Dr. Steadmon was thorough, professional, personable and exceptional. Today, I had the privilege of an exam performed by Dr. Cheng, who recently joined the practice. I was equally impressed with her competence, knowledge and skill. Everyone I have encountered at this practice has been exceptional. The front desk staff is kind, caring and efficient. The personnel actually answer their telephone and speak with you. If you can't get scheduled as quickly as you'd like and you elect to be added to the wait list for a cancellation, they call you if one occurs. I know this because they called me when someone cancelled and I was able to be seen weeks earlier than anticipated. Ocala is fortunate to have Ocala Dermatology. This isn't an office with a shingle hung displaying a Dr.'s name and filled with P.A.'s. You will ALWAYS be seen by a medical doctor at THIS practice. Our experience, to date, is with the two doctors named above. Both are excellent! If you are seeking a skilled dermatologist in Ocala, I highly recommend this practice.

I booked a month in advance for 2:30pm and the treatment didn't actually start until 4:00pm. I had asked when I got there how long it will take because I had to pick up my son at 4pm and they said I would have more than enough time. (I left at 5:30pm and had to call someone to pick my son up) Prior to all that, I was called into a room by Dr. Arviv with 3 other girls making it super awkward for me, telling me that the laser wouldn't be right for me and suggested other options that were in the range of 4K-8k. Bait and switch at its finest. I told her that was not in my budget and her attitude completely changed and made me feel bad for not being able to afford that and asked "well then what is in your budget?" I told her what I came here for, which was the laser that I had already paid and Dysport. I asked if I can just get a refund for what I already paid and she said no, and that she would then have to charge me a consult fee even though their promotion states free consultations. Then she said I could use the money towards any other service. She put me on the spot and then said they can do the micro-needling (which was what I initially asked for). Then when speaking about the Dysport she said I would need at least 50 units (which I've done less before) but went along with her to not piss her off even more since she was the one about to poke my face. The girl who did the micro-needling was super sweet and the receptionist as well. I even expressed my concern to her about that interaction stating it felt like Dr. Arviv was about to throw punches at me and she joked saying "it's the Israeli in her" I don't care where you're from, you don't treat a new customer like that. I regret getting the Dysport done by someone that already felt some type of way about me. It's been two weeks and my forehead lines are even worse than they were before. I've had people comment on my lines saying they look worse than ever and I don't even know how that is possible but maybe was done on purpose. I have done less units and have had way better results within 3 days. I reached out to them and they offered to add more but would you really go back to a place where they treated you poorly and will probably be pissed that I'm coming back to get something fixed? Not to mention it was the most painful Dysport experience and I've been doing this for a while now. Something didn't feel right. I asked for a refund and of course they said no. So I wasted money going here and had the worst experience at this place and now will have to spend more money to fix it with someone who actually knows what they're doing. Do not let good reviews fool you. All their Facebook reviews are fake scammers talking about bitcoin and nothing to do with Arviv. I've included a picture I took before I got the Dysport done and two weeks after. Trust me, go elsewhere.

I called the office and was asked if I saved the receipt and to just come in with it for a refund. Went back the following day and was immediately told no refunds. I insisted on talking to the office manager. Told No Refunds. The box was never even opened and I was told I could bring it back. Shame on them for charging a senior citizen such an exorbitant price. Dr. Williams did mention Good Rx. When it was offered to me at the front desk I had sticker shock buy didn't realize there would be such a substantial price difference. A few dollars more would not have made a difference. But $50!!! My first time at this office. Won't be going back once this problem is treated.

Instead of getting what I needed to apply for assistance I had to do it. When I did bring it the Suncoast Skin Solutions, the receptionist scan it in my file and the APRN was going to fill it out. Weeks went by without a word. Apparently whoever was to make sure it was done Didn't get it done. Now lost forms....brought more in weeks went by....Due to the phone system they have the only live person you can talk to is the initial new patient appointments; which sends you to voice mail. Never a call back there. So although I like the APRN the system is broken. Going somewhere there is a more personalized atmosphere.
