There is plenty of seating, a little chilly, bathrooms very clean. The bowl was perfect, if your trying to be on the healthier side, I suggest chicken bowl with double meat, double vegis (especially cabbage) and easy on rice. That's what ill have next time. My heart was set on the "Cook's Favorite Con Queso" ($15.99) - "A hamburger steak topped with our own homemade green chili cheese sauce, sprinkled with cheddar cheese served with rice, beans, red chili salsa and basket of tostadas." The green chili cheese sauce was amazingly hearty and mild with spice. I did not want to stop eating it. Lol. I was not, however, a fan of the red chili salsa at all. It tasted too much like Pace Picante Sauce to me. The service was really great. Plenty of free parking. During the dinner hour, the restaurant had only about three occupied tables, yet service was still dreadful. On one visit, we sat outside and after 15 minutes hadn't even had an initial visit from our server, so we went back inside just to check if we'd been forgotten. The restaurant was generally clean, at least. The bigger issue: after our second visit, we discovered our credit card had been charged twice for the same amount. We didn't catch it until we were back home (out of state). When I called to resolve it, the restaurant told me I'd need to come in person, not practical once you're out of state. I followed up by email with management requesting a refund. And despite them admitting to me in writing of the error correspondence from them ceased before resolution, so I ended up having to dispute the duplicate charge with my credit card company.

We waited and waited and no manager came to our table. The server returned to the table while I was in the bathroom and informed my wife she removed the wings from our ticket. My wife asked where is the manager and the server said do you want me to get him. My wife told the server you were going to get him earlier what happened. At that point with frustration building we just got our ticket and paid minus the wings. (Of course I'm not paying for food I couldn't consume because it was under cooked) The girl at the counter was very apologetic and said she'll inform the manager. I told my frustration that the manager doesn't have the common courtesy to come out and speak to us. I asked the his name and was advised Devonte. I will no longer dine at this restaurant and will advise family, friends and anyone who will listen about the poor service at this Cotton Patch. I stopped by here because many local restaurants in Clovis are closed on Mondays. I was immediately greeted by a very welcoming and accommodating staff. I tried the teriyaki chicken bowl and had a house salad. The chicken teriyaki have a nice variety of vegetables to include cabbage, carrots, and broccoli. Everything was fresh and tasty. The price was right, as were the portions; the place was clean and lively. There is plenty of parking. It is nice to have a place that prepares food fast, but the food is not fast food. He ordered the baby back ribs and I had the chopped steak. The food came out hot and correct. The ribs were delicious and tender. The meat fell off the bones. The bbq sauce was excellent. He also had mashed potatoes and lemon garlic asparagus. We asked the server to make the asparagus soft and they did it very well!! They were delicious! Very tasty and just right. I had the chopped steak with sweet potato. The mushroom gravy was very thick almost pasty but tasted great. The sweet potato came with cinnamon sugar butter. It was perfect. I also had the salad bar and it was very well stocked. We ended with the chocolate mousse cake. The cake was VERY chocolatey, rich and delicious. Bathrooms were clean too. It doesn't look like much outside but it's worth the trip.
