If you're a regular climber and have the endurance to make several climbs in a night, then it's probably worth it for you. I usually only end up doing a few climbs before my hands get tired, or before I hurt my neck looking down. That being said, they offer shoe and harness rentals for an additional cost, and they do have membership options. There is also a summer camp/break camp offered for kids. I know they've offered weekend yoga in the past but not sure if that's still applicable. And in addition to standard climbing, there are a few auto belay climbs and a high ropes course as well. The best part about coming here is the owner's dog, Daisy, freely roams and hangs out.

Management is great and the climbing problems are varied to the point where you simply won't find a local gym with the diversity of climbing challenges that CRG offers. They have been great to climb at during COVID and feel safe doing so with mask-mandates and other procedures. They have done away with the enforced timeslot reservations, but they worked well during the height of the pandemic to ensure capacity was kept low. If you're looking for a gym, CRG not only has climbing but a separate facility and room with treadmill, weights and a yoga room as well. The classes are free for members. I usually just come here to climb, but will occasionally run or bike using their gym facilities. I usually get here at least once or twice a week and this is a great place to help get you through a Buffalo-winter.

Super friendly staff and there's a local community feel to the gym, which is a huge draw. Also, they have a ping pong table, and a stretching/fitness area upstairs with 2 power racks, a fan bike, and a Tension board (if you're looking to mix things up) There's free gravel parking, and plenty of space (unlike Collegetown...)

Drive me nuts that kids events don't start until like 10 so was so excited that Cayuga Clinbs Toddler Time is from 8:30 to 9:45 it's the perfect time for a kids activity. The space is great for letting kids runaround and try climbing. My daughter love finding the cow on top of one of the climbing wall every time we go. Sorry if no one else has found it since she doesn't let go of it easily once she finds it. It's reasonably priced $15 per toddler and you don't have to pay for the adults like you would a children's museum but you do have to watch your own kids. My twins get so excited to go, seriously one of the best events for toddlers in the area. Typically twice a month on Sundays but it does not have a consistent schedule so again get on the mailing list so you're informed when the next event will take place.
