I just got out of surgery. I asked him to go easy, not fly over bumps. He didn't comply. Too busy looking at pics of women (not maps of the road) while driving to care. FYI if I end up back in the hospital I will sue you. read more

Way overpriced I got charged $20 to go for a 5-minute ride there and back literally the mileage and the time came to 5 minutes there and back $20 no wait time mind you that's insane and they are so f****** rude they always hang up on you never give you a time to speak I highly don't recommend and all their drivers don't speak any f****** English read more

Arthur was the best driver I have ever had. Recommend him to anyone!! If your going out and want a fun personable driver he's your guy!!!!

They seem to be barely hanging on. Over the course of one week of rides, the majority of the rides were in dirty cabs. Each day was a differently marked car. Some said Red Cab, some were unmarked, some were personal vehicles. Only 2 rides out of 10 were pleasant. read more

Rude driver. I waved at him and said hello. He neglected to wave back. My heart shattered. He wasn't even cute. Periodt. At least he go to me to Walmart without losing a hubcap. read more

waited over an hour at emergency room for cab to arrive. Arrogant dispatcher hung up on me when asked where car was. Yellw cab to the rescue. will never call again read more

Worst cab company in this city. Guy refused to send me a cab then he mouthed off at me. Completely unprofessional and rude. Can I give them a 0.0? I'd rather walk next time. Take a chance to be assaulted by an Uber driver instead. Stay far away!! Bush league company with drivers that will take 47 turns down side streets to jack the fare sky high. I hope you go out of business soon. Lazy, obnoxious, and low rent. Thanks for this forum! read more

I was looking out for a red cab, instead it was umarked. Then we got to my drop off and he says pay. I'm like pay what, no meter so I had to use my mind powers to figure it out. Low key at first I thought I was being kid napped and then I thought about it, no one wants my old ass. read more

Worst place ever I call to get picked up because I'm in Charlton Massachusetts they will not pick me up because they don't have anybody to come out this way at this moment I would have to wait 30 minutes to an hour if not maybe longer. Whatever happened to JOSE He was a great driver read more

They leave you in the cold not telling they haven't given a cab your call because they have 6 other people in front of you waiting to get one also read more

Stood outside waiting for them for 45 minutes in 40 degree weather. Called twice... told that they were getting a cab. Called Yellow Cab after canceling them... they were there within 5 minutes. Don't know how they stay in business if this is their MO read more

BEWARE! THEY DON'T SHOW UP! We booked this cab 2 days in advance to take us home from a wedding so we wouldn't drive after drinking. They promised a fair rate and to arrive on time. My boyfriend even called an hour ahead of time to remind them and they claimed they'd be there. Then, 11:30 rolls around and they're NO WHERE TO BE FOUND. We tried calling 10 times and NO ONE picked up. Absolutely ridiculous. We waited 40 minutes before being forced to beg a different cab that was there to drive us home. THIS PLACE IS A COMPLETE SCAM. Don't use them unless you want to be stranded. read more

Four reviews, with 13 hidden? Not weird at all... I've had very hit or miss experiences with Red Cab. Sometimes they're fast, sometimes slow. Some drivers good, some bad. About 20% of the time they're late. Yesterday I missed a train because calling 40 minutes ahead of time is apparently too late for them. I called 40 minutes before I needed to leave, then when I called 20 minutes later they said "they were trying to find a cab for me." When they finally got one to me by time I got to the train station just after the train pulled away. I needed to sit there waiting an hour and a half for the next train, and be very late for my appointment in Boston. All I was doing was coming from the other end of Shrewsbury street, and with 40 minutes I probably could have just walked there and still made it on time. I got burned a second time, and since then have gone entirely with Yellow Cab. While their drivers seem a bit less experienced, they actually pick you up, which is a nice thing for a cab company to do. read more

Red cab is simply pretty nice, the cab number, I don't remember but, the driver was very sweet and gave us advice! He drove us carefully and fast. Straight to my home! No stops, the car may look a bit run down. But the car was not smelly, or broken. I had a soothing ride having a lovely conversation with the cab driver. Thank you Red Cab for ur amazing service! read more

Terrible service. My son takes a cab to work twice a week and they are often late, if they show up at all. When we complain they brush us off. read more

WORST CAB SERVICE EVER! Never use this cab service. Call yellow cab or green cab instead! I was about to go to work and i asked them to dropped me off at work.As i was on time but cab driver told me that i couldn't use credit or debit card for payment. I had to lost 10 more minutes to find atm and as i was getting late for my work & she overcharged me as well. Why on earth this cab doesn't inform its customers whether they take cards for payment or not? Its really annoying .And she was talking unbelievably loud on her cellphone (most annoying part) . I experience this situation twice and now i am so done with this cab's service.RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL! read more

