Que merda! I have been confined to my room and only have Yelp to seek help.. The travellers are here too demanding luxuries they would ne'r be granted elsewhere. "I need an ambulance! I'm going to die!" (dm for the soundbits). An infamous mighty pisstakers bunch the lot, but alas I must side with the minorities in this instance for I have just recieved my dinner.. and there is... ..no pudding. The shudda cudda wudda Buddha we call mother goose, sits at home rosey faced and sweaty; "oh my son! he will surely have pudding this night!". 'fraid not mammy.. No gateaux in Guantanimo. Even in school a friday bun was standard to subdue the superspreaders and calm the herds. Here however we are immune to honey and hazelnuts.. no strawberry meringue, no cbd jellys, just a half baked roll, and a half baked prisoner. For the love of god would someone drone me in a brownie! slip an icecream sandwhich under the door?! The media continues to spew warnings and instill terror into the other prisoners, assuring us of our insecurity; "we must not leave, we must not go outside, there are over 4 channels of newsworthy entertainment! and we are not allowed to have haircuts.." So close but yet so far.. a lie.. a chinese covid tracker passport lie.. oh wait! escape! some mental solitude! -a cooking show, a content italian man, a warm Italian pudding.. I got booked in this hotel due to my flight being delayed. We (approx. 30 people who also did not get their flights) arrived here in the evening.The staff at the front desk was very friendly and assigned rooms to us very fast. The rooms are spacious, a little bit old-fashioned, but I don`t mind it. It gives it a special and certain charm in my opinion. Unfortunately I only stayed here one night. The location of the hotel is a little bit outside downtown Dublin. To the airport it`s about 25 minutes by bus or cab. I would like to visit Dublin again and spend more time, but I might prefer a hotel being located more central in the city. Anyway, I enjoyed my short time here and would like to visit one of their restaurants one day. The red cow inn but also the Tom`s table restaurant seem to have a large selection of various delicious dishes. read more

Ah the Red Cow, not the most scenic of locations for a hotel. Wedged near by what was the infamous Red Cow roundabout and a few car dealerships. You also have the luas and heavy traffic surrounding it. I'm not really doing a good job of selling this spot, am I?! I can only speak of my experience, ordinarily I would have no reason or desire to stop in here but a few foreign friends were booked in here for a night due to their flight being delayed so I got to have a nosy around. Their rooms were spacious and very nicely decorated. We had the pub food, it was very tasty and not extortionate. The staff were lovely. I thought it was good value to stay for being a four star. It's close proximity to the airport also impressed me with the prices it charged. I had the bad luck of having to book into a hotel in London by the airport when my flight was postponed due to snow, set me back 100 pounds for the night, it still hurts when I think about it. I would absolutely recommend this spot. You are a good bit outside the city but the luas is nearby or it's even a nice place to have some food before you head on to the country. read more

We were at a christening upstairs in the function rooms, a great day well looked after, but when we went downstairs to the bar and restaurant I have to say Ashling the server was absolutely amazing, such a lovely woman (blonde woman) she really accommodated my daughter and niece one of which is autistic and finds it hard to interact, but even had a bit of fun and a laugh with Ashling, this interaction really made our day out! I was really really pleasantly surprised by my experience here. To be honest I went to the Red Cow with the impression that it wasn't a great venue, or at least a bit low calibre, but I take it all back after staying there for the night. The rooms were nice and clean with gorgeous fresh sheets on the beds, and the buffet breakfast was genuinely top class -healthy muesli, stewed prunes, eggs with fresh brown bread, I was very impressed! Underrated and not overpriced, a good combo over-all I would say! read more

I was here to meet some family who were giving me a lift down the country. They were going to have a pit-stop here to break up their journey from Downpatrick to N Tipperary. I was mightily impressed with the foyer and staircase, very impressed indeed. Bright and very slick. We settled in the Cocktail bar and ordered some food and drinks. Everything was brought over very quickly. I wasn't eating, but the others enjoyed their sandwiches. If you are going down the country from Belfast or east NI, its a grand place to stop and refuel your energy levels. Finally and in case any Luas user are wondering: It's a very easy walk from the Luas stop to this hotel. We came here mothers day for a meal in the Wintergarden Restaurant. Service was lovely, staff were so friendly and quick with food. Drinks orders were very slow but I do think they were coming from a different part of the hotel. The restaurant itself was bright & airy and all reasonably priced (€25 for 3 courses when we visited). As far as restaurants go, this was a carvery standard. Very much pub grub. Soup of the day was lovely (vegetable soup) and I had turkey & ham for my mains. It wasn't unlike something I would have got from our local pub on their Sunday Carvery menu, except at a carvery i could have picked exactly what I wanted on my plate. read more

