I stopped in on a recent trip to the Gatlinburg area, because I was hoping to find more Pfaltzgraff items. Unfortunately, they did not have many Pfaltzgraff items to choose from, and the ones there were extremely overpriced. I don't mean like $2-$5 over, I'm talking 2-3 times what the item is truly valued at, and these weren't rare pieces at all. Not only that, but the entire inside of the place was on the dim side and dirty or dusty. The worst was gathering about $200+ of sub-par merchandise and getting up to the register where a "new" employee was, to have her tell us that their credit card system was down and we'd need to pay cash, even though they have a sign on their front door indicating they take credit and debit cards. It just seemed VERY sketchy and like she pulled a switch bait on us because she didn't mention that issue when we first walked in, and didn't warn any other customers either. She claimed she didn't know how to fix it since she was new, and couldn't get a hold of her boss to fix it, so she took my name and number down to let me know when it would be working again because she wasn't sure how long it would be down for. Funny thing is- she called and texted me within 5 minutes of me leaving the store to tell me she got in touch with her boss who fixed the issue and that I could go pick everything up any time. It felt super sketchy, I didn't like the dishonesty, and I wasn't able to go back anyhow to pick up my items before leaving town again. I don't recommend people spend their hard earned money here, especially if you're looking for "rare" Pfaltzgraff items because you just won't find them here, and they certainly won't be in good condition nor worth their asking price if you do find them here. read more

The owner is extremely rude. I asked about a specific color item and told him my mom was trying to get it to match some existing pieces. He tried to get us to buy a "close enough" color and when I passed he raised his voice and said "Who is going to know the difference?!" Well 1) we will and 2) I wouldn't buy a pack of gum from someone that thinks bullying is the way to get a sale. He and his cantankerous old dog can keep it - there are other stores that sell Fiestaware in the area. read more

I walked in here today to see about finishing up my Fiesta set that I've wanted for a while, and Rosa was extremely sweet and helpful and had me what I needed in less than 5 minutes, she also took care in wrapping my purchases and was just a gem overall and made for a great experience! Stopped in at what we thought was closing time, and were welcomed to come in and look. The owner Bob was great! He turned all the lights back on, turned on the music, and offered lots of help. He even tried to help us get a hotel by calling around. Was lucky to find some much wanted items. We will definitely be back! read more

Apparently, there are enough first time shoppers in Pigeon Forge to keep this owner in business, because it's unlikely anyone would ever stop here twice. We came looking for Fiestaware dishes, but the only thing well stocked in this farce of a store is this jerk's opinion of himself and disdain for his customers. Had I of just read these reviews before making the special trip to his store, I would have been forewarned about his rude, condescending mannerisms. Perhaps he's independently wealthy and doesn't give a damn about what people think, because the reviews show he's been treating his customers badly for a decade. The overall experience was one that made my friend and I certainly not want to spend our money there, my recommendation to you is to not waste your time shopping with this curmudgeon, as it will only put a damper on your visit to Pigeon Forge. read more

I wish I could have given this place negative stars. My husband and I stopped into the store looking to buy a set of dishes. There was no one in the store and we walked around several minutes until a clerk came out from the back room. I asked if everything was priced individually or if they carried sets of dishes. The grumpy old clerk said "if you are looking for a set of dishes then you need to go shop at the Big Lots down the street". I was shocked at his response! He then continued to say and "I would pay someone a lot of money with covid to kiss Trump and give him the virus." I have no idea why he said that? I'm just going to base my review on the sole fact that the owner, Bob, was a major jerk when I called to simply ask what his hours were today. Today, being a Sunday, I felt like it was a simple question due to the fact that the hours weren't listed on google, and we would be driving 7 miles out of our way to go there. He proceeded to call me "honey" and to paraphrase, he said that if I wanted to come in there and work for the next 5 hours, he would let me keep anything I made from selling merchandise. I didn't pick up on the sarcastic joke, but he just kept going on and on with it. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Maybe take a lesson or two in customer service. I would assume that especially in today's world, every customer/purchase would matter. Apparently not to Bob. read more

My experience here was horrible. The owner was extremely rude and argumentative. He became aggressive when I decided to not buy an item and proceeded to curse at me. He was also rude to other people in the store. I noticed his comments caused people to leave the store- losing sales. He needs to learn how to treat a customer with respect. My husband and I were so excited when we saw the huge Fiestaware sign outside. We went inside and were surprised by the high prices, but feel it is understandable due to the collectible items. The owner was actually very nice to us and we had great conversation. HOWEVER: There were some Fiesta tumblers that were displayed and "on sale", so we thought for sure let's stock up. I started to take them off of the shelf and the owner told me to not worry about it, he would get me some from the back that were in a box. He did show me one, but at the time, I didn't notice that it didn't have the "fiesta" at the bottom of the cup. I got home and was taking them out of the box when I noticed the DOLLAR TREE sticker on the bottom of the box. Sure enough, I googled it and the owner bought the cups in bulk from the DOLLAR TREE!!!! WHAT A SCAMMER!!! I can't even believe it! No wonder he didn't want me to take the glasses from the front...and I thought that he was being helpful. Honestly, only terrible people do stuff like that. I love supporting local businesses, but I really hope this man's business fails. I am also going to call corporate at Dollar Tree and speak with them about this man. We went here to look for a plate to replace a broken one. We were greeted by an older man who continued to be disrespectful to us and talk to us like we were stupid. My fiancé and his friend had to walk out of the building before one of them said something to this guy. He continued to be disrespectful and when we asked him about buying a single plate without the mug (we didn't need the mug) he continued to be disrespectful. He didn't let us look around in peace without being bothered or degraded. My fiancé and I went there last year in December and had a great experience when a lady was working there so I was super excited to take my friend there but had I known we were going to be talked to like we were 2 year olds we never would have stepped foot in there. I easily would have spent a lot of money there because I love to add to my fiesta collection however due to this guys piss poor attitude and utmost disrespect to anyone who steps foot in his store I will never go back. He is probably the reason that the parking lot was completely empty. Save yourself the time and go down the parkway towards Pigeon Forge and go to the other fiesta store, I'm sure you won't get treated like shit there. read more

Went into the shop to find a dish that had cracked at home hoping to find it at a cheaper price at a second hand dish store. All of the dishes were overpriced and according to the owner because 'there are no more Pfaltzgraff outlets in the US. Not one! They have been bought out to China and Mexico!" He was rude and aggressive as soon as we walked into the store. At one point he was evening yelling at another person on the phone saying "you screwed me! So I screwed you!" Every question we asked was meet with him arguing with us about the question and him telling us we were whining about the prices. eBay will be a much better option than ever buying from this man ever again. We love Pfaltzgraff products but will never be back to this store. read more

The Rebel Barnes is a really bad excuse for a business! I was so excited when I saw they had discontinued Pflatzgraff items. They advertise on their website being opened Monday through Friday 9:00 am-6:00 pm. We went by a couple times to try and shop and there was always a CLOSED sign on the door! Went next door to the business "Christmas Done Bright" and asked if they knew why they were not opened. The sales person said they had people coming in all the time asking why the Rebel Barn was closed. The clerk said they seem to open and close whenever they want to.
