We arrived shortly after 6pm on Wednesday for dinner as a party of 2 and did not have any wait for a table. It was very quiet and low-key, even for mid week. A basket of 4 biscuits was dropped off immediately, which we dug into as we decided on our meals. Our server came back a few minutes later and I decided on the Cajun Chicken Alfredo Linguine and my girlfriend went for the Wednesday special of steak and lobster for $24.99. The food arrived quickly and was overall decent. The Cajun left a lot to be desired as only the chicken was spiced and was more salty than spicy, so I put the black pepper to use. The steak was ordered medium rare, but came out closer to rare, which I tried to capture in the photo. After our meal, we split the Brownie Overload dessert, which was great! Lastly, the cutlery was a bit dirty, especially the knife. I'm sure we will be back (because who can resist those biscuits) but I will definitely consider a different meal next time as the Cajun just wasn't for me. read more

As long as I live, I'll never stop loving this place! Everything is so good and it's a classic staple of most of our childhoods. Popped in today for a nice dinner and got exactly that. Everything was well seasoned and delicious, as always. My ONLY complaints are (1) the prices have gone WAY up--My create your own Ultimate Feast was $52 and (2) the service was slow. To be fair, it was moderately busy, but there were plenty of employees around, so it was weird. Otherwise, I throughly enjoyed myself and will definitely be back. I gave 4 stars for Bryanna who was our server. She was fantastic. This location used to be one of my favorites and in all honesty I typically don't eat here. Bryanna is amazing. I really cannot say better things about her. The food was typical seafood. Nothing to really write home about. I have leftovers which is great. Bryanna made sure to keep our refills coming for our drinks and was very considerate about our leftovers that we took home. It was not very busy but the food did take some time to come out. We came in as a party of 6 it took about 20 to sit us down, the store was pretty empty. We ordered our food and starters, it took about 30 minutes for the starters to come out. Then our food about 45 minutes after that. Making us wait about 1 hour and 45. We spoke with the manager for the night and my brother who is a server at a restaurant said that we understood the situation but the timing was unacceptable. I get it - the service at this location isn't amazing during high volume times like the weekend. The quality of the food however, has always been great. The dishes that we've consistently ordered have generally been snow crab legs and shrimp-related meals, and they've always been perfect. Local long standing Red Lobster. Service was very slow. Got our food 1 hour after ordering. The waitress was friendly and works hard though. The restaurant was surprisingly semi full on a week night. Plenty of parking outside. Had the Salmon, Lobster, Shrimp combo and it was delicious! Cooked well. Salmon was not dry at all and was flavorful. Lobster was also delicious. For dessert, we split a chocolate cake which was too sweet. Overall a decent dinner. A bit pricey for a chain restaurant but it is lobster. First walked in around 12 for lunch. The lights in the bar area were off and there was a family of 4 or 5 ahead of us waiting to be seated. Thru eventually asked was anyone there because it looked deserted. Finally, a manager comes out and proceeds to seat them. My party ask is the bar available for seating, she says nobody is there. As we're trying to decide to stay or not, she says to just come back later, happy hour starts at 3. That should've been the sign, turning customers away in an empty restaurant. We did return later and we absolutely shouldn't had. The bartender was horrible. She kept disappearing. Customers waiting to place to go orders would continuously leave. At 1 point, they gave some to go orders their food without biscuits, and were told it's a 10 minute wait for biscuits. Why they would give the food, knowing part of the red lobster experience are the biscuits is mind blowing. One customer returned his food. The staff were not familiar with the menu or promotions that they were running. It was simply a mess. We wanted to try Red Lobster 1 last time because we heard rumors they were going to close. After my experience, I can't see myself ever going to this location again. It's overpriced and the service is horrible. read more

Stopped in for a quick meal with the family. It was moderately busy with about 3 servers and a host. I had the margarita flight which came with 3 rocks glasses of flavored margaritas. They were garnished and had salt/sugar/taking rims. They were tasty for the price. We ordered the Lobster Bake and Create Your own with Lobster Shrimp Linguini and Garlic Lobster tail. The Bake was tasty. The Lobster tail was flavorful and soft. The linguini could have had more meat and was lacking flavor. The biscuits hit as always. The server was polite and informative. I don't know how they are still in business. No complaints about the service but the food was horrible. Had the Admiral Feist which was I think was around $48.00. You could tell every piece of fish on the plate came from a freezer and thrown into a fryer....nothing fresh! Clam strips ....all breading, scallops...couldn't even tell what they were, flounder was super thin & dry. Shrimps were ok. So overpriced for what you get. I haven't been here for a while but very disappointed. Will not be returning, so many better restaurants to spend your money in. read more

