There's probably a good reason that Red Lobster is struggling and may go out of business. Quite a huge difference from the last time I visited a Red Lobster. I was there with a customer on a Wednesday. We were seated quickly since there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. They brought us out their signature biscuits which were very good. My customer ordered a steak and lobster special. He asked that the steak would be medium rare. Instead it was medium well. I ordered the crab legs which are usually on special on Tuesday. They brought out a few clusters of crab legs but forgot to bring the typical fork and nutcracker used for crab legs. I'm not sure what went wrong, but the crab legs were very hard to remove from the shell as if they were overcooked. Usually they just slide out once cracked properly. That made it quite challenging and messy. When we were leaving, we noticed they had an empty lobster tank. I'm not sure if that's normal. read more

A special mention goes to the biscuits, which were served warm and were even more delicious than I remembered. I have never been to this location and honestly it's been a very long since I've been to Red Lobster , what a pleasant surprise!! The waitress was timely and very knowledgeable about the menu. She smiled and seemed to enjoy her job. I ordered the Admiral Feast and a side ceased salad with an unsweetened tea. My expectations weren't high but Wow!! What a fantastic meal! The food was presented so nicely, perfectly hot and seasoned so well. Not too much batter on the shrimp or flounder. The seating was nice and comfy and very clean! I will be back to this Red Lobster. Staff: The staff here are so sweet and welcoming. This was my 1st ever visit here and was welcomed with a smile and such politeness. It was absolutely refreshing to see such polite and friendly staff. Service: They were so extremely informative and helpful when trying to decide what to get to eat since I've never been there before. They were so patient and sweet it's so nice. Wonderful evening out... just me, myself and I... Endless shrimp, a glass of moscato (tall one of course to last through the refill or two). I arrived at restaurant and was promptly seated. The server was super quick, friendly Nd the speed of food was almost to the point where I needed to ask for them to slow down. I received my glass of water and wine... here came the salad. The server informed me that she was waiting for fresh biscuits. I took a couple bites of my salad and here came beautifully fresh, hot cheddar bay biscuits. I was just about finished with my salad and my entree arrived. The shrimp arrived piping hot as I expect the scampi to arrive. The refills came very quickly (wonder why they take longer to cook at my hometown restaurant ). I tried the teriyaki shrimp, not my favorite but they were cooked well. Only reason for 4 stars: poorly trimmed vegetables and undercooked rice under the teriyaki shrimp. Service was stellar!!! Shrimp were tender seasoned well. I've been going to this Red Lobster location for years! It's been remodled a few times and looks very nice now! It's pretty much the Church of God, Apostolic, and Baptist hangout after church every Sunday morning. hehe! The garlic rolls are always warm and fresh and the Caesar dressing has a very distinct taste....it's almost spicy. The menu has quite an array of different things; from crab legs and lobster to your typical fried shrimp. Can't wait to go back! read more

Walked in and waited at the hostess stand for about 5 minutes before being acknowledged. The hostess acted like we were bothering them by coming in. Got seated immediately and was thinking about going to a different restaurant based on the attitude of the hostess. Then our waitress (Danni) came in a timely manner and took our order. Danni was a breath of fresh air! She was very professional, a great server! The food was prepared properly and delicious! Refills were delivered without having to ask and everything went smoothly. Our servers name was Emily and she was courteous and prompt but didn't bug us too much . I like that. She kept my iced tea glass full too and brought me extra lemon. I like that too. I sat at the bar, the only one there. Order was taken promptly. Ordered what purports to be a lobster roll. Do not be fooled. The menu photo is nothing like what you get. It looks like you get "lobster" from one end of the bun to the other. What you actually get is "lobster" in the middle of the bun and sprinkled on top of the ends. If you think you are going to get chunks of lobster, think again. What you get appears to be the tough ends of claw meat with some langoustines sprinkled into the mix. And only $18.99! Red Lobster used to offer Maine style mini lobster rolls. These were wonderful. This is a Connecticut roll, done poorly. Save your money and get something else. Also, had to wave someone down to get my bartender so I could get my check. Still the only one at the bar. read more

Social distancing was good, and the restaurant appeared clean. Service was excellent, and the food we ordered was tasty. But they no longer offer a side salad! When we asked about it, the waitress said they have trouble getting the salad veggies due to Covid-19. Are you kidding me? I ate a delicious meal sized salad the week before at a restaurant a few blocks away. The Olive Garden is in the same shopping center, and they have salad. Also, there's a Kroger right across the street, and I havent had any problem getting lettuce, tomatoes or cucumbers there at ANY time during the pandemic. Me and my husband are eating low carb, so no biscuits, appetizers or potatoes for us. Therefore the salad is an important component of our meal. We won't be back to the Heath Red Lobster. read more

