The store stayed in constant communication until the install was complete. The installers showed up with masks. They were very professional and cleaned up their mess when they left.

Window World of Evansville are absolutely miserable to work with. We ordered a door on 5/25 with a…read moresalesman named Greg. He was quick with us. I described the door I wanted to him and what color I wanted to match my windows. He "knew exactly what I needed" and wrote everything down. We were not shown swatches or any colors. I trusted him to get it right. On 6/22 they finally came out to put our new door in. I was super excited and hopeful. On the inside it looked great. I went outside to look at the new door and it was 4 different shades of brownish purple and none of those colors were what we requested. I took multiple pictures and sent them to window worlds email and they wrote me back that the salesman made a "human error" and the color was indeed wrong but they would correct it. While waiting on the SECOND door to come in we were sitting at the table one night and a piece of the door came off and hit my son in the head. I called and spoke to Brandon at Window World and he sent the same technician out to fix the door. The tech came out and stated he'd never seen a door do this before and screwed and glued the piece back on. Again we wait for the new door and on 9/21 the second door was installed. It was indeed the right color. (NEARLY 4 months of waiting to get the correct door). On 9/24 I opened the screen door. When I went to close the screen on the door again it wouldn't budge. You guessed it. The SECOND "award winning" door has broken. We also noticed that the flooring in my kitchen has been bubbled up approximately 7-10 feet in my kitchen which is a tripping hazard for me and my children. On 9/25 and approximately 13 times after that I have called Window World of Evansville seeking attention from a manager. I have emailed them twice in this period of time. The first email got absolutely no response. When I received the response from the second email it was from Joe Bush the owner of Window World. He told me that legal action will be placed on me and a lien on my property because I haven't paid my remaining balance yet. He was very demeaning, wouldn't let me speak once I called him on the phone, he talked over me and even said I am "avoiding him!!!!!" GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE I have spent LOTS of money with this company. They resided my home and now put in this door. To be treated as if I'm AVOIDING Joe is discraseful. I have gotten one letter from them and one message from Brandon when I was at the school dealing with one of my children. When I left the school I called right back to speak to him with no result. Right now I feel as if this company does NOT care about their customers or their customer base at all. Joe was very rude and even stated "I've seen this tactic before" again threatening his lawyers on me. What about my damages Joe? What about my flooring your tech damaged or the door that STILL is broken????!!! Joe said he would take care of whatever I needed if I just would pay the $1000.... how do I even know you will take care of it? This company is full of manipulation and dissatisfaction. Our project was delayed several times due to unforeseen circumstances outside their control, but The Way Construction patiently worked with us as we worked through the delays. Highly recommend this company for their high level of customer service, pricing and quality of work.

I got a quote from The Way, it was reasonable, and all reviews of them online were positive, so I paid the required half up front to get "on the schedule". The check cleared on 7/17/25, so I called that day to get scheduled. I was told I'd receive a call back within 24-48 hours. After not hearing back from them, I called again on 7/28/25. I did receive a call back later that day, and it was at that point I learned there wasn't a "schedule". I was put on a list, and told I'd receive a call/text the week before they came. They said it'd be 4-8 weeks before they could come. On 9/29/25 (9 weeks later), I called to get an update. I received a voicemail from Kyle saying the repair order had been sent out this week, and the crews should be out next week. He said he'd call if anything changes. They did not come the next week, nor did I get notified about it. I called them on 10/10/25 (end of the 10th week) and was told the production team would give me a call back within 24-48 hours. I did not get a call back, so I called again on 10/14/25 (11 weeks later). I got a call back from Kyle later that day; he said he was waiting to hear back from the gutter crew. They came on Monday 10/20/25 (12 weeks later) completely unannounced. Of course, it was when I was out of town, so I reviewed their work when I returned on 10/24/25. Their work was satisfactory EXCEPT they forgot to connect one of the downspouts to the underground drainage. So I called them on 10/24/25 to inform them of the issue. Kyle called me back that day. I texted photos of the issue to him, and he said they should be able to fix it next week. Nothing happened the next week. So on Wed 11/5/25 (14 weeks) I texted Kyle. He responded they'd be out either tomorrow or Friday. On 11/13/25 (15 weeks), it still hadn't been fixed. I texted Kyle again. He sent Jonathan out that day to look at it, to get a bill of materials, and that he'd be fixing it the next morning. On 11/20/25 (16 weeks), Jonathan came out and fixed the issue. Sooo...the time from my deposit being cashed and the project completion was 16 weeks. I finally received a bill for the remainder on 1/7/26...which is what has prompted me to post this review. I do not recommend The Way Construction.
