My elderly mother took her car for a wash at Red Carpet. She was a bit annoyed after getting her car washed and tipping the workers handsomely to find they stole her sunglasses from her car! They weren't even expensive sunglasses, just ones she needed because she has sensitive eyes. What kind of a person does this? I will not be taking my car here or recommending anyone to go here. Paid $24 plu 5$ tip and got a crappy job. they left quite a bit of dirt on the car. I had to clean it off myself. they didnt clean the wheels and tires and I had to keep asking for them to do it. For that kind of money, I will do it myself next time for half the price at a self serve. Too much not done for what I paid. read more

Quality wash in terms of pricing, my one complaint is the amount of water left on surrounding parts of the car. However that's just part of washing your car and is the only reason for a star missing. I will continue to take my vehicle there as long as the job is professional and nothing is damaged. I always tip those gentlemen who take the time to stand and wash our vehicles as you should if the job is to your liking. read more

I paid for a deluxe car wash at the Red Carpet car wash on Knoxville & was very very disappointed in their cleaning of my car. I have a SUV & they did not even touch the back ( trunk)! The windows were all streaked & they didn't remove any of the dust on the dash. in other words they did NOTHING to clean my car!! I have never had such poor service & will not be returning!! read more

Horrible job on my vehicle. Got "The Works" with vacuuming in the back which cost me $29. Windows are full of streaks ON THE INSIDE, still mud and grass, etc on the floor boards and sand still on the seats. This vehicle wasn't very dirty to start with... Horrible job. read more

Just don't go here. Just don't. Here's the deal: The first time they run your car through it looks like it's been barely cleaned. Nothing was really wiped off, the mats weren't washed or vacuumed underneath. It was a joke for $20 bucks. The girls behind the counter were useless, snotty, uninformed teens. They actually said "well you have to tell them what you want washed!" Really? I thought I just paid for the Premium Wash and it specified what was included in the wash. I thought everyone could see dirt and grime and know how to clean it. Would they like me to stand there and point to each dog paw print on the seats? They directed me towards a "red shirt" which must be the manager of the teen wolf clan and he was nice and professional which was appreciated. He ran my car through again but guess what it didn't come out all that clean after the second vacuum/wipe and wash. It's a brand new car that just needs a good vacuum and a good internal wipe. Come on now!?! So after my $20 car wash I went and washed and vacuumed it myself. Waste of time and money. You'll never see me here again. read more

Today my sister got her car washed and vacuumed and cleaned and was very good service and I was in it also but need to do better.

On 8/23/19, I went to the car wash on Glen Ave in Peoria, Illinois. When my I got back into my vehicle, my rear view mirror fell down. I informed the supervisor immediately(red shirt).The supervisor said with an attitude, that it was up there when you got In the vehicle. Mind you, my passenger got in, shut the door and I did not even get my door closed and the mirror fell off. I spoke with the Dan. The supervisor and Dan both tried to fix it but could not. Dan spoke with an employee and told me the employee said he bumped it and it fell off. I can understand that because things happen but for the supervisor to act like it did not happen and try to hide it was terrible. Well, Dan offered to give me a free wash for my trouble. I guess that should be enough for a $900.00 mirror. I will not return to Red Carpet again!!! I am happy that the Audi dealership was able to take car of a customer the correct way and fix my mirror!! read more

I went to the one on Glen last Thursday, June 3rd. Paid $17.95 which is what I always get. I left and noticed they didn't put in my air freshener. I called and the lady I spoke to left a message for the manager to call me back. Still waiting. Guess I go downtown from now on. read more

Got my truck washed at the Red Carpet on Knoxville. After the washing, 5 men wiped down the interior and exterior . My 2016 looked like it was a 2021. Sparkled, I was very impressed. Employees were friendly and easy to talk to. Lets see $20.00 for new truck ( got to pretend ). I WILL BE BACK! read more

We had our car washed at the downtown location and after the car came out and was being dried my son noticed the wash had scratched our front fender! My son pointed it out and asked for a manager they looked at it and agreed to fix the scratch at their north Knoxville location. They buffed the scratch which didn't fix the issue! After that I called the the new owner David Seghetti he basically totaled me to bad! Sadly his father would of handled this in a more professional manner! I have used Red Carpet Car Wash for nearly 40 years at about 40 car washes a year! I won't be back neither will any of my family!! read more

I took my car to the Red Carpet on W. Glen. When I got home after the car wash, I noticed the outside of my car was still dirty in the front and back. Some areas inside the car had not been cleaned. I spent 15 minutes to put the car into the shape I expected for $13. Previously, they did a fairly good job, but the quality of their work has been steadily going downward. My car on the outside would have been cleaner (and drier) with a $3 wash, where they have free vacuums that I can use. read more

Got my interior detailed and it was amazing. Looked like a brand new car on the inside. Was full of dog hair to start but after you couldn't even tell an animal was in there. Got some stains out of the seats and even got 99% of the glitter my wife spilled in the trunk. Very convenient since it uses the gas station attendants to manage drop off and pickup before and after detailing hours. I would definitely recomend this service. read more

Worst car wash place in Peoria. Total rip off, and the owner is a complete jerk. 700$ of damage happened to my car and he accused me of lying and had no interest in helping. I went in to get a serviced advertised on their website (engine cleaning) and the guy claimed that they don't perform the service. The person who I spoke with was dismissive and generally not helpful. After the attendant claimed that this car wash does not clean engines, I immediately called Firestone (who recommended this business to me for their engine cleaning services) and the Honda service center and both places confirmed that they send cars to Red Carpet to have engines cleaned without issue. Red Carpet lied to me and I can only imagine why. read more