This is a very nice restaurant. I haven't been to this chain in over 15 years. The service was great and the hostess and waitress that helped us were notably more happy to see us and help us. Very kind employees, they exceeded expectations there. I tried the 4-course meal and it was very very good 5/5 on flavor. I was full before my entree was served, partially due to their famous biscuits that is unlimited and came out fresh each time we got more. The restaurant has dim lighting which I'm not a fan of, but other than that it is very nice for dinner date. I would love to go more often, but the price point is too high. Most meals were $15-$25 and if you got Lobster you're paying over $30 before tax and tip. We only went because we had a gift card. The price point is the primary reason why my family took me there only once in my life and likely why I won't go there again for a good while. I went 3/17/13 and it was a very pleasant experience. I had the Lobster Lover's platter and usually I stay away from the rock lobster because in the past it would be rock hard but not here. This resturant location used to be an excellent and peaceful place to get your sea food fix in licking County, the previous GM treated her employees respectfully which in turn effects the customer interaction. She left for a regional position and the new GM Matt Abbott is an absolute joke, the resturant is completly disorganized, staff just look completely depressed and miserable as they greet tables, food quality has dropped considerably, overall the resturant has a completely different atmosphere compare d to when the previous GM was running the resturant this time last year. This new GM has next to no credible or positive management experience just based off of what I have seen of the man and have been told by a few employees that I know personally that have worked hard and dedicated 10+ years of service to the red lobster company. If Red lobster as a company doesn't want to see this resturant fail they need to consider a change of management and do not let this "manager" anywhere near corporate on a regional scale to effect other resturant, I pity and feel bad for the Heath Ohio Red Lobster staff. read more

Whenever we go out for dinner (kinda rare, but it happens), we always think of Red Lobster first. We went last week and our visit there was as fabulous as the visit before. We were there for "Endless Shrimp" week, and it was late in the evening. Very laid back atmosphere and clean, which we appreciate. No crowds, no wait to be seated, the servers (all were pleasant) and cooks had time to breathe since the dinner rush. Our server was Joe, who we also had the last time we went. One of those "rare find" waiters who seem to telepathically know when you may need something soon, want seconds, or when to deliver the check without making you feel he'd rather be doing something else. We didn't have to try and flag him down and he passed by a few times to make sure we were enjoying our meals. We really enjoyed ourselves without feeling rushed. We've never had a bad experience there, nor have we had a dish we didn't care for. This place rocks and we'll be back! read more

As soon as I walked in, I noticed a giant fish tank full of Lobsters and immediately got an East Coast vibe along with beautiful sail boat ocean pictures and a lobster on every menu. The waitresses were all very kind, seating us quickly and always smiling. Red Lobsters is a place where large and small families can go and enjoy a high quality meal at a fair price. Not only is the menu inexpensive, but it also provides a variety of foods. Even those who do not like seafood can go and enjoy a wonderful meal. Their main courses range from $15-$23, however they offer many of the main courses in smaller portions for cheaper. From chicken, steak, shrimp scampi, lobster pizza, coconut shrimp, and my personal favorite snow fish crab legs; they truly have it all. The overall quality of my meal was outstanding. I suggest this restaurant to any family, big or small, who is looking for a high quality meal at a low price. read more

We went to this location but after our experience last night, we will probably never go to any Red Lobster again. We go there probably 6 or more times a year? We both always get the same thing but the menu changes a lot and more and more things starting costing extra, like a descent side item! He ordered crab Alfredo add lobster, when he got it the noodles were crunchy and no sauce whatsoever just over cooked as in reheated, pasta dish. He asked for more sauce because it was dry, the manager came over and bullied him into an entree to go, never offered a refund or discount of any kind and we had a an appetizer, said it would take 5 minutes. I want done, we paid and still waited 10 more minutes for the 5 minute entree. So tonight I reheated it for him on the stove and because of reheating it and no additional sauce added, it was a dry pasta almost as bad as last night! Ridiculous! My family and I recently visited the Red Lobster in Heath, OH and unfortunately had a very bad experience. We went on a Thursday evening around 7:00 pm, and there was only one other family in our section, so we thought we'd receive great service. We had 5 different waitresses...one that took our orders, one that brought our drinks, another that brought our food, etc. My husband and daughter each ordered the endless shrimp, but no one ever came back to ask if they wanted more. I had to flag a different waitress down so they could place their second order. This was about 20 minutes after they were finished with their 1st order, so they sat with no food for a very long time...there was no one around to ask, or we would've asked for more sooner. After they placed the order, it took about another 15 minutes to bring it out. By this point, they were disappointed that they weren't having a good experience, and didn't get to sample the "endless shrimp" that they had hoped for. read more
