I do loved red mango but this red mango i have many complaints for. The yogurt was wonderful the selection was nice and i think the balanced the amount of fruit flavors with "Ice Creamy'' Yogurts great. Everything at that part of the store is great. It's when i get down to the topping bar it gets very bad. I am huge fan of red mango have visited multiple red mangos so i kind of have an idea what to expect and what should be done correctly. First I will start with the strawberries , they were cut HUGE, These are small cups of frozen yogurt they are suppose to be small pieces of strawberries like every other red mango i have seen they are suppose to be a nice square smaller size. These strawberries looked like they were cut three times they are awful someone needs to fix this it is a huge turn off. My next complaint is for the pineapple, Once again every other red mango i have gone to have had very small sized pineapples even smaller then the strawberries that have blended with the yogurt very well. These things were HUGE once again and not only that they still had parts of the brown skin of them. Made me not want to even use them huge turn off and needs to be changed like the other franchised red mangos. Yet another fruit complaint , the kiwi terrible looked like someone cut then twice and that was it they were yet again HUGE! and there were parts of the skin on them. Clearly the owner of managers do not realize that this is for frozen yogurt and not only should there be no skin on them they should be tiny to go well with the yogurt and allow people to have more then one fruit since one piece of this kiwi would be have my cup. Either they need new managers or the owner should look into a different type of business because this is common sense business techniques. My last fruit complaint will be the bananas , i order smoothies from this location on the regular and they are AMAZING all though they are not always the same and some of the employees take a little to long for me but that is understandable since if I was young girl smoothie making would not be my priority in life, the only thing that ticked me off a little is that it seems everyone makes the smoothie different , some of them are way to thick like way to icy and some come out perfect. One male employee who i ordered 4 smoothies from made them very well and then i was there a few mornings later and one of the females made it way to icy and was already separating by the time it was in my hand. But back to the bananas they are never ripe they are always green when they are putting them in my smoothie. Which makes me believe they are using bananas right around the same time they order them , and anyone who likes bananas will know that green ones are very biter and do not taste well. Now on to the customer service , there was a very nice young lady standing by the machines helping out some of the newer customers on what to do and how it all worked which i think is a great idea to have in your store. But I am sorry to say that is the best customer service in the store. I bought 4 yogurts about a week ago and they were to go for my family at home. It was in the evening sometime and i asked for 4 covers and a bag. The girl had the nerve to hand me the covers and a bag! I understand this is a self serve store and I'm all for it but what are employees getting paid for if they can not even put covers on my yogurt or put them in a bag. Now , I could understand a little more if the store was very busy with a line but I was the only customer in the store besides the couple sitting down to eat. Customer service is a key aspect for a store especially in smaller towns in nassau county since stores get spread by word of mouth and customer service is the main turn off. It also seemed that no one in this store knows how to use the register, I have the red mango app and i was told If i wanted to get a physical card to ask them. Not only did the employee not know how to do it , the manager has no idea and was looking at me like I was stupid. The last thing I noticed which is not a bad thing for me is that the girl gave me 6 dollars more change then i was supposed to get. Usually I return the change but this time i did not notice until I was home and I don't think anyone deserves the money in the place except maybe a few employees who are interested in working and not talking to their friends. I'm sorry red mango but I am going to have to give you 1 star. The yogurt is wonderful and tastes great. But the fruit was terrible which is something I can not get over for what I'm paying. The customer service is absolutely terrible and they need more training. Every person in that store needs more training on the register with technology today how easy it is they should be able to do everything with ease. I used to be a frequent customer of bayside red mango but since this is in my town i have now been a regular. I go to this red mango around 5 times a week switching between yogurt and smoothies. I have to say it is progressively going downhill heading in the wrong direction. First I will say what has stayed the same, that is that the fruit is cut terrible in these huge pieces that i have never seen before. The kiwi still has pieces of the skin on it which i don't know anyone who would eat that at least that is not my fruit of choice.But the rest of the fruit is cut HUGE which is a major turn off and i have read the reviews on here and they seem to agree so at least I am not the only one on this and don't have to explain how they should be cut since that was covered. The other thing which has remained the same is the customer service. The plus side is that there is usually a pleasant young lady by the machines helping newer customers which is great and i have seen some employees come out from behind the counter to help some of the elderly customers who are new to the whole concept which is a huge plus and is the only reason this store is receiving 2 stars since I have not seen any other red mango do this. But that is the only place the customer service is good , the girls are constantly talking look like they are annoyed to ring me up and seem as if there rushing me with an empty store. Also which is the biggest turn off i have ever seen and i don't has been done is history is that the girls will hand you covers and a bag which is crazy i have even seen an older blonde women do this which i would of thought being older they would have known better but I guess not. This needs to be fixed it makes me not want to come back as well as others it is almost embarrassing for us. Overall the yogurt is amazing toppings are always fresh all though the fruit is cut terribly so I will not be having fruit in my fro-yo anymore and the fact the bananas almost always seen unripended but that is understandable. The smoothies are good all thought some employees have not a clue how to make them and make then terrible but I have learned which ones make them right which helps me out. Changes need to be made I already know a few people who will not order from her anymore they are close to losing a regular and many others. So if management sees this please make changes me and other reviewers and customers all feel the same. read more

I am a very picky eater but when I heard about red mango something told me that I should try it. Hear a lot of people in franklin square say it's good! I came in Saturday morning last week and the lady recommended the banana peanut butter protein smoothie since I was interested in the smoothies, it was very good! She was very nice and caring. We had a nice conversation so I can say the staff is very welcoming and nice to customers... I would recommend this red mango to people. It is also very clean which is even better. What an amazing place to go to join this time for YouTube, smoothies and acai bowls! Along with jucies and Waffles!! The staff is soo friendly. Everyone is wearing masks and gloves. They are even doing curb side pick up if you don't feel safe going inside the store. All you have to do is call.
