We removed an old wall and created a kitchen island to open up our space, set up a custom coffee bar, and fully ripped out all old finishings/etc! They were able to match the old arches of our 1927 to bring the character into our modern kitchen that we love about our house. They were extremely communicative about any changes, challenges, or delays. We even went on a long vacation during the project and we felt completely at ease knowing they were progressing on the kitchen while we were away. We recently brought Sadie, Medardo, and Gerardo back in for some plumbing, drywall, and electrical upgrades that became a bit of an upstairs project. These things did come up during our project but I was put at ease because they would proactively communicate what was going on and gave us the opportunity to make a decision on how to move forward. Communication is so important and they are great at it. It is RARE to have such a good experience with a contractor - do yourself a favor and hire them.

My mother contacted them to have her bathtub insert replaced with a walk in shower insert. Simple, right? We had some examples from Home Depot for $1500-$2500 (minus labor). The rebath sales rep came out and truly attempted to hard sell my 80 year old mother in spending 16k to replace her shower. Just. The. Shower. Thankfully I was there for the pitch and promptly kicked her out after she told me it couldn't be done for less, that I (who's remodeled many homes) didn't know what I was talking about and their " proprietary" material was so far superior to anything found elsewhere. Please. It's fiberglass. They might do decent work, but you can do soooo much more for the money and get a higher quality product. I'm having the shower redone with quartz slab for less than half the price. They're so close to a scam it's offensive. I feel bad for the elderly they prey on who don't have attentive adult children looking out for them.

Funny thing about franchises....there is now a RE-Bath in our region (Everett) so our warranty claims are going through our local office. It is shocking not only how shoddy the work was the first time, but the service is the worst I have experienced. Multiple promises of calls back, 2 literal house appointments missed, lies about waiting for materials and even tracking numbers that were not true. I have talked to 3 people at the Everett branch including the receptionist, the scheduler and all the way up the owner; my husband has talked with 2 more and we have gotten no where. It is truly the most unprofessional organization. This company does not stand behind their work, they obviously do not vet their franchise owners and I cannot warn you enough to use a different company. You will not be able to trust the work or the support for a very important room in the house.

They basically strung me along and wasted my time. How unprofessional and disrespectful! If they couldn't or didn't want to do the job, why didn't they just say so? I'm really disillusioned. We had a quote by Finecraft. When they arrived, they were very personable and kind. We felt at…read moreease with them, and it seemed they knew what they were talking about. At that meeting, we were told we needed to install flooring under the cabinets. After speaking with a contracting friend and two other companies, everyone said that was incorrect. This led me to doubt their professional knowledge and expertise. After the initial meeting, everything started going by the wayside. They missed appointments, were hard to get a hold of, and changed their story. We went from picking out materials to needing another appointment for the contractor to see the home. During the second appointment for measuring and seeing the home, they "measured" by measuring at an extreme angle. The contractor, in charge of demolishing our kitchen, demonstrated no knowledge in how to properly measure (it was NOT an area needing an angle to measure). That was concerning. They also didn't know the business hours of their own vendors. When we decided not to continue with FC Construction, they were honorable in giving us a refund. But when we called to remind them, the owner told us the refund was in the process. The next day, the main company line called and asked for our refund information to issue a refund. So it being "processing" was a lie. I didn't trust them to start any work, so I have no idea how their work is. But I wouldn't recommend based on the many red flags mentioned above. Kind people, though.
