My wife and I dined in on our 42nd Wedding Anniversary, April 28, 2026. Our server was Jessica. First off, she was great! When we were seated, Jessica arrived with menus and greeted us and asked if we were celebrating anything special? Without thinking, we told her it was our anniversary. I just don't like the the wait staff making a big deal out of special occasions. Anyway, we got our drink order in and she returned right away with those and promptly took our meal order. My wife had the Shrimp Your Way. She chose the Walts Favorite Shrimp and the Shrimp Linguini Alfredo. She loved both of them. I had the Lobster Lover Duo. I believe it was a Main Lobster Tail and a Rock Lobster Tail. They were both cooked perfectly. They were great! For sides, I always get the broccoli and baked potato. The broccoli has a light seasoning and I love to dip it into the drawn butter for the Lobster. I also love the baked potato with the coarse ground salt. When we finished our meal, we asked for the check. Jessica returned with the check and a very nice complimentary ice-cream sundae to celebrate our special day. I love Red Lobster! Their daily specials are great and at a good price. My very favorite day is Wednesdays where you get steak and a lobster tail. Have eaten here for years. We live in the neighborhood. In recent years, the fish menu has become limited. The food prep in this location is inconsistent - depends on who is in the kitchen. It's too expensive to not know what you're going to get. Called to complain about my meal tonight - absolutely no sauce on salmon nor on sprouts in bowl. Completely dry with a side of dry rice. Manager first told me I was wrong. Then told me he couldn't do anything about it until Monday. (It's Saturday.) I guess that's it for us. We won't be going back. As an aside, Red Lobster has the worst rewards program ever. Only good for appetizers or dessert which we never wanted. We are platinun rewards members many times over for nothing. Terrible place. Staff is extremely rude. Especially the young woman at the front desk -- absolutely unprofessional. I was sitting outside waiting for my order when she drove by me in her car, accelerating so loudly that her engine roared louder than an AK-47. I went inside to ask who owned that car, and it turned out it was the same young woman from the front desk. When I asked, she arrogantly said, "That's my car, so what?" No apology, no explanation -- just a smug look and rude attitude. I asked her why she was driving so fast and loud in a parking lot, but got no answer. Honestly, someone this disrespectful and arrogant should not be working in customer service. I canceled my order because I refuse to eat at a place like this. Another employee tried to excuse her by saying her car has no muffler. But I know many young people intentionally modify their cars to make noise and scare people. Last night we chose red lobster to our regret. The calamari was visibly greasy. The shrimp was about 1/8" thick with heave breading, the scallops were about the size of marbles, the clamp strips were more like crumbles. I have never been ripped off more in my life. The lobster tails (pictured) weren't much bigger than the shrimp. The snow crab were so small, more than half of them contained no meat. I made my Valentine's Day reservation at Red Lobster several days in advance, expecting to be seated at or near my scheduled time. When I arrived five minutes before my 7:30 PM reservation, I was told there were 14 parties ahead of me and that I still had to wait. That completely defeats the purpose of making a reservation. I will definitely not recommend Red Lobster to my friends and family due to a highly frustrating curbside pickup experience. My order was scheduled for 4:30 PM, but it wasn't brought out until 4:45, even after I called and was told it would be delivered shortly. When it finally arrived, it was the wrong meal, and while I continued waiting, two other cars pulled up after me and received their orders first. I had to call a second time, and by the time my correct order was brought out, I had been waiting over 15 minutes total. To make matters worse, when I opened the bag, the food container wasn't properly closed or secured, the box was open, and the food had been shuffled around and completely ruined in presentation--an overall careless and unacceptable experience. read more

Listen to me: We need to protect Red Lobster at all costs! Red Lobster used to be so popular, and then it fell away from ratings, and for what? Because people want to eat healthy? I don't get it. Why is there such a stigma surrounding this restaurant? I love everything about Red Lobster and I want everyone to know! The mixed drinks here are delicious and better than any other restaurant bar I have been to. Go for the Mojitos! You will not be disappointed. I have always lived so far away from a Red Lobster, and I crave my Salmon New Orleans. I always upgrade my vegetable, and I always get the baked potato. The sauce that the salmon is smothered in is the perfect blend of creamy and spicy. It's not too spicy, but it's just enough. I usually upgrade to asparagus, but this time they didn't have it. Instead I got the crispy brussels