Called for a service to the Logan express in Framingham and was picked up at 8am. Took 25 minutes from Shrewsbury with no traffic which I'm told is a stupidly long time. We wanted to get the 8:30 bus to Logan but the driver drove past the bus at 8:25 and then couldn't figure out his credit card machine so that at 8:33 when we ran to the pickup with our bags, the bus had already left. The cab also reeked of nauseating amounts of air freshener and stale cigarettes and there was only one functioning seatbelt in the back seat. Never again. read more

Red cabs always been my go to Cab when needed. I used to call spanish cab which they never showed up half the time and I use to call yellow cab but the lady was always rude. Red cab the guy who usually answers was always very nice and polite. Of course i had a few late cabs . but only.when they are busy. I live off of grafton st in Worcester red cabs the only cab that shows up read more

Do not use this company, they're extremely low class. Their dispatchers are rude and disrespectful, the cabs take forever to get to you if at all and the drivers don't mind cursing you out. You'll be much happier and get their faster with Yellow Cab. read more

I had a good experience with them for just a regular Saturday night out. I called them around 8 and the cab was at my apartment in about ten minutes. I called them again at the end of the night to take me home. This driver took the highway instead of the local routes the first driver took, so even though it was faster, the meter went up much higher. The driver realized this was happening, though, and shut the meter off a few minutes before the ride was over. I will use them again. read more

ZERO stars is what red car deserves for being UNRELIABLE and RUDE! DON'T USE them unless you want to be LEFT HANGING OUT IN THE COLD! There's a reason the reviews are DESPICABLE. I called 12hrs in advance to arrange a 4:15a pick-up for airport drop-off. I specifically requested a mini van or suv to accommodate my family of four plus our luggage, and red cab dispatcher said, "Sure, we can do that. No problem." Sure enough, at 4:15a, my husband, two kids, and I were standing curbside in the cold with no cab in sight until 4:30a. At 4:18a, I called the cab co. to inquire, and only then did the red cab dispatcher share that he was having trouble accommodating my minivan/suv request (yeah genius, cuz that's kinda hard to do at 4:18a in the morning, hence the 12hrs notice to giving you ample time to arrange this "no problem" issue). Then, he practically told me the issue was my fault for requesting a minivan/suv, but he could still send a regular car if I wanted (or what, I could try to find another cab company at 4:20 in the morning?!?!). To get to the airport on time, I settled for stuffing my family and our luggage like clowns in a clown car. When the driver arrived, he was slow-moving, didn't greet or speak to us, and even unusually delayed opening the car trunk for us to load our luggage while he sat in the car. While en route, I called the dispatcher to ask whether they'd adjust the originally quoted price (the one we would pay if they had picked us up timely and accommodated our minivan request). The dispatcher (who reacted as though he was FRUSTRATED and ANNOYED by my calling for the second time that morning) told me an adjustment was beyond his control (clearly, arranging for timely pick-up with 12hrs notice is also beyond their control), and was RUDE enough to tell me that we could just get out of the cab if we didn't like it. Meanwhile, at the same time, our driver (who overheard the conversation) simultaneously stopped driving, and prepared to dump us on the highway at 4:35am. Thankfully, bc we had alotted extra time and planned for even simple common sense to fail (sadly, even with advanced planning, always factor in Murphy's law), we made our flight despite the red car IDIOCY. Don't bother with red car LATE and DISCOURTEOUS service. Stick with yellow cab, their drivers are actually professional, courteous, and on time!!!! read more

I have tried every cab company in the city and red cab is the only one that I will use from now on. Over the past few months that put some computer dispatch thing in that makes it fastest for my cab to arrive and the drivers told me they put new rules in place for them. No smoking in the cabs and they have to dress nice. They seem like they are trying to change the company in a new direction and I would recommend them to everyone. read more

BEWARE!! Listen to the other negative reviews!! Do NOT rely on Red Cab. They do not show up on time!! And when (NOT if) they cannot find your location they will blame you!! They do not use GPS -- my cabbie was using a paperback book with street names and paper maps trying to find my house -- but the dispatcher will tell you their drivers use GPS!! read more

Absolutely Horrible. Showing way too late, due to internal miscommunication, and absolutely not taking any responsibility for it. This company cost me a lot of money as we had to rearrange our trip due to their stunning non-performance. When escalating this to the owner, who did not feel any responsibility, it became clear that this a low level company's with no no sense at all for customer satisfaction. read more

Shit for service. Waited for an hour after calling and then I called again and I said I've been waiting here for an hour and then they said they arrived at the destination and they called me and I wasn't there. I was waiting outside in the rain pretty sure if I would seen a cab driver after that they said there nothing I can do for you and then hung up. read more

By far I mean by very far the worst cab company ever!!! Their cars are very dirty and often smelly I had to just stop taking the cab because of them. Thank God Uber/Lyft existed!!! DO NOT TAKE THE RED CAB THEY STINK! read more

