After loading up our 26 foot moving truck for our move to Florida we discovered we did not have…read moreenough room on board. I needed a storage unit and I needed one fast! We had to be out of the house the next day, but where do I turn at 4 PM in the afternoon... A Storage Inn to the rescue!!! I called and talked to the on-site manager explaining the situation. He told me to come right in. He set me up with a great little unit, did all the paperwork and had me out the door in 20 minutes. Thank goodness for angels! This was on October 4, 2019, I wish I could remember the young man's name. I just called and talk to, what sounded like a different gentleman, to make sure we are all squared away with nothing due. He was very personable and polite. This company knows how to select outstanding employees. The unit and the grounds were clean and well-maintained. When my husband was there unloading the unit he noticed a woman driving around in a golf cart and she stopped to pick up a gum wrapper... Now that is attention to detail!! They're also temperature controlled. My friend says she pays about $130 per month for hers. It seems a bit pricey to me, but you know your things are going to be safe and guarded from mother nature. Then, when I arrived in August to move in, there was BROWN WATER damage to my son's boxes and plastic bins. I looked up and there was a hole in the ceiling and roof above our storage unit. I was told to file a claim and when I did file, I was told that I did not have opt for insurance so I was out of luck. How is a leaking roof the customer's fault????
