Just an honest review here. The bathroom was gross. The table was broken. It had the death wobble. No draft beer. Out of some sodas. Got a salad. They do not have the good Ranch. Maybe try a different dressing. The salad was fresh and crunchy not brown. But the tomatoes tasted kind of sour. Appetizers came out quick and timely. Entrees all came out together and hot. The food taste was just ok. Ordered dessert but they did not pre bus or bring boxes until they served dessert so there was no room to eat it. The GM (I think he is anyway) has stopped by our table on a couple of occasions before and he seems to value our input! Food was great. Management needs an attitude adjustment. Whoever the manager was on the night of 06/29/2025 might want to consider a career change. Yelling at employees where other customers could hear about him "not doing his job", yet allowing one employee to stand at a table and chit chat for 20 plus minutes is weird management behavior. ALSO, it's crab fest. They did run out of snow crab, which happens. BUT they have the Bairdi crab legs. Instead of telling customers they had those, she insisted on telling everyone that came through the door they were just completely out of crab. We went to this Red Lobster today for lunch. We were greeted immediately. I asked about a gluten free menu and was given one upon being seated. Raphael, our server, was prompt and courteous. He answered any questions we asked. I ordered the Black Devil shrimp cocktail and some Chesapeake fries which I was delighted to learn were gluten free. My husband ordered a Southwestern shrimp bowl. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious. The staff were so courteous and delightful. This is our favorite go-to Red Lobster restaurant. Hubby asked where I wanted to eat for my birthday! ^.^ This was my choice. We had Tasha again as our server, and she was fabulous once again! They had a variety of seafood platters, burgers, and appetizers. We got the stuffed seafood mushroom for appetizer, ultimate feasts, and the kids got mac and cheese with fries. Friday February 8th 2025 at 7pm. We were a group of 8 celebrating my Grandsons 15th birthday , first concern was the number of people eating I think maybe 25 and I soon knew why. My Grandson had the Ultimate Feast and we will start with the crab legs, he could pick 2 main dishes he chose those for both he loves crab legs and that was the worse ones we have ever seen, they were cold, dry, soft as a sponge and completely horrible, no cracking any of them couldn't do anything but try to squeeze and tear them open with his fingernails and what little bit of meat that he could dig out was dry as chalk and just gross.. next item he chose was shrimp linguine and that was a bowl of dried out cold clumpy mess, he usually loves it but half a bite of this and he was done, next was the grilled shrimp skewers.... he tried to bite one in half and looked like he was working a chunk of beef jerky gave up and done, next was the French fries, cold and limp as rubber bands... you should have seen the looks of disgust on all 8 of our faces, every plate in front of us was in some way not just bad but couldn't even push through it, I will say my oldest Grandson said his sirloin steak was delicious, we did enjoy the cheddar biscuits but I'm done explaining how bad everything from the fish to the shrimp to the crab to the fish and chips were. We gladly paid our almost $400.00 tab and left. Let me finish by saying our server was outstanding, we didn't complain about anything as it was my Grandsons birthday and we didn't want to make it all about us and it was so bad that the only remedy would have been for us to simply leave not paying for anything, really the whole tables food was beyond a simple send back and we didn't want him to have that memory, let me say again our server was perfect and we tipped her very well. UNDER COOKED FISH. I ordered the Ultimate Feast, my favorite meal. The lobster wasn't cooked, it was still pink and cold. My crab legs were also cold, and the fried shrimp were room temperature. The ranch dressing also tasted like it was around it's expression date. I took the whole meal back. I'm not the only one either, 4 other tables around us also complained about their under cooked lobster and food. While our waitresses was amazing, the wait staff all were upset and complained about how terrible the management was. Yeah, it shows. They did offer to bring me a new meal, but I would trust gas station sushi, a fart after eating Taco Bell, and my kids telling a story about how they found Bigfoot even more. read more

Wonderful meal at Red Lobster this afternoon. My wife had Walt's Favorite Shrimp and I had the Admiral's Feast. Both meals were excellent and served hot and up together as they should be. Our server was very attentive to our needs and served my wife first all the time as he should. Really enjoyed seeing that. So we don't go to Red Lobster often, maybe 3 times a year ? We just went last night (4/3/22) for dinner and when we walked thru the door into the lobby I almost turned around and left ! Stopped in late one night, about an hour before closing. Place was pretty empty and we were seated right away. Our server was friendly and quick. I ordered the blackened mahi mahi with a salad, steamed broccoli and the lobster and langistino baked potato. Fish was cooked perfectly and very tasty. They need to change the name of this