I phoned for a taxi an hour earlier. The taxi came with 10 minutes delay (I wonder how much earlier I had to call them) and this made me really nervous as I had to be at work on time. There was no cab sign on it and I was wondering if this was my taxi or not. The driver was polite. However, he didn't have a normal gps but he had an application on his cell phone which he was holding on his lap, so he had to look down all the time, not paying attention to what was happening around him. We avoided a crash with a WRTA bus, just for seconds. read more

WORST SERVICE EVER!!!! they are so rude!! I called and waited for 30 min. no one showed up. called back and the guy goes "you did not call before. you lie" and hung up on me....like wtf!! read more

DO NOT USE RED CAB!!! I waited an hour and gave my name to make sure they picked me up. Every time I called (3 times), they said they were going to get there in a couple minutes. After showing up at the 50 min mark, a random person ran into the cab, and they denied me. They don't care if you have reserved a cab or not... I was so fed up of waiting in the rain that I decided to call Yellow Cab. They arrived in 3 minutes. The Yellow Cab driver and I had a good rant about how much we hated Red Cab. I will only use Yellow Cab from now on! read more

I called for a cab at 10 p.m. while spelling out the street name because it is frequently mistaken the dispatcher said "I know how to spell". I called again at 10:53 to cancel and the dispatcher said "That cab came and went next time pay attention and get it." He then hungup on me. If I happened to miss it while staring out the window they also never honked or call. I will never try this service again. read more

AWFUL! I called for a cab which said they'd be here in 10 mins...45 Mins later they still had not shown up and no call, so I called yellow cab and they were here in 4 mins! Never ever use this cab company, they're the worst!!!!!! read more

The red cab dispatcher who talked to me very rudely on the evening of March 5, 2014 needs to be fired immediately! Here's the conversation that we had: Red cab Dispatcher: Ok buddy, the cab will be there in a couple of minutes. Myself: Thanks! Myself (waited for almost half an hour): When I called, I was told that a cab would come pick me up in a couple of minutes, but I haven't seen a cab for almost half an hour and I'm waiting near a grocery store. Red cab Dispatcher: Don't be stupid buddy, you need to be patient when you call a cab. (rudely disconnects phone....) Myself (I call again and expect an apology, but get more attitude instead): Did you just call me stupid? Red cab Dispatcher: Ok, we are done here buddy, I'm cancelling your cab right now. Go find another cab service. Myself: I can't believe this. The cab driver was really very polite though. Its just that the Red cab management should fire this rude cab DISPATCHER immediately! read more

They kept me waiting for forty minutes in the cold. Cab never came. Missed an appointment I had waited three weeks for. Never using again.

No stars do not call this cab company they never show or it takes them at least an hour to show up. You will call back and the dispatch will say they were there even though you have been outside waiting and not one cab showed. read more

I am a resident at an apartment complex in worcester...I was just sitting out and observed a red cab enter the parking lot and wait about 5 mins. I then seen the driver of the cab open his driver side door and place a handful of trash and beverage bottles out on the pavement in the parking lot and drive off. I was so outraged that i called the taxi company to0 voice my concerns and the dispatcher disconnected me. When I called back they would not answer. This company and its drivers need to smarten up. How dare they use the property where I live as their dumping ground for drivers trash!! read more

Terrible service! I called for a cab and he hung up mid sentence when I asked what time I should expect them. I called right back and his response was "are you serious? When I say right away I mean right away, did you think I meant tomorrow?" I asked him to cancel as I'd rather use another company and his response was "please do- and take your stupidity with you". Incredibly unprofessional and unwarranted!! Just wanted to be able to give my coworkers a heads up as to how late I would be due to car not starting. read more

The cab drivers are usually friendly but the dispatchers are rude and unpleasant. When you call they tell you they will send a cab right over but they won't tell you how long that might be. It could be anywhere between 5 minutes to an hour. If you call back to ask where the cab is or if they forgot about you the dispatcher will respond immediately, indicating that they have no idea and didn't ask the cab itself. No matter how long you've been waiting and how long it will actually take for the cab to arrive, the dispatcher will tell you that they will be there in "just a moment" which could mean another 10-20 minutes. This is the most infuriating thing because you don't want to wait in the freezing cold for 45 minutes but if you're not outside, they will drive away without you. Yellow Cab might be better but they rarely ever answer their phone so it's hard to tell. read more

Junk dont ever call them very unprofessional... Made me late called 4 hours in advance and when it was time for pick up they told me to get lost read more

I always take yellow cab but for some reason there phones were not working, whenever I call yellow cab they come in 7 minutes. But since I couldn't get them I took red cab and as I am writing this I am waiting for my cab to come, it has been almost 2 hours since I called and now I am just completely late and going to miss it. I have called them several times and they said that I am next and that they are coming. They are SO LATE, this is by far the worst cab service I have ever dealt with. read more

I've use this taxi service a handful of times and every time they are punctual, professional, and accommodating. As far as Worcester goes they are really friendly and by far the best taxi company in this city read more
