I was ready to…read moreask for a full refund but John stepped in and offered to redo the patio for free which is why I added a star- took weeks but it did get done. In the end, the project took 6 weeks. For a simple patio, a small dog run and a rock weed barrier. Lucy tried to sneak fees in and without my approval, had her workers rip out 2 of my bushes. After complaining, they replanted them days later but the plants did not survive. They also damaged my drip system (they did fix it after I brought to their attention) also, the workers left trash in the yard. John was kind and understanding but I will continue to tell my neighbors to stay away from them.

Whenever we asked about changes to the project mid-way, they can scope and provide estimates almost right away, unlike other landscape companies who have to send to corporate and wait super long to get an estimate. They have a lot of real experience with these projects and nothing really surprises them anymore. They really spend their time to make sure clients are happy with the end result. Whenever we have multiple design ideas and ask them which looks nicer, you can tell their recommendations are trustworthy. Their pricing is competitive and they use quantity materials from local suppliers. They also work very quickly. It is amazing to see their fast progress. Overall, 10/10 would recommend them to any homeowners looking for professional landscape pros!

They came promptly to repair it and discovered an old irrigation pipe was not properly capped (work done by a different team who dug the trench). The team spent a few hours--at no charge--repairing. We couldn't be happier with the response and quality from LR Landscaping & Pavers. Highly recommend them.

He…read morehappened to be in our area when I called, and was able to set a time just a few hours from when I called to come and have a look. He arrived right on time. He spent a long time discussing our project with us, and what he and his team could do. It was obvious he had a great deal of experience building retaining walls, and knew what had to be done, and how to do it. We happened to mention we needed to repair or replace our flagstone pathway. He doesn't do flagstone itself, but he did suggest a paver that looks just like random flagstones, but has several advantages compared to the real thing. At no time did we ever feel under any pressure to "choose him". He was simply professional, honest, and open with what he could do, and how it would be done. He sent us a detailed bid, breaking out the retaining wall and flagstone-like paver work separately, so we could do one, or both. His price for the retaining wall was in line with other estimates we'd gotten (and the paver pathway seemed reasonable, but we had no comparisons for that). In the end, we decided to go with a different contractor, who could do all the landscaping we are planning on. (Lee's company focuses on hardscapes only.) But if in the future we have a hardscape-only project, Lee will probably be our first call.

We started our backyard renovation and the first phase was to work on our retaining wall. I…read morecontacted numerous contractors and had a few estimates. They were all competitively priced but each had flaws that turned us off. Lack of communication, lack of material presentation, and a lack of interest in our business. Jesse from TLC was recommended by a local material vendor. He came over with the co-owner Charles to my residence. Right off the bat, they were very professional and showed a lot of interest in our business. I shared with them our vision and goals of our project. Keep in mind I only wanted a retaining wall done, but they went the extra mile to show us what they can do for us for our whole project. This was a huge plus for us. Jesse and Charles came up with the numbers. They were priced similarly to my other estimates, but they had an awesome selection of materials that would fit our budget. They also provided a rendered drawing of what the wall would look like. They also included other possible designs that we envisioned for our backyard renovation. TLC really wanted to be part of our whole project. We agreed on the retaining wall project and signed their contract. When they got started with the project, they were very clean and professional. I did have a run-in with our HOA, but the team knew how to communicate with them so they can stay on schedule. Every day they kept their workspace tidy and kept the area safe for my dog to run around the area. At the end of the project, the family was super satisfied with the work and craftsmanship the team put into our property. They were working under 100º degrees in the summer heat. My only complaint was that they should have ended each day earlier because was HOT! They were all hard-working and the team always had a smile on their faces. You can tell they enjoyed working with each other. Our next phase is our pool, Jesse did have a few contractors lined up for us but we ended up using another contractor that fit our needs. After our pool is done. Jesse and TLC will continue renovating our backyard with pavers and landscaping.