franchise to Rip Lobster. For my birthday my husband wanted to buy me a lobster dinner. We went this afternoon and ordered the Lobster Duo. Stated as two Maine lobster tails. They forgot to mention in all those glossy pictures that the tails were about 3-4oz each. You know, the size you can get at any grocery store. This dinner is priced at $36.99 each. Oh, and when we ordered a salad as one of our sides to go with it, we were told that would be an additional $1.99. The cole slaw, bland cut-up cabbage with two streaks of carrot, was included. So, including the tip and two iced teas, we paid $102. Give me a break. If you want patrons to return, treat them right. Horrendous. This is the word that comes to mind when I think about the session I just expierenced. We decided to participate in the annual ritual of visiting the Red Lobster for my Grandmother's birthday. In the past years, this has been a great choice, with great expierences. This year, however, was not the same. We arrived at the establishment at 4:30PM, and walked in. We told the receptionist that we were having a party of 17, and asked politely if we could be seated close to one another. He had no problem with this request, and explained to us that it would be a short wait time. With only a 35 minute wait, we all had our hopes up that this was going to be a great time. If only we knew of the dread that was ahead... We sat down at the tables, and were all fellowshipping. Me personally, I was taking the time to enjoy the display of all of the various flags and gauges of historic ships on the walls. The waitress, Alexandria F., walked up and took our drink order. After a small amount of time, they arrived. The sweet tea was excellent, with the perfect amount of sugar. It was so good in fact, that I proceeded to drink the whole glass in under 5 minutes. THIS was the moment where everything slowly faded away. There was a period of around 15 minutes where I was sitting, hopeless. The waitress had not been around to refill my refreshment, and I felt as if my body was malnourished. She finally came back and filled my drink, which thankfully gave me back enough energy to be able to place my order. This next part is called "the turning point of the visit." The menu was brief. When I say brief, I mean short, and practically worthless. There were more options for drinks to choose from, than the actual food choices.This did not set with me well. One of my family members even went far enough to say, "I have never looked at a menu, and been so clueless about what to order in my whole life." This is saying a lot, considering that the restaurant downgraded from a multi-page brochure of selections of food, along with imagery-filled details about each selection, to simply a low-quality piece of paper with about 20 options in total. So after ordering my Sailor's platter, I was awaiting my salad. Whenever my salad arrived, it was nothing more than a bowl of lettuce with maybe 3 tablespoons of ranch drizzled over it, along with some crouton crumbs sprinkled over the top. There was no reasoning given as to why there were no other toppings to go on the salad, such as the typical tomatoes, cheese, etc. Needless to say, I ate this "salad" in around 1 minute flat. I have to say though, it was pretty good... the ranch dressing was pretty good. The only part of this visit that was good enough to bring to anyone's attention was the fried shrimp. They happened to be generous enough to place 4 fried shrimp on my plate, which truly made me feel like I was getting my money's worth. The cocktail sauce had a unique flavor, which in all honesty, was the best attribute of my meal. Overall, the service was not terrible, but the main part that mattered, the food, was nowhere near as good as other fast food seafood restaurants I have attended in the past. I believe that action needs to be taken to prevent future customers from going through the pure torture that I, along with my family, had to be put through. That is why I am taking a huge step and calling the corporate office which can be reached at 1-800-562-7837. I recommend that anyone wanting to help should call this number, and help the cause of making Red Lobster a great place to eat again. In conclusion, I do not recommend Red Lobster. read more

Garrett needs to find a new job. Serving is not for him. I would not be so hard on him, but I went through training at this very same location. The hostess did not bring silverware after seating us and stating she would be right back with utensils. Our server did not offer appitizeres. Garrett also did not realize we were missing silver until after he brought the salads out and I had to request them. When the salads were brought over, mine was not dropped with dressing, and when I asked, he stated they were on his tray, but no before turning his head back and giving a terrible stink eye. I could not find anything that thrilled me on the menu, and husbands came out incorrectly. They must seriously be paying people to leave good reviews on here, because I have been to many Red lobsters from Washington state, California, Tennessee, and other states, and by far the Red Lobster from Gainesville, GA this location of course and Burford, GA have been the worse experiences. All the other Red Lobsters I went too I had great service except for Gainesville, GA and Burford, GA. The best Red lobster to go too in GA it is located in Roswell, GA and Alpharetta. The