Today my daughter and I went to donate clothing to Value Village and a full sized boxed truck from Treasures in Heaven was in line in front of us. Once they pulled up to the unloading area it and started to unload in became apparent this was a loaded full box truck, unloading for well over 30 minutes while cars piled up in line and the driver and passenger did very little to assist in the unloading process while the entire VV team worked their butts off. I doubt the fact people are donating to this Christian organization and simply having it turned over to Value Village is what people donating are hoping for. This is also incredibly rude behavior on behalf of Treasures as the line is nearly out of the parking lot, people are abandoning the line foregoing donating. Many of the boxes are taped shut so the VV workers have to open them prior to accepting them slowing the process further. Treasures is dumping their unwanted inventory at the Issaquah Value Village, holding up the line, hogging up the employees and inconveniencing dozens of people simply trying to do a nice thing. I'm writing this review because I find this behavior extremely unbecoming of Treasures and likely deceptive to those donating there, furthermore it is inconsiderate on multiple levels.

The store offers space on consignment to others. Each space is it's own little 'shop' and each item tagged with the price and vendor number. There's a lot of charming items here for your home. Bellevue Consignment is located in the old Sports Authority store on Bellevue Way. When we visited on a Sunday afternoon, we didn't see any cars in the lot outside the front entrance and you can't see through the windows, so we were unsure if it was even open. However, it was. The store is spacious and huge, with all the furniture organized with similar items grouped together, so was easy to navigate around, especially since we were specifically looking for something. The store has a lot of different styles of furniture, including midcentury modern pieces that I'm a fan of. But if you're looking to save money, this is not the place for that. A lot of what they offer here are one of a kind and unique, so expect a hefty price tag attached. It's worth a gander if you're looking for something to add to your home.

But I never buy luxury items to just look at them so most of my stuff doesn't make the cut. They have rooms of clothes people are trying to sell so you can't take it personally. It's shocking that plenty of ladies around here do bring in Burberry coats, Uggs, Tory Burch outfits, Jimmy Choo heels that are brand new. In addition to adding designer items to my wardrobe, This store exposes me to non-mall brands. They have an eye for fashion and the dresses I get complimented most on are from here.

Customers are encouraged to linger, ask questions, explore, and enjoy the snacks. We never felt pressured to buy a thing. We ended up having a wonderful and lengthy conversation with Paul, the manager, which made the visit even better! It was just a seriously nice day - it made me happy. I rarely feel that way when shopping! Although I suppose price is always in the eye of the beholder, we felt their prices were completely fair given the workmanship of the pieces. They know what they're doing. We returned the next day to buy a few beautiful pieces we're thrilled with, and felt like we'd gotten a really good deal and enjoyed ourselves in the process. They delivered them in perfect condition the following day. What more could one possibly want? I went on a holiday where the parking lot was packed with street parking full as well. I didn't see people with loads of things they were buying. For instance, an older genuine leather credit card and checkbook holder (I.e. not a complete wallet) was priced at $20. Used David's Bridal formals at $60-$80. Keep in mind that any used formal will need to be cleaned before wearing, which adds to the price of buying a used dress. David's Bridal sells bridesmaids dresses with two different webpages on their website. Dresses under $100 and Dresses under $70. I drove to this store specifically because I'd heard they had quality things at good prices and my daughter was hoping to find a formal dress. While I did find most of their books reasonably priced, I won't take the time to go back.