sprouts and I was just as content with my decision. So delicious. All of it! My mother said her steak was cooked to a perfect medium-rare. She was just as into her meal and mojitos as I was. This was her first time trying a mojito and I think it's her new favorite over a margarita. I did notice that the waitress was a little overwhelmed, and it seemed to me like they were a little short staffed. Our waitress was fabulous regardless. Service may have been slow, but there were no mistakes made, and our order came out perfectly. She even went out of her way to find a staff member to make the best mojitos for us!! He was great. Our waitress even took the time to make sure our leftovers were securely packed away and ready for travel. Really, the entire staff was so sweet and accommodating. I recently visited the Red Lobster location and had a disappointing experience, primarily due to the behavior of the manager. We were entitled to receive 12 free biscuits and a 10% off reward, but the manager was not very happy, helpful or friendly about it. Instead of honoring the promotion smoothly, he was rude and unprofessional, questioning the legitimacy of our rewards and making us feel uncomfortable. This unnecessary hassle completely ruined our dining experience. Red Lobster should ensure that their managers are better trained in customer service and honoring promotions without making customers feel unwelcome. Not at all busy but lack of help caused us to have to wait 25 min to be seated. Definitely not an impressive start. It was 40 minutes from seating until we got our food. It was a very unhappy meal. The ultimate feast is not the same but you can't ruin crab legs or lobster. At least it's difficult to do so. Mashed potatoes were dry and cold but the plates were piping hot. Husband was very meh over his steak. My daughter only got crab legs and was happy with that. $200 night and really wish we could take that back but then how would we have learned? On that reservation call I was also less than impressed with the young lady who answered the phone..... when one is going to spend a good deal of money one likes to be comfortable with the people involved. I just walked out of red lobster this evening. Not because of anything they did but because of two things, no staff and then they are working with a reduced Menu. When I asked why the menu was reduced to the point that they barely had anything on the menus, I had no choice but to leave. This was the second time in two weeks. This is a fish house without any fish.... Ridiculous. I came in to have fished and the only fish they had available was salmon. I hate salmon! I do not recommend this place. Run far from it. I love this place! My family and I have been here to dine in about 3-4 times and each experience provided us a full and satisfied stomach. As we walked in, instead of a warm welcome or a hello, the two girls had their heads down searching for a place to seat us. I ordered one of their "catch of the day," Rainbow Trout with oil & lemon. It was quite good. I ordered a side of Asparagus; which was under cooked and the Cauliflower au Gratin. A little to heavy for my likes but it was okay. I also had a dinner salad, the lettuce didn't appear to be washed and had chunks of the head in it. Skip it! My partner ordered the surf & turf, Rock Lobster & Steak, cooked to his liking. He also ordered the Cauliflower au Gratin and the Creamy Maine Langostino and Norway Lobster Mashed Potatoes. I took a bite, that was delicious! I didn't mention their famous biscuits because I didn't eat them and I know everyone just about loves them! The presentation was gorgeous and I was pretty excited. The lobster was very tough and rubbery---and not much flavor. It was a horrible disappointment. I should have spoken to the manager but I didn't want it to reflect on this server at all--he was so good and I didn't have extra time. I will just not order this again. This is our local Red Lobster location - and we dine here quite frequently. This past Saturday (2/2), my husband, myself and our 2 kids, took my parents out to eat to celebrate my mom's birthday. Typically, when we've dined here before, we've always been asked if we are there celebrating anything. This time we were seated, and shortly after our server, Don, came by. There was no smile, no greeting, no nothing. Simply took our drink orders, pointed to the special menu on the table and left. He didn't explain any specials or even suggest anything. We had to ask for refills on our drinks, and had to ask for more biscuits (a table of 6 guests were only given 7 to start with -- yet in the past when we've come in as a party of 4, we've gotten 6 or 8 to start with). Once we had our food, he never came over to check and see how everything was. We finally got one brief hint of a smile when he asked if we needed any take-home boxes and we said yes. It was almost as if he were glad we were leaving! I've never quite felt so much like an inconvenience as he made us feel. The food was all excellent. Red Lobster used to be the kind of chain conglomerate that I'd be excited to go to if I had the money for it...But the quality has seriously gone down hill the last few times I've visited.
