I am an over-the-road trucker and struggle to find parking if it's after 7:00 PM. I found this using one of my trucking apps as a potential parking location that accepts overnight parking. I got here and found a large parking area, easy to pull into, and not another semi in sight. I woke up to an open restaurant with a few customers inside. Upon entering, a friendly woman welcomed me into a meticulously clean diner. Pictured is a loaded omelet with ham, Hashbrowns, and coffee. Stop here if you are passing through. You won't be disappointed in the food, and their pleasant nature will get your day going in the right direction.

All meats were fantastic, very moist, especially the brisket, which was a nice surprise. The potato salad was so good I wish I had taken a pint home. My husband had the frito pie and loved it. Doni insisted the ribs were dry (even though my husband devoured them) , so he brought us a plate with pulled pork to our table. About 5 minutes later he brought us another plate with a fresh serving of ribs. All of these were complimentary. Now THAT is hospitality! It was so much food that we got to take a full to-go box for the trip back home. The atmosphere was charming and cozy, and we got to enjoy a great meal while getting some respite from the storm. We stopped by on a whim based on a Facebook post. It's a very small older dusty building with limited seating and no restroom. They do not take cards. You have to pay cash or Zelle. They will sell out and close without notice. But we lucked out. We didn't know that most people call ahead and preferably a day or two ahead. We did have to wait about 45 minutes for our food. We were glad they hadn't already sold out. But it was quite the foodventure. Based on the aforementioned Facebook post, I ordered the Mr Big loaded baked potato. It has ham and brisket, cheese, sour cream, and bbq sauce. It came in an open faced to go container because there was no way it was closing. I had to dig down through several inches of meat just to reach the actual potato. I had to give some to my husband just to be able to close it to take home. Then I had to ask for a piece of tape. Well worth the price. My husband got the strawberry lemonade. Too sweet for me. He liked it. But it is served in a large mason jar which you get to keep. It had real strawberries in it. She even came and refilled it when it was about half gone. He got the mix plate. You can choose one or two or three meats. He got brisket and hot links. Large portions of meat. You don't get to choose the sides. You get potato salad and baked beans. He was very pleased with the amount of food. If you come expecting too much as far as atmosphere you might be disappointed. But if you want great food and a lot of it then call them up and bring your cash.
