As everyone knows remodeling is a long process with many unforeseen twists and turns. It turned out we needed plans drawn up from Miles with structural calculations for the wall removal. Miles took care of that for us in a timely manner and the costs was fair. When we went to the County for our permit we had to make several corrections, nothing to do with the calculations, and Miles made the corrections again within a day and sent us the revisions. A second trip to the County posed more questions and problems that had nothing to do with Miles and the structural calculations. He was very helpful in guiding us to someone to help us. Another trip to the County was more successful but "verbiage" needed to be changed before they could issue the permit. Again Miles was helpful, saw me the same day, fixed the verbiage and then back to the County. Finally we were granted our permit. I can not thank Miles enough for his guidance, help and immediate corrections. Miles found out same day he would be 45 minutes late and he let his assistance contacting me 3 hours in advance so I can plan accordingly. I inquired when I should receive his preliminary report letter and he said in 5 days. On the offered day I received it. Once we decided to proceed with formal plans and drawings needed for the project, Miles said that I should have official plans in approximately 3 weeks from they day when he received the information from my designer. He received the required designer's documents on April 2 and I received the plans on April 22.
