The items range from candles to jewelry to blankets to hair clips... and it's all great curated pieces. This trip I bought a lovely pair of earrings, an incredible room spray I can't even explain the gorgeous scent of, and a little gift for my friend. Yes, the items are pricey which is simply because they are from local artists, jewelers, creators. But you are supporting LOCAL which I am all about. Say no to big box! :)

Going to Fused has now become a lovely tradition for us, and our families and friends alike. Both to create, but even more so to watch and hear Tony's engaging knowledge of his artisan craft, (and intuitive patience for the young ones!), that reflects and inspires both the children (and adults!) long after we leave. His enthusiasm for his craft is a reminder to us all that art is such a personal experience, and one to inspire and appreciate. Tony's studio creations and requisitioned commissions stand alone for a reason to visit the gallery, and also for the local glassmakers from the area who's works surround this ethereal studio, is one you'll not want to miss!

When reaching for the door handle I said to my husband, "Get ready, I bet this place smells like my grandma's house." No. It smells like tide pods and dryer sheets. All of the clothes smell freshly laundered. How do they do it? I'm not sure, but about half of the store is clothing and they are all nice and clean, so they must sort through their items pretty intensely before putting them out for sale. The prices were decent, and while I didn't find any special treasures to take home, I would definitely stop by again the next time I'm in Leavenworth.

My wife, mother in law and I were window shopping Sunday night after hours and I saw a T-shirt that I liked. Not my normal kind of store but definitely my kind of shirt. Next day we all were shopping and went back to find the tee and were sadly unable too locate any in the store. Enter AWESOME employee. She helped me look all over the store, then she went looking through the computer to see if there were any in inventory, found there was some but still couldn't locate them. I said thank you for the extra effort and it just wasn't meant too be. We left the boutique and carried on with the shopping. Bummed but commenting how hard she tried as we went. Several stores away, up a hill and just after rounding a corner appeared AWESOME employee, calling after me had chased me down to say that she had found the excellent T-shirt in multiple sizes if I was still interested. Of course I am interested and follow her all the way back to the store and purchased the shirt. Should have bought all of them for her effort. Thank you, thank you. Manager of this boutique please reward her in any way you can. Possibly her name was Summer? Including a pic of tee for reference.
