This store has a few tables, has beautiful local artwork posted on the walls, offers a 10% discount on your first visit, and uses healthy bases with real fruit. I was also really excited to discover that they had a vegan pea protein powder free of artificial sweeteners, which I could add to my drink. We ordered two drinks and were really happy with what we received. THE DRINKS: Ginger Snap - My fiancé ordered the ginger snap without spinach and he really enjoyed his drink. