Fixed a bad wire and adjusted the headlights to the right height. I asked how much and they said no charge just remember us if you need us in the future. Sure it was a relatively quick little job for a pro but still. Wow! Well six months later I needed them. My nice car got a dent left front. It was fixed ahead of schedule at a fair price. The work was professional and even with my picky eye I couldn't tell they had even touched it. Highly recommend.

The tech arrived on time and had everything that he needed for the job. When he finished, the car looked like new--no really--like new! Now at this point I need to point out that I have a yellow Labrador retriever (cute, but lots of fur) and my carpet is dark grey. When I tell you that he got all of the fur out--I mean he got all of the fur out of that car!! Everything was sparkling and clean, every crevice inside and out. The leather seats were reconditioned and the carpets were deep cleaned. No fur, dust or crumbs were to be found anywhere. Here is the part that really showed their attention to detail--I had an aftermarket dash cam installed and the part in the back window made the trim poke out around the lift gate window. I have pushed it back myself a hundred times and it just popped back out. Gladiator got it back in so that it stayed and looked perfect, without my even asking. They just did everything possible to make the car look perfect. And the price was nice. I will definitely use their services again.

I had them do an oil change on my 1973 Mercury Cougar and was told I needed an oil pan because the…read moreexisting pan was rusty and leaking, they found one online for over $600.00 so I found my own from West Coast Classic Cougar for $ 85.00. was charged $884.83 to replace a part that had at most 10 bolts to swap out. It was a simple swap nothing from the suspension needed to be removed, so I am perplexed about the inflated labor cost. I would strongly advise anyone with a classic vehicle to avoid this shop at all "cost" I received a call from Steve explaing the high labor cost to do the oil-pan swap and in the beginning he did inform me that his labor cost books did not go back that far for a 53 year old vehicle so in all fairness I googled the process of replacing said oil-pan and found out that the motor did need to be raised to allow room to make the swap. Steve did explain this to me but when I said that was his opinion boy did his demeanor change and as others have commented he did get rude. so I am amending my review to be fair to the shop; but I still would not recomend this shop for classic car repair. It is sad that it is very difficult to find a reputable repair shop in Springfield for classic cars.

There was even a ceramic? coating on the outside that he told me to picture I don't wash for 3 days so that it can harden. That will be good for one year of protection. Notes: There is no waiting room. Dan is down to earth. He doesn't always remember to turn off the Open light. Better to just call and leave a message to make an appointment.

Terrible parking situation out there and I had to go around a maze just to find where to park and…read morethere was really never nowhere to park, I just had to situate myself in front and hope I would be OK out there. I was on time maybe a little early and the gal that was behind the counter said that all her techs were out to lunch so I continued to wait until one came back and he took care of me right away. Took it for a little spin to find out what was wrong with it and then brought it back. There was one other customer came by so I told him I would have to think about it because it was gonna cost a little over $1000 to get whatever part they had to send away for and I had to be certain this is what I wanted because he didn't wanna have to keep it there if I wasn't going to come and get it installed. After he was done with me, he went to wait on the other customer and as I was leaving, I thought how the heck am I gonna get out because she was on the other side of me and she stood in front of the door, so it was a very tight Exit/entrance and a little bit dangerous but I made it however I wouldn't ever wanna do that again. No one ever did come back like the techs from lunch to work on cars. I didn't see anyone there except the one guy that came back from lunch and then the one guy that was already there and that's all that was there for the remaining time that I was there. I didn't know what to do because I thought that was a bit much so I went ahead and told them I would have to think about it. The older guy gave me a card and said he needed $169 or something like that for alignment of the tires. I'm not sure what that is, but it was better than the thousand dollars for whatever they were gonna do just so I could have my power steering back which might have put everything else back into place so the control panel is still off. And this was my second estimate/opinion. I don't know, but I thought you know I would come back if I could save up some money and he said I need to come back right away because something was just spinning around many times per day just to make my car work. I can't see that happening. I barely go anywhere and when I do, it drives fine, but I am appreciative of the alignment of the tires or the wheels that he did because I can feel it and it feels better. However, if I'm gonna pay over $1000 for a part that I would have to be sent to him in order for him to do the work, I thought I would just rather buy a new car since he told me it was old. It's a 2017 but the old guy said it's old so cars break down more easily because they're making them less than they used to.