Gainseville, GA and Buford, GA Red Lobsters provide the worse service, and they make you wait an extremely long time for the food. The waiters in these two locations are extremely shallow minded and close-minded. They are not attentive with serving you drinks, and they never bring what you ask for. Even to bring the biscuits they never bring them or on other occasions they bring them with the food, which defeats the purpose of bringing the biscuits then. The biscuits are meant to be eaten while waiting for the food to be cooked. Linda the waitress we had on January 18, 2022 at the Gainesville, GA location, at 8:45pm when we first arrived, she was being really short and rude while we were ordering. She also did not have a kind tone of voice. I asked her if she could bring the biscuits even though in the other Red Lobsters once they arrive to take the order for your food they already bring the biscuits with them. You don't need to be asking them. In addition, more than 30 minutes had gone by and she did not bring the biscuits, so I asked another waiter named Bobby if he could bring the biscuits, because the waitress is taking a long time to bring them and my 5 year old daughter was crying because she is starving, rather than being empathetic, sympathetic, and apologetic for the bad service he scorned with his face and with an angry tone of voice he cowardly ( me being a woman), tried to sound authoritative by raising his voice at me giving me an attitude for the unnecessary amount of time the waitress is taking. The place was lonely we were the only customers there so there was no reason to take as long as she did. Also, he said, "well of course she is going to take long if she is preparing everything for you !! okay me logically thinking, as if she were the cook when she is only the waitress and is definitely not busy, because we are the only customers. Furthermore, Bobby kept arguing, and I told him there is no reason for you to be all angry. All you had to say is, " I am so sorry for the long wait, I will get the biscuits for you or I will address to her your concern of the extended amount of time she is taking to bring the biscuits that way she can bring them to you." But Bobby was treating me as if I were the issue just because I want some biscuits for my daughters, and one of my daughters was already crying of hunger for the long wait. The main reason I went to Red Lobster was due to the fact that I already knew that Red lobster provides biscuits while waiting for the meal, which this is what I was aiming for to begin with because my daughter's were hungry. Bobby angrily stomping his feet went to the back and finally brought the biscuits, and the biscuits he brought were stale and hard. I asked a male with blonde hair blue eyes who was working at the bar area if he can call the manager for me, and he was really kind and polite when responding to me. The manager arrived and I told him my concerns, and he did nothing about my concerns, which made me more concerned for whoever owns this business, because if the manager isn't correcting or attempting to correct a situation then it is a place with no rules, no governor, and no potential organized business that follows a policy. I've seen this happen too many times and gradually the restaurant begins to lose customers, which leads to shutting down the place. Anyways, once I said I was going to leave a bad review, Linda turned 360 on us and began to act extremely kind with a tiny little voice. How can the fresh catch be frozen? The best thing on the menu had been seafood gumbo and salad. They no longer offer it so the next best thing is the lobster pizza appetizer. If you like tails on frozen prebreaded fried shrimp this is the place for you. Service is barely there and disappears completely once your meal arrives. Lobsterfest time. The food was good ... good for a chain fish restaurant ... but the overall evening was ruined by the "sLacklustre" performance of the waitress. Service can either make a meal, or ruin it. In this case, it was unfortunately the latter. The saddest part, the restaurant was only about one third full, and there seemed to be plenty of waitstaff. The catalog of horrors? We didn't get silverware, even after asking three times, so I had to go capture some from their storage bin. We gave our order, and had two out of three meals, plus the appetizer, all come out wrong. We had one family member that sat there getting cold food, while the other two of us had to wait for a re-cook. We had to ask four times for cheese biscuits, geting an excuse each time as to why they were not available. We finally had the folks at the next table get a basket of biscuits from their (different) server, and they passed it over to us. Salads hit the table at the same tie as entrees. Refills? I had to go to the server stand and get them myself. Nothing went right, even though we were determined to have a nice evening out. I had to step out to the car during dinner to take a brief business call, and based on where we were parked, I could see RL employees out on break having a chat and a smoke. Guess where our server was? You guessed it! She was there when I got to the car, there the whole time I was at the car, and I beat her back into the restaurant. When she finally showed up, she reeked of cigarette smoke to the point that it was like being right next to an overflowing ash tray ... while trying to eat dinner. Yuck!
