This is the worst cab I have ever used, and I have lived a bunch of places. Picture this - you use a cab company you have used before, in order to be safe, not drink and drive, etc., etc. When you call them for a ride home, you are informed that you will NOT be picked up because you are, apparently, at a blacklisted bar. You assure the "man" on the other end that you are calling from a personal cell phone which can be reached at any time to assure you are at the pick-up spot (after repeatedly assuring him that you have NO OTHER WAY TO GET HOME and will, in fact, be at the bar whenever they arrive. You have just ordered a beer, and they can take their time. You are, more or less, hung up on. You call back, and are hung up on again - repeatedly - after multiple conversations of varying length - as you attempt to explain your situation, desperation, willingness to pay the TWENTY EIGHT DOLLAR MINIMUM FEE (for a ride from an adjacent town), and state that you shouldn't be punished for the errors of others while you are just trying to get home safely. You mention that you have used them before, and are trying to be a loyal customer...
The response - "Oh, We know you Reilly from Centerfolds - who never paid! (I will admit that the last few words are unclear, but the first part is pretty much verbatim)" - when the real story was that the driver who we patiently waited for and transacted with said "how much you pay to get here?" We said "You'll never believe us, but only 15 bucks." That is the honest truth (GO MILLBURY AUBURN TAXI - YOU ROCK, PATRICK). He said "Uh, OK" and charged 15 bucks (thanks, btw). Long story short, a cell phone misadventure led them to be rude to me THEN!!! And now I am being falsely blamed for that, AND getting hung up on multiple times by a company who, one would think, MAKES A GODDAMN LIVING GIVING PEOPLE RIDES!!!! All for the sake of trying to avoid driving under the influence while TRYING AS HARD AS I POSSIBLY COULD TO GIVE THEM OVER 30 OF MY VERY HARD EARNED DOLLARS. And I get treated like... well, like no one should be treated.
My bottom line is, eat s#@t, Yellow Cab. You cannot succeed when you act better (and ruder) than your customers. Luckily, RED CAB was able to save the day with prompt and courteous service. I do not work for red cab - in fact I had to get their number from 411 (thanks, btw). But they saved the day, and even charged a little less for the ride from MIllbury to Sutton.

editor's note: I freely admit that I intentionally called them back, after securing a courteous ride;) to tell this "man" that he was "a f&%king a$#hole, merry f^%king Christmas. I have secured another safe ride from a better cab company." Guess what? He hung up at "...%king".
Post script: I sincerely wish I could give them a 0 star rating, but I can't. In my mind, however... read more
