I usually order a blended Arctic Mocha, so if you want delicious chocolate and coffee get that. Another cool thing about them is they have VOSS water and gluten free cookies. This place is utterly AMAZING! I've been going to Red Leaf for about a year, and I honestly wonder why people STILL go to Starbucks with a great place like this in town. I usually rotate my drinks every few times I go there with my top 5 artics 1. Pumpkin Pie White Mocha---freaking amazing. Pumpkin pie in a cup people! 2. Gold Rush--classic deliciousness 3. Toffee Nut White Mocha--as you can see "white mocha" is a trend for me, but I really wouldn't have it any other way. 4. Rocky Mountain Mocha (ahh see, it's regular mocha) holy crap amazing 5. Rocky Mountain White Mocha--(aaand it's back) and hot mama it's brilliant. ps. the minty-ish artic that's out for holidays or whatever is amazing as well! ANYWAYS, besides the amazing drinks and unique flavor that Starbucks just can't capture, Red Leaf also happens to have a very good bakery with a lovely turkey-spinach-pesto sandwich along with a complementary bag of delicious organic chips. The staff at Red Leaf are great and super nice. As are the owners, who are quite friendly and regular workers. The inside of Red Leaf is amazing as well. Comfy chairs, and if your lucky enough, the cute and comfy sofa will be open to sit at. The whole essence is very rustic and home-y. Also, for those who are dieting and still want coffee, (me, Artics are my treat on Fridays :( strictly Fridays) I'd recommend getting iced coffee instead, cut the whip cream, and ask for 1% milk instead. This place has great coffee by Longview standards, but the coffee isn't great. Red Leaf seems to be doing what Starbucks is doing, but doing it way better. They pride themselves on how quickly they can serve the drinks to their customers, as evidenced by their ability to keep the long drive thru line moving. However, the coffee beans are burnt in order to cut through the flavor of their wide variety of really sugary drinks. The pastries are loaded with sugar as well. They offer alternative milks like soy, almond, and coconut, but they have burned the almond milk in every latte I've tried. Although "organic" is in their name, it's difficult to tell if what they serve is actually organic. I have been told that their beans are organic and that they offer organic milks, but there is no USDA Organic sticker on their bags of beans, and their pastries, sandwiches, and smoothies don't specify either. The atmosphere is nice though, and the place looks great. You can always count on the staff being friendly as well. There is also a kid room with a small playground inside this coffee shop, which is great for people with small kids. It probably is not so great for those without kids, as it can get very loud. read more

I really like how they have a play house for kids so if you have kids you can grab a cup of joe while your kids play. Great idea. The coffee was really good. A pretty good place for coffee and doing your homework. The coffee that I got was pretty good but still, in my personal opinion, doesn't compare to Stumptown. Maybe it's just my personal taste. It has a good atmosphere with a variety of furniture and places to sit. Some of the tables are attached to the floor which is a bummer as I wanted to lean against the wall but the table was too far away. I had a sandwich here which was pretty good. Overall a good place to get some organic coffee and hangout or do some homework. read more

Our quick stop here was rather disappointing. The reviews seemed good and the place was busy, another good sign. The coffee was fine. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with bacon and my husband got the strata. Both items were less than desirable. The bacon on the sandwich was barely cooked and the bottom was super greasy. The overall effect was a chewy disaster. The strata was just ok and definitely not fresh. Service was great, so that's a bonus I suppose. read more

Red Leaf is the best coffee house ever. They do have lots of options for different diets. I've been to a LOT of coffee houses in a LOT of places, and Red Leaf's organic coffee is the best, for real. The atmosphere inside is really relaxed and the decor is unique and comfortable without being too funky. The best thing about Red Leaf is the staff.....the staff is the friendliest and nicest around. This is our favorite coffee shop! They have a great assortment of drinks and their smoothies are top notch! The in house bakery is far superior to anything you'll find here! Watch out for seasonal specials! Right now, they've added a House Mocha which is the most amazing blend! I'm don't go for overly sugary drinks so this mocha hits the spot! And it's so tasty in it's simplicity! It gets very busy sometimes, and it's family friendly so if you are looking for quiet, wait until later in the afternoons or earlier in the morning. read more

This was really the only healthy option we could find in Longview for breakfast. They were extremely busy and the drivethrough line was long. Service was very good though. We had two green smoothies that really just tasted like canned pineapple juice and were extremely sweet. I really wish this we had a better experience. read more

I visit Kelso about once a year to see family and always look forward to coming here. The almond milk stevia chai is delicious. Tastes a bit like horchata. Their food items are always tasty too. Definitely recommend stopping here...it's a highlight of kelso. read more

My husband and I tried Red Leaf when the new site opened in Longview and went thru the drive thru. We had a 2 tall lattes (one non fat and one regular). We were both disappointed in the flavor of the coffee or lack thereof. A few days later we went back and had our same lattes inside and again were disappointed with lack of flavor. I asked that a double be added to my non fat latte and it was bitter and still no flavor. Today we went to the Kelso Red Leaf site and ordered same 2 lattes with the same results - no real coffee flavor. We are disappointed and won't go back. Is this common with organic coffee of what? We both go regularly to Star Bucks, Dutch Bros., and Bill's Coffee and like them all fine and find them very flavorful. Sue read more
