They will completely transform the inside with decorations and such. They also offer unique cocktails that are themed to the overlays. Recently over the summer, they had an 80s and 90s overlay, which for an 80's kid, I loved this! There was a giant light brite, tons of colors and great music. It was so fun! During these overlays, there is no cover charge and kids are welcomed to come in as well. I am not sure if there is a charge when there is not an overlay. I know there was years ago but that could have changed. You are also allowed to bring food in which my wife and I will do frequently. We love to grab a seat, get some drinks and then send one of to grab some bao buns from next door. Perfect little snack! Once you are inside, there are two floors, both of them with seating (tables, couches, etc). The dance floor and DJ is located on the first floor. They also have multiple bars, 3 to be exact. There have been overlays as well that had different specialty drinks at each bar. I will say that the specialty drinks tend to be very sweet, so sweet, it is not my cup of tea and even my wife who does enjoy a sweet drink, usually says it is too much. I think they have to work on these but they are strong I will say! It is also very expensive, their drinks usually come in around $18-$20 which is extremely expensive. I do get it is a theme park but wow! I will also say the bartenders are always friendly and chatty, if you tip them well, which we always do, they start to remember us! Overall I really enjoy coming here for the special overlays. It is a fun thing do after a day at the park or on a Friday night as a local. The menus are already on the tables and I was quickly seated and greeted by my waitress who asked what I wanted to drink and I ordered a club soda with lime. Yeah variety of good options for appetizers and meals ranging from a hummus salad to burgers to tacos and three kinds of fries including regular potato fries, sweet potato fries, and yucca fries. I opted for the shrimp tacos with a side of sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were nice and crispy and quite yummy. The tacos were not great but not awful and came with a green sauce that was pretty tasty. The tacos are included in the order so it made for a decent sized meal. I was surprised when I received the check to find out that they had charged me six dollars for my club soda. Every restaurant I have ever been to has never charge me for a club soda. So they not only charged me for it but charged me twice because I got a refill. When I pointed this out to the waitress she said it is categorized as a soda but after some discussion she removed one of the charges. So I still had to pay three dollars for a club soda. If you're in the hotel and looking for some quick bite that are a decent meal or hanging out by the pool this is a worthwhile option.

However, the dining experience was extremely disappointing. Our party of nine waited over two hours for our food to arrive. To make matters worse, one person in our group received their meal approximately 45 minutes before everyone else. No table should have to watch one guest eat while the rest wait nearly an hour for their meals. There were also issues with order accuracy. One member of our party ordered steak and rice but was served steak and french fries instead. After bringing the mistake to the staff's attention, the rice was never provided, and he was ultimately expected to accept the incorrect order. Service throughout the evening was inconsistent. At one point, our table of nine requested water and was initially given only a single bottle for the entire table. We had to repeatedly ask for additional water and other basic dining needs. What was most disappointing was the lack of resolution. We respectfully brought our concerns to a supervisor, hoping the situation would be addressed appropriately. Unfortunately, the response was underwhelming, and any accommodation offered felt more like an afterthought than a genuine effort to make things right. We came in excited to enjoy a family dining experience at one of Orlando's well-known venues. Instead, we spent much of the evening waiting, following up on missing items, and trying to resolve issues that should not have occurred in the first place. While Mango's delivers on atmosphere and appearance, the service, food timing, and customer care left our family disappointed. My wife and I decided at the last minute to go out for dinner -- more of a go out, dress flashy, wine-and-dine type of evening. We love music, so the original plan was dinner, then maybe spend an hour at PBR Cowboy Bar listening to the music before heading home. Well... according to the timestamp, we left the next day -- early morning! Ha! My wife enjoyed the complimentary offers through Live! at The Pointe Orlando, and we ended up checking out several venues we had never experienced before. The Palm Tree Club had a completely different look and energy. The skyline was beautiful, and there was something pretty cool about being able to see the moon while dancing. So, one can say it's open style venue. The music leaned toward dance/EDM/rave-style music, at least from what I understood. We stepped into Shark Bar for the first time and enjoyed the Spanish music and reggaeton. Then we visited Still Lounge by Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg. I could honestly sit there and chill all night. There's just something about old-school music that makes you bob your head, sing along, and relax. Definitely take time to check out the memorabilia inside. And finally -- PBR. Yes, the line was LONG. Out of every venue we visited, PBR was clearly one of the places everyone wanted to be. The music was fantastic. Hearing everything from Michael Jackson and Journey to Toby Keith -- and then hearing the entire crowd singing along -- gave the place a completely different energy. What I especially appreciate is the recognition shown to military members, law enforcement, first responders, and others who serve. The crowd is fun, the energy is high, the drinks are reasonable, and the atmosphere makes it very easy to lose track of time. I wanted to mash up all the photos from every venue we visited that night because the pictures really tell the story -- one stop turned into another, and before we knew it, we had experienced an entire night across Pointe Orlando.
