I am sharing this experience now with clarity and purpose, to hold this business accountable &…read moreprotect future clients from harm. In 2021, I received a chemical peel at this med spa that resulted in a SEVERE chemical burn to my back. The peel was performed by a front desk receptionist who was "in training," not a licensed or certified aesthetic provider. I later learned this occurred because no qualified provider was available at the time, and rather than rescheduling the service, the treatment was performed anyway. I was not informed that the individual performing the treatment was unlicensed, nor was appropriate supervision or medical oversight provided. The result was significant skin injury--second degree burns, as shown in photos taken during my visit at the BURN UNIT. This was not a post-chemical peel reaction -- it was a chemical burn. At the time, I did not fully understand the seriousness of what had occurred. As a nurse working in the field of aesthetics today, I now clearly recognize this as negligence and a breakdown in management, supervision, and patient safety standards. To this day, I'm still baffled by how this was handled afterwards. Beyond the physical injury, the lack of accountability and concern from management/owner during my recovery was deeply upsetting and added to the emotional toll of an already traumatic experience. DO NOT BOOK HERE if you value your skin. DO NOT BOOK HERE is you value your safety. & DO NOT BOOK HERE if you value proper medical oversight.

I have had plenty of moles excised at Derm offices, and have had near fainting experiences just about every time. However this was not the case with my visit to Dr. Adera. When I inquired about the cost as someone who had tried cool sculpting in the past, when you paid…read moreper cycle, I was told by the sales person who sold me the service that the policy had changed and that cool sculpting was much more cost effective now a days. I was told that you pay by area (my area was the flanks) and you get whatever number of cycles are needed to achieve your goal. I paid over $1500 for two trips to their office (two one hour sessions) to cool sculpt my flanks and on the day of my third scheduled appointment, I received a call, five hours before that appointment, informing me that I needed to pay for more of what they are again calling cycles to continue with the treatment. I have seen very little, if any, reduction of fat in my flanks In a nutshell, I paid $1537.04 for two hours of, at this point, ineffective coolsculpting on my flanks (love handles). Update: Ideal Image contacted me in response to my Yelp and BBB review and requested that I contact them to try and resolve my issue. I called this company today and they made no effort whatsoever to resolve this matter. They simply parroted over and over that you pay per cycle and that the number of sessions for coolsculpting on the flanks is limited to two sessions, in defiance of the fact that the selling point for me and what the sales person communicated to me, which was the only condition stated by the sales person to convince me to try cool sculpting a second time, is that you pay per area and that you get whatever number of sessions are needed per area of concern to reach your goal. Update2: I received a call from Lindsey who informed me that the person who I spoke with earlier that day misspoke. She assured me that I would get a third session and that they would reevaluate me at that appointment to determine how many sessions I would need after that session to reach my goal. She apologized and assured me that Ideal Image would honor the promise made to me by the sales person who sold me on coolsculpting. I am very happy that Ideal Image stepped up to honor their promise made to me and I am very impressed with the level of care and professionalism that I experienced with Lindsey.

It's a simple fact of bait and switch. Why would they tell me I could have the cool sculpting have me pay for it in full and then tell me I wasn't eligible for it! This business is purely predatory.

As well as the continued consistently positive experiences I have every time I come in for a treatment!! The space itself is very clean and has a calming energy, everyone who works there is extremely nice and happy to answer any questions you may have! When I went in for my consultation I really connected with the manager, Olivia (I'm not sure if she's there anymore but she was super kind and answered my extensive list of questions). The consultation was super chill, we went over pricing, treatment plans, etc. I wasn't ready to make a decision that day so we planned for a follow up phone call the next week. I really appreciated that they weren't pressuring me into making a decision! I think my consult may have been on the chiller side in part because I had received laser hair removal a decade ago in a different city, so I did have some idea of what to expect. Anyway! I was already pretty convinced I wanted to go with Milan because of the lifetime guarantee (as someone who had laser done years ago and needed more treatments- you may be able to understand why that'd be appealing) and after the consult, seeing my payment options broken down, etc. I was convinced! I've now seen 3 different laser hair technicians and all have been incredibly kind and patient (obviously it's a very painful and uncomfortable thing, so it's really important you feel as comfortable as possible with the person zapping a laser at you), so am very appreciative of that! Also really communicative in explaining how the laser works, when changes are being made to the settings as my treatments progress etc., so I can understand what's going on as well, which I really appreciate! Milan laser is also really accommodating about scheduling issues, rescheduling, etc which is super nice! Overall I think Milan offers the best possible experience for laser hair removal treatment ! It is expensive but it's one payment and then you have access to treatment for life so it really is worth it, in my opinion. Loving my results so far and really excited to be on this hair-free journey!
