we could expect a crew to show up in two days and if everything went well the entire job could be done in one day. The crew showed up on time and immediately began working tearing off old roof. Truck load of material showed up a soon after and the shingles started being laid. I have never in my life seen a group of young men work like this. They knew exactly what they were doing and how to do it. Yasbin was the crew chief and his crew consisted of Hilcias, Jordan, Gabriel and Bey. These guys never stopped till lunchtime and then started back up and did not stop again till the job was completed and everything was cleaned up. They put in a very long day and did a fantastic job! Our project was delayed several times due to unforeseen circumstances outside their control, but The Way Construction patiently worked with us as we worked through the delays. Bought a new house, the downspouts were damaged and some were not connected to the underground…read moredrainage. I got a quote from The Way, it was reasonable, and all reviews of them online were positive, so I paid the required half up front to get "on the schedule". The check cleared on 7/17/25, so I called that day to get scheduled. I was told I'd receive a call back within 24-48 hours. After not hearing back from them, I called again on 7/28/25. I did receive a call back later that day, and it was at that point I learned there wasn't a "schedule". I was put on a list, and told I'd receive a call/text the week before they came. They said it'd be 4-8 weeks before they could come. On 9/29/25 (9 weeks later), I called to get an update. I received a voicemail from Kyle saying the repair order had been sent out this week, and the crews should be out next week. He said he'd call if anything changes. They did not come the next week, nor did I get notified about it. I called them on 10/10/25 (end of the 10th week) and was told the production team would give me a call back within 24-48 hours. I did not get a call back, so I called again on 10/14/25 (11 weeks later). I got a call back from Kyle later that day; he said he was waiting to hear back from the gutter crew. They came on Monday 10/20/25 (12 weeks later) completely unannounced. Of course, it was when I was out of town, so I reviewed their work when I returned on 10/24/25. Their work was satisfactory EXCEPT they forgot to connect one of the downspouts to the underground drainage. So I called them on 10/24/25 to inform them of the issue. Kyle called me back that day. I texted photos of the issue to him, and he said they should be able to fix it next week. Nothing happened the next week. So on Wed 11/5/25 (14 weeks) I texted Kyle. He responded they'd be out either tomorrow or Friday. On 11/13/25 (15 weeks), it still hadn't been fixed. I texted Kyle again. He sent Jonathan out that day to look at it, to get a bill of materials, and that he'd be fixing it the next morning. On 11/20/25 (16 weeks), Jonathan came out and fixed the issue. Sooo...the time from my deposit being cashed and the project completion was 16 weeks. I finally received a bill for the remainder on 1/7/26...which is what has prompted me to post this review. I do not recommend The Way Construction.
