Anthony of Pest-Force Solutions was the first and hopefully the last person to complete rip me off…read morein m y new home.      It was explained to me that to remove squirrels from our walls they would place cages on the ground and a rag in the hole in our roof. When the rag stops popping out there are no squirrels in the walls. Then, they would place a temporary patch on the roof until I'm able to hire a roofer to have it professionally repaired.      Immediately after the first squirrels were caught we asked them if they would be placing the rag (pre-repair). I was told in writing that he (Anthony) would be there the next day. Then the next. Then the next. This went on for two weeks. My wife and I couldn't understand why they were needlessly catching squirrels and letting them die in the traps rather than just patching the roof. I didn't need someone to kill squirrels. I needed to stop  them from entering my house.     Finally I was told by Anthony that Sal told him not to patch the roof because it wasn't safe. When I talked to Sal he said that Anthony would never agree to patching my roof. Both denied owning the Company and neither would tell me the name of the owner. In hindsight I realize that they never intended to honor their agreement.        I'm embarassed that they took our money, and I'm angry because this wasn't just my money, it was also my wife's money. I still don't yet know if paying in full for an exterminator is the industry standard but please consider where you'll be if weeks later nothing is complete and they refuse to refund your money.

He also put traps down that caught them almost immediately. After two weeks, we saw more (that were likely already inside) and he came back the next day and gave everything a second look under the warranty no problem. He also explained in detail what we could do to prevent having any further mice and explained to our landlord what they needed to do in the future. All of this was way cheaper than other exterminators we saw who put in less than half the effort. Tony is the man and is so good he's caused me to log into yelp for the first time in years to give him a good review. TAD rules.

This summer I thought I would try a new pest control service and called about 5 different companies for quotes and went with TAD because they were the most affordable. Haven't seen a mouse in 8 months! I am so relieved and happy that we found them. The technician who came to our house was communicative and helpful. I will definitely call them in the future for any pest control needs.

I chose to work with Davis Pest Control because he was local, friendly, and offered a very…read morereasonable rate to exterminate my small studio apartment. I began to have my doubts as soon as he got to work - He didn't do much of an inspection of my bed, and simply sprayed the thing with a run-of-the mill insecticide canister you can buy at any hardware store. OK, I thought...maybe this is just how it's done. I figured I'd leave the apartment and let him finish up, and asked him specifically to spray inside the cabinets beneath my sink (crazy, I know, but I had actually discovered a dead bed bug in there. My apartment is small and I wasn't gonna take any chances). When I returned we chatted a bit about the bugs, and I had told him how I think I may have gotten them (but you can't ever be too sure because its NYC. You can pick them up even in the subway). Once he left, I decided that I wasn't going to de-bag any of my clothes or possessions, but instead put on a (laundered) bed sheet and spend the night). It appeared that he had done a great deal of spraying around my bed, but didn't spray beneath the sink like I had asked About three days later I started noticing bites. Fortunately my apartment was still prepped, so I called Davis to ask for a follow up, he said that it would cost me an additional $100.00 per follow up. This is absurd, since exterminators should always include follow ups. If they don't mention it, be sure to ask! I then called my landlord who agreed that I had probably just been scammed, and they called Davis. Davis then told them what I had told him about how I thought I had gotten the bugs, and about how he believed I may have brought them back. Talk about petty? Long story short, I had to get another exterminator. They offered me a similar price and offered to come back three times free of charge. I ended up tossing my bed frame and a wooden desk chair, both of which Davis sprayed and said I wouldn't have to throw away. This other exterminator also found two bugs under my SINK and said that I'd have been looking at a real infestation had I waited any longer. Do NOT use this guy. He's personable at first, but a F R A U D. To Davis Pest Control: If I could give you zero stars I definitely would.

He filled the holes and told us that mices won't come back anymore. He placed two bait stations and left us some sticky traps. After two monthly, we discovered mices again, and more this time. We inspected the place ourselves and found holes on the wall, behind the refrigerator, and behind the kitchen cabinets and the walls. The technician of Queens Pest Control missed all these holes. He stayed in our place for only around 15 mins and did not move our furnitures and appliances to check thoroughly. Two months were gone, and due to the non-professional service, the mice problem gets into a haunting one -- mice infestation.