What a lovely hotel! So beautiful and the staff are just amazing, friendly, and very accommodating. The hotel is located somewhat outside of Dublin proper, but still well worth a stay! The rooms are spacious, clean & comfortable. I was there for the first ever Dublin Horror Con and couldn't have had a better stay or time. Final Verdict: I hope to be back soon! read more

Another Hotel in Ireland that I only know due to events but never stayed there. The events were for around 200 people each and I found the rooms ideal for them and well equipped. Stayed two days a week apart with a large group. Many rooms do not have AC which usually is not a problem in Ireland. However, it was unusually hot. If you stay there check the temperature and request a room with AC in advance. There was a clerk at check in named Ashleigh. She was a nasty rude person on both days. She was ignorant. My group booked 30 rooms. You would think she would understand she's in the hospitality business. We told the manager and he responded she has good days and bad days. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff was excellent. Incredibly helpful and friendly to us. Being from the US they helped us navigate the city with ease. Food in the hotel is well above average surprisingly good for a hotel. I'd recommend the Red Cow for a night or a week. read more

Check in has been awful. Staff is not on the same level with their communication. We arrived very early and to our surprised we told they could accommodate us in a room within the hour. Of course that was all a lie. Hours would go by and as I asked other staff I got a different answers the whole time. So we slept upstairs in their lobby in the corner till the respected 2pm check-in just to be told that the room we originally booked, STILL wasn't going to be ready; even as the guy calls around to see what rooms are ready he is getting mixed answers. Staff needs better training on (1) customer service and (2) how to not lie and truly accommodate your guest with realistic options. Now that we are FINALLY in the room, we shall see how the stay continues to go. Hopefully up from here and I can change this review when I check out to give them a better review. read more

while the hotel was adequate enough and i have no bad comments to make about the rooms the reason i stayed there was to see the June Rogers show. i had heard much about this 'comedy' show but i couldnt see what all the song and dance was about. see how i stuck song and dance in? Thats because this show is seriously seriously lacking in comedy and consisted only of singing and dancing of which i quickly grew bored. i would have left had this been somewhere i had stepped into in town and not paid for beforehand with hotel and dinner included. the staff were pleasant and happy to serve us breakfast as late as 10;45 but hey tell a few jokes June because what i came for, to laugh. read more

Personally I think the Red Cow Moran hotel complex is a very decent establishment. Sure, as one reviewer pointed out its not the most scenic location but it's a very convenient location for commuters and business people alike, traveling from different parts of the country. Hence its popularity for conferences etc. It had been a while since I stayed in the hotel but from what I remember it is the best hotel in that general area made all the more appealing by its convenient location on the Luas line. I would drop by to the Red Cow Inn quite regularly for food and whether ordering from the Carvery or their extensive bar food menu I find both top class. Everything is always well presented and very reasonably priced. The crowd mid week are usually business people. A lot of families at weekends, can get quite busy on occasion if their is an event or big match on. Staff here are always very friendly and attentive to your needs. read more

This hotel is wonderful from the employees to the rooms themselves. We showed up around 1pm just to try our luck (we were told it was a 2pm check in) we were able to get our room, we even were upgraded to a executive suit! The floor we were on was under construction, our room looked brand new! The staff was so amazing and helpful. Our luggage was lost at the airport so we were constantly calling down with updates because the airport bag drop off was calling us with all sorts of different times. Our room service was amazing. We were told it would be a 25 minute delay but they showed up ten minutes after ordering, the food was AMAZING! And reasonably priced. The gym is well equipped, and parking is easy to get to. This is one of my go too hotels in Ireland now! read more

Good price. 15 minute walk on the sidewalk to get to the train. Everyone was very kind. The bathroom needs to be remodeled a little from age and time. House wine costed 23Euro a bottle. That was rough, but it's vacation. Good wife and you have great channels to watch the news etc. Free parking while your down town walking too. Stayed here several times and it is always a pleasure. Good comfy rooms, nice sized and with good beds. Large bathrooms. The hotel has a great bar which does good bar food and also a nightclub on the same campus. It is off the N50 motorway and about 30 mins from central Dublin, there is a tram station nearby. read more

Currently sitting here after being over charged for food we had prepaid for a function, they claimed to bring out double the food we received.. the Singer here is awful beyond belief, have complained to management but it goes on deaf ears as I am being told tough luck.. management also said that its policy never to give refunds so beware of 'policies' ..could not give this place a worse rating.. avoid at all costs.. read more

I had lunch in the Red Cow today. My lunch was cold and when i complained the attitude of the staff was appalling. Food and service has being going downhill for months. I keep saying I wont be back, but as its 60 seconds walk from my office its handy. Well Im saying now I WONT BE BACK.
