They also provide free live entertainment in the lobby, where staff publicly argue with every single frustrated patient about how services and costs were "miscommunicated." It's a little bit like dinner theater, but with dental anxiety. You will be pressured into unnecessary services, while items are rapidly added to and removed from your bill like a shell game. Privacy is optional, as treatment plans and financial details are discussed openly, out loud, in front of everyone. They enthusiastically push services your insurance won't cover and that you don't need, and your total bill can swing hundreds to thousands of dollars with no clear or timely explanation. Personally, I was quoted a multitude of different costs across the same visits, sent a request to pay more than I owed, and was told I "wasn't allowed to leave without paying" despite no one being able (or willing) to provide an itemized ledger. After endless back-and-forth with multiple receptionists and the manager, I still do not have a clear breakdown of current charges and am waiting for them to get back to me. If you enjoy confusion, pressure, public financial discussions, and surprise pricing, all with the comforting background noises of the human body, this is absolutely the place for you. I heard from more than 10 clients and friends, many including various doctors, Dr. Mesko was the best. I had my first knee replacement in January and my second in February. I am esctatic! Though only three weeks out from my second surgery I have been elieviated from the pain I have known for so long. While I have been in therapy I have seen numerous results from different surgeons cosmetically. I have very small scars compared to every other doctors scars. Dr. Mesko is truly an artist. As a typical artist, he is very direct, not a small talker. He has made life changes in my body and I will always be thankful to him and his dedication for improving my quality of life.

I wish I had called Katranji right away, but I relied on Google reviews and was deterred by a few negative ones. So I called a different place. The problem is, the other place requires a referral just to schedule an appointment - which is a terrible policy in my opinion (Katranji doesn't require a referral to make an appointment). So I had to wait over a week just to get in to see my PCP first. That was discouraging because I found out later that surgery on this tendon should be performed within a week. But at least when I did see my PCP, they recommended Katranji instead. By the time I saw Dr Katranji it had already been two weeks since the accident (2 days before I called PCP, 8 days to get in to see them, and 4 more days to see Katranji because the appointment was made on a Friday). I'm grateful that Dr. K and his staff were as forgiving as they were knowledgeable. Because of the time that had elapsed I was concerned, but the doc told me it was fine, and was a relatively easy procedure. Surgery was two days later at McLaren. It went great and I'm on the mend with minimal pain. To summarize, everything that took place once I saw Dr. Katranji was positive, and his staff was kind and professional as well. I'm very grateful. Added bonus: I'm a musician and require the use of my right thumb, index, and middle finger. Luckily I still have full use of those fingers while the rest of my hand heals!