I use to get the expensive packages until I realized that they will do the same job on your car for $12 bucks that they will do for $20. The only difference is the option of getting a car air freshener and putting Armor All on your tires. They use to be really good about getting the inside of your car very clean but have lately become careless. I have found on numerous occasions the inside of my car still dirty and sometimes I find new scuff marks from the employees getting in and out. If you complain they will normally let you send your car back through for free without a hassle. But I am usually pressed for time in the first place otherwise I would have hand washed the car myself. I give them 3 stars because I realize it is a rough job and the guys out there are either freezing or sweating their butts off depending on what month it is. I recommend if you are in a hurry and you want a nice clean outside of your car then go here. Then later when you have time just go to any self washing place and vacuum the inside yourself. Majority are free in Peoria nowadays anyway. read more

They do a pretty decent job on the exterior of your vehicle especially if you get a Works full-service wash. The express versions seems like a rip-off because my chief complaint is that the whole process is pretty fast already. Make sure you ask them to vacuum your trunk and vacuum between the seats of the middle console. This car wash provides a premium service, and the materials/products they use to clean your car is top-notch. Their vacuuming and interior cleaning is so-so. If you do get a full-service Works, you can return within 3 days for a complimentary full-service wash. I give them mad props for their new car promotion. Check it out on their website. Basically, if you bought a new vehicle (not used), and provide them with the Vin# and license plate#, you get 3 months of full-service washes, no purchase necessary. Also, they have a monthly email where you get $2 off any full-service wash. Lastly, during the holidays, they sell gift cards and discount cards that help lessen the amount of the washes. Overall, it is a nice place to drive through if you need a quick wash, have money to spend, and are too lazy to do it yourself at Waterworks. read more

Been here about 50 times or so. They always do a GREAT job and the staff is friendly. You get a huge value for $15. If you are looking for a $100 detail go job pay for it and don't expect a $100 job for $15. You can add the "Interior Detail Package" which gets that done. Overall Red Carpet is great. read more

Took my brand new Chevy truck to them after a road trip. I expected it to be at least better than the $3.00 car washes I have gotten on my old truck but boy was I surprised when I drove away. First thing I noticed was the inside of the windshield was smeared with something that had to come from their towel because the dash and windows were clean to start with. I stopped to fill it up before going home and looking it over I was shocked that it was barely cleaned at all. Bugs still covered the front end and the rest of the truck was filthy. The floor mats were not cleaned and just an awful job. All for the price of $25.00 plus..... What happened to the real car wash they used to be????? read more

I was at the Glen facility today, got the #3 ($18.95) with tire armor all. Windshield still dirty inside and out, door jams were wiped with dirty rags leaving dirty streaks, door panels, dash, console and nose of the car (bug splatter) still dirty and to beat all...tires were not armor all'd!!!! Seems to me that the people there just want to collect a paycheck and that's it!!! my 8 year old nephew does a better job!!! read more

Okay. The overall service was fine at this establishment. The workers were polite, and they made my car smell like strawberries, however... I got home and noticed that they didn't vacuum the 'trunk' portion of my car. It's a hatchback. The reason I am giving a poor review is because I called to say something and the girl who answered told me it why MY fault it didn't get vacuumed because I didn't specify. I'm sorry, but if I'm going to spend $36+ at your business and get 'The Works' I expect to get exactly what is stated. My entire car vacuumed and washed. They didn't even remove the mats to get what was under them. I guess I'll just continue to clean my car myself because that seems to be the only way I know it's done correctly. read more

Took my car in for the "deluxe" wash...$15 later they failed to wipe down my interior, there are more fingerprints on the outside of my car then before I took it in, and they did not use Air freshener. I had vacuumed my car already so that didn't even need to be done...save your money and go somewhere else...when I called they invited me back for an airfreshner...thanks but no thanks! read more

Don't waste your money at this location! I've been a regular customer at many Red Carpets for about a year now. I go through almost weekly to get my car cleaned and I'm usually happy with the Express clean. However, today I wanted the inside of my windshield cleaned as well and was told the only way to do that was the Ultimate. I had no problem with that but I asked that they not clean my center console as it a delicate plastic and scratches easily and has been scratched by another RC location before. I was told to tell the washer that and I did. Upon receiving my vehicle at the end of the line I noticed the center screen has indeed been cleaned and had soap stains on it. I complained and was given a negative attitude and left. I called to complain to a manager and he said to come back and talk to him. I went back and he got in my face asking "what about it" and that he didn't see anything and how his "rags don't scratch." 1) The rag did scratch and 2) I didn't even want the console cleaned and specifically asked that it not be to two people on the line. They've lost my business at this location and Ed is honestly one of the rudest managers I've spoken with. A simple apology or acknowledgement that they would be sure to fix it next time would have sufficed but they were extremely rude and wouldn't admit they did anything. I second bill "Left so much wax on the windshield that it was harder to see out of than when I brought it in. Didn't even clean the bug smears off the front and I paid for the most expensive option. I know I am obviously upset about how much money I wasted here, but literally if you have a friend with an outside water spigot, rinse your car off wit it and it will be nearly as clean as these guys will get it minus the wax.............." is about exactly right for my experience aswell.... read more

We have been loyal Red Carpet customers for years. Not anymore. For the last few years the care given to the cars is substandard. Interior windowns aren't wiped down. Side mirrors aren't wiped off. Streaks are left on the exterior. This has been seen on several occasions at both the Knoxville and Glen locations. Perhaps the management has changed? Perhaps staff isn't trained as well as they once were? I think we are done with Red Carpet. The care does NOT match the prices. I can do a better job at home for free. read more
