They were both very courteous and paused to explain why certain aspects of the home were a cause for concern and identified possible mold and asbestos very quickly. We were very impressed with their professionalism and their determination to inspect every aspect of the home, including the crawl space. The thoroughness of their report definitely saved us from making a poor investment since we were then able to use the report to negotiate and acquire further estimates to make an informed decision. We will absolutely use them again in the future and strongly recommend their services.

Bob made sure he talked us through his recommendations of what could be an issue, how to proactively address it when we move in, and helped break things down in layman's terms for us. He didn't leave any stone unturned. Even when the seller and their agent were rude and trying to rush Bob through the process, he let them know, he was going to take as long as necessary to do a thorough inspection. Just to name a few things he did that stood out to me: checking every electrical socket, noticing that since they were older- they didn't have a GFCI protector for us, air filters, screen doors, electric panel, doors and cabinets opening and closing properly! He even realized on the electrical panel that there was a garbage disposal for the sink that the seller decided to deactivate and no longer use. So now we know we have the option to install that if we would like! If you are looking for someone to rush through the inspection, go elsewhere. He will take the time necessary to do a thorough job. I highly recommended Bob and his team and will use him again in the future.

He showed up as scheduled and without wasting any time, he went straight to work. He used this handheld machine and tested different random painted areas. There was no need for me to follow him around and I just went on to do some work while waiting. He finished after about two hours plus. There was no moving of furniture needed on my part, or at least he did not ask me to. It was done just about the length of time he had advised me of. I received the paperwork and the report afterward via email. It was very detail and exactly what I needed. He was easy to work with. I found him to be both knowledgeable, thorough and professional. His fee seemed reasonable which was of similar rate as other contractors I had talked to before. I would certainly recommend him for the lead paint inspection. In my case, Parisen Associates saved my bottom...and over $470,000...on a purchase I almost made. I came across a deal that I honestly thought was a great one. The building looked great, freshly painted and renovated. Nice upscale kitchen and bathroom remodeling, etc. The house was like something out of a TV commercial, if you know what I mean. The neighborhood was a good one and everything about it seemed like a go to me. I was excited about this purchase. I hired Parisen Associates because I felt it was just part of the process, not thinking anything was wrong. Well, Dave Parisen showed up...on time...which is great to see for starters. He did a thorough inspection and spotted foundation damage that had been hidden (to my amateur eyes, anyway). I'm talking damage that would have cost me the better part of my savings to fix. Not sure why this damage hadn't been fixed by the owners before the sale...maybe they just ran out of money investing in upscale kitchen appliances, who knows. There were other things wrong with the building as well, mostly annoying electrical things that could have been a hazard, let alone expensive to fix (I'm not much of a handy person and hire out most of my work). Parisen's report was thorough and down-to-earth. All in all, while I was really depressed about my failed purchase, I am grateful Parisen Associates discovered the hidden problems before it was too late. It could have been a disaster. I really recommend these folks and will use their service again when my new perfect house comes along.

His estimate was very detailed and he included photos showing exactly where he would provide the soft washing. We worked with Jeff Struck on a new siding job for our home. After meeting with many companies, we…read morechose Jeff not because he was the cheapest, which he wasn't, he also wasn't the most expensive, but for the simple fact that he was down to earth. We felt an immediate connection with him. The project took longer than expected. Jeff felt the need to work 3hrs on one of the last warmer days, just days prior to Thanksgiving to play golf. Personally, I would have thought working longer on a warmer day would be something you would want to get the job done. However, we accepted this behavior as it really had no impact on us. Upon completion of the project, Jeff stated how he is always available, stands true to his work and if there were any issues he would come back. I guess that stands true until there is actually an issue. His clean up around the property was mediocre with a tremendous amount of visible nails on my patio. He damaged a new piece of trim when removing my front railing and said it would come out. However it's plastic and legit damaged. Not scuffed. The piece needs to be replaced. My husband noticed a gap between one of the sides of the house and the roof. The trim around our front bay window is all dented and does not look complete or new for that matter. All the white soffits and trim around garage doors and windows are literally black from the dirt from their hands when installing. All of which Jeff said upon completion they go and clean it all. We even had coffee drip marks from when they were on the scaffold all over the new trim above the garage doors. Clearly the cleaning process was skipped. Even with these concerns, the worst part about it all was Jeffs lack of communication and attitude when these concerns were addressed. Not once did he pick up the phone to call my husband or I, everything was communicated via text. At one point he mentioned that these were nothing concerns and he honestly feels his work at our home was done. He mentioned that he went above and beyond with something outside of what we hired him for, however at the time never brought it up or said there would be an additional charge, which if so we would have paid. He removed a wall air conditioner so that we can side over the hole. The exchange of texts actually got very nasty and disrespectful. Not something you would expect when his words stated that he stood by his work and any concerns just call him. The job was completed end of November 2021 and 3 months later, Jeff has continued to ghost us. Our last text was how he wanted to make good on his work and reputation and that he would contact us this past weekend. We gave him the benefit of the doubt and not a word, hence for this review. Overall the house looks good, minus the front bay window and front trim by the front door. So upsetting that it has to be in the front Of the house. This review was about the kind of person Jeff is, not necessarily about the work. Stuff happens, we are all human. Just own up to it, fix it and be done with it. This was a huge project for us and Jeffs attitude has taken away from us enjoying what we just spent thousands of dollars on. Personally, I would never hire someone like Jeff to work on anything for you.

After a botched temporary fix with a different roofer who overcharged us and a bunch of other roofing company quotes after that, we were lucky enough to finally come across Al Struck. To be honest, I had all but given up and was ready for the runaround, but something about Al was different. He called me and was so kind and really listened to me about my roof issue. He constantly followed up with me, explained every step of the process to me, and always showed up/called when he said he would. He also offered the fairest price out of all the quotes we've gotten. As a young couple in our first home, he could've easily taken advantage of us, but he didn't and you just know he's a good guy - as the owner of a company but also as a person. Al Struck scheduled us as soon as the weather was good enough to go, and his crew got to work right away. Al was on site to watch over everything and kept us updated throughout the process. Both Al and his crew were extremely professional and efficient and our roof came out amazing! Even the post cleanup was very detailed and we were so impressed and are extremely grateful. We ended up having a leak again, but it was due to an unrelated issue with the chimney rather than the roof - and yet when I called Al, he had someone come out right the next morning to help fix it for free. And then followed up with me to see if everything was going ok. This is truly so rare nowadays. Thank you so much, Al!

He is not afraid to tell a realtor to quiet down or get out of the way, he will spend as much time as it takes to thoroughly inspect every inch of the property so you know exactly what you're walking into. He even flagged a massive dead tree we hadn't noticed, which turned out to be hollow and dangerous -- something that would've cost us $10,000 to remove. That alone could have become a huge liability down the line. His narrative report was detailed, easy to follow, and full of photos so there's no confusion about what was found.
