Kitchen before.
Karen C.

We had a great experience working with Joseph and his associates. They are punctual, reliable, fast, and CLEAN. Some unexpected things came up during our remodel, but communication with Joseph was easy and we always found a solution. This company was very reasonably priced and the quote stayed the same. We are very happy with our new kitchen. Will re-hire for future projects!

I am an apartment owner/investor and want to let other apartment owners know about my experience…read morewith Reverence Engineering. Last year, I obtained an inspection of the deck and balcony at my family's 10 unit apartment complex in order to comply with Senate Bill 721. After learning that our cantilevered balcony needed structural work, I began calling engineering firms. I chose Reverence Engineering because I wanted to work with a smaller firm and I was impressed with my initial call with principal engineer Brett Sauers. During that conversation, he explained in simple terms how he would approach creating plans and seeking permits for a major retrofit of our balcony walkway. From there, I was kept well informed by email at every step of the way. Because I live out of state and was not able to be present for any site visits, Brett prepared an explanatory video for me so that I could see exactly what he was seeing and understand how we could solve the structural challenges. The draft plans were ready more quickly than I expected and Brett personally addressed all my questions with patience and precision. The City took longer than I had hoped to do its plan review, but Brett's staff sent me weekly updates. In addition, they walked me through all the forms that I needed to sign so it ended up being a pain-free process from start to finish. I really couldn't be happier with the attentiveness of Brett and his team, as well as the outcome. They deserve accolades for exceptional structural engineering work, at a very reasonable cost.

I have to give Brett the owner some credit here. He was very apologetic, we chatted via email, he said he had a few things to check on and would get back to me in a few days. Im going to assume that his interpretation of a few days is different from the status quo...It's been another month and he won't return my calls and still no follow up email.

He speaks clearly and provides detailed explanations. Trent arrived on time! He willingly, professionally and patiently answered all my questions. He patiently explained things I didn't understand. When I pointed out areas of concern, Trent provided detailed explanations. He did NOT dismiss or downplay any of my concerns. He was very respectful both towards me and my home. Trent is very observant and displays excellent attention to detail. His report was very detailed, yet easy to understand. He provided the final report when he said he would. I highly recommend Trent for any foundation evaluation needs! The level of service he provides is well worth the fee charged!

She did a great job presenting and held her composure even though the client repeatedly said the wrong things at the wrong time. We have continued working with Larson Design. Denise has a great working relationship with the city of San Diego Development Services and knows the majority of the plan checkers by name. In addition, Denise has linked up with MPA Architects and is concurrently working with MPA as a project manager handling the remodel of a large bar on University. I highly recommend contacting Denise at Larson Design or through MPA Architects, which has an even larger staff and an in-house M.E.P. , civil and structural engineers.

They are halfway covered with thin plywood that isnt big enough to cover the hole. There are kids and dogs and older people walking by all day And could easily step in the holes as they are directly next to sidewalk edge. We even said something to the crew and owner and asked to put caution tape up and he gave us a smartass Comment and never did anything. He also had a 9-11 foot cut next to The walkway to backyard and refused to put any caution tape on that. We went and did it ourselves after a week. Beyond these issues the work is ok at best. He is supposed to be an engineer but the project has been shut down for 6 months because he can't engineer a set of front stairs the city will approve. The whole Neighborhood is fed up because hes been here so long. From my experience this guy is a total hack. If you cant follow basic safety principles to protect your client and the public from your work than you are unprofessional at best. I would Not recommend this company after seeing him operate for 6 months.
