Being the first time there I made the mistake of ordering over $130 worth of food. Oh did I regret it. Though most of that order was brisket and sausage, it still took over an hour to get my order (brisket and 3 hamburgers plain) and we were the only ones in there. Really hope that this isn't typical, but I can't say that I'll be back to see.

The ribs were fall off the bone tender with a visible smoke ring, the glaze had a hint of spice, I guess from the BBQ sauce. Both the ribs and sausage had a good smoke flavor but not overdone. The baked beans have a slight sweetness and it pairs very well with the meats. We do not have anything near this good in Longview I will definitely be back.

They call your name and bring the food to the table. I had a two meat platter with turkey and brisket. The turkey was tender and just slightly smoky. The brisket was excellent. I forgot to ask for lean like I usually do but the brisket was not overly fatty. The meat was very smoky, very tender, and very flavorful. The portion was generous for $18. I would guess half a pound of each meat (?) The sauce on the table is a bit sweet and tangy. The BBQ beans were excellent. The potato salad was good but needed salt. We all enjoyed our meal. Even the kid, who is super picky, ate a bunch of brisket. It was a good choice and I definitely would eat here again if we came to Jefferson City.
