Three things were done incorrectly. 1. No preparation was made to the skin prior to the surgery. No scrub or alcohol, etcetera. 2. Due to the lack of preparation, the steri strips did not adhere to my skin. 3. The technician failed to use a large enough clear cover over the steri strips, so when the steri strips detached, so did the covering. See attached image. I had to find a lot of specialists on my own when we moved to Ocala because I was not familiar with the area and I did not know anyone to provide recommendations. I originally made my first appointment at the Jasmine Park location due to availability. I started coming to Deerwood because it is closest to my house and at the time, they provided Dermaplaning services. I have been coming to see Lacy monthly for Dermaplaning for over a year and I adore her. Initially, I had my first Dermaplaning service with someone else (maybe Brenda?) but I am so glad she was no longer available and I somehow wound up with Lacy. Lacy has paid attention to details on my skin during our visits and also gives me accurate treatment care for in between services. I have come once for my annual skin check here in 2023 and saw Brooklyn. She was great and answered any questions I had, as well as giving me recommendations. I am coming up on my annual skin check so fingers crossed! Everyone here is extremely professional. The office is always clean. Even the waiting room is super cozy! There is coffee, soda, water, and juice boxes as refreshments. Such a nice touch.