Location is always always pleasant to visit. Even with limited staff they quickly got me my take out order, remembered all the fixings and my beer while I waited was ice cold! After reading many of the reviews...red lobster did not disappoint with its horrible service. Came in Saturday afternoon for lunch and sat at the bar (thought we would have quicker service), but we were wrong. A waiter was taking a to-go order and never acknowledged us. About 4 min later, another waitress came out and asked if we had been helped to which we said no. She quickly gave us menus and took our drink orders. We asked for more time to look over the menu as she left us with our drink and biscuits and that was the last time we saw her. After waiting an additional 10 min-ish with no follow up service or acknowledgment from workers walk past the bar we paid for our drinks and left. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried them anyway and that was our fault. They won't catch us there again!!! read more

After almost a month I attempted to try red lobster out again, this time at the Greensboro, NC location on Wendover. Myself and my friend dined on Sunday, March 8th around 3pm. Our server was Teliah, a very pleasant young lady that I advised I came back as a previous location I had a bad experience. That day the restaurant had no lemons for water or seafood, no salads, and no bibs for the seafood boils. As it wasn't a deal breaker it wasn't a great second impression. I ordered the surf and turf and upgraded to a filet cooked medium. When the meal came out the filet was as cooked well. As the server took the filet back to have a new one made I finished my remaining items on my dinner plate and took the new filet to go. It wasn't friends birthday and they offered a free dessert. My friend chose Strawberry cheesecake and the slice given to her was frozen, it appears to have come straight out the freezer and to our table instead of receiving one that already had a chance to thaw out. At the end of the meal i requested to speak to a manager and the FOH manager on duty that day was Gary, we waited over 20 minutes for the manger to come by and he never came to speak with us. Eventually Sonja, who was the BOH manager that day came to the table to speak width us and was very nice and accommodating. However it was disappointing that the FOH manager didn't speak with us. My husband and I went to Red Lobster last evening. It was not good!!! We waited 50 minutes for our food. The steak was bland and chewy. The biscuits were not hot. The salad is now an additional cost. They ran out of coconut shrimp. The fried shrimp was not cooked completely. However, the manager was kind, understanding, and supportive. I used to love Red Lobster, so after a very disappointing meal recently, I left wondering if it was ever an actually good restaurant or if it's me that's changed. Perhaps a combination of both. What I do remember is that, maybe even 10 years ago, at dinnertime you couldn't get near a Red Lobster because they were so popular. This time I was there on a Friday night and I was one of a few people in the whole place. That aside, unless you're ordering a lobster out of the tank, I would seriously question the freshness of the food that's being served. I ordered the popcorn shrimp (de rigueuer), seared scallops, and a couple sides. The shrimp were fine but the scallops (the size of those little marshmallows) were soggy and chewy. Everything screamed frozen and microwaved. Suffice it to say, the whole meal left my stomach unhappy until the next morning. First there were issues with a dirty table. Next issue was a Seafood restaurant running out of Fish. Finally, service was polite but for the entire time there the server walked back & fourth passed our table talking to friends and only followed up with my table once the entire time there. I don't usually leave reviews but this place was just shocking. I went there after my graduation and to say I was disappointed is an understatement. We only went here because the red lobster we usually go to burnt down. The food was okay- I myself had the Alfredo chicken pasta with a side of mashed potatoes. Flavor of the pasta was good but it was oily?? The potatoes had some weird film on them and they were grainy like they had been microwaved. My brother also said that the shrimp was rubbery and had no flavor whatsoever. I felt bad for complaining because they were understandably understaffed and super nice about the whole experience but when I tell you the service was slow, girl it was sloww. This was the first place I engaged in indoor dinning. The tables were spaced apart really well and the service was great. Sasha was our server and she was spunky and checked in frequently. Our food came out really fast and was delicious. I had no complaints. One of the better experiences I have had at a red lobster. As a chain, you more or less know what to expect when you go to one. I ordered the new Mariner's Feast for $27 and the new sparkling sangria for $9. Mariners feast comes with 4 grilled bite size scallops on a skewer over a scoop of the quinoa rice, an okay slab of salmon covered in mediocre lobster sauce (mediocre due to lack of flavor), and 6-8 of the fried shrimp, which aren't too bad and I don't feel like it's all breading. I opted for the $2 up charge to get the crispy brussel sprouts (do it - they were yummy) and the Cesar salad. Red lobster is one of my favorite places to get a Cesar salad but only when they overload it with the good lettuce pieces... you know what I mean. They are known for their cheddar bay biscuits and I gotta say, they were severely lacking here. They didn't have that extra pizazz taste. It was disappointing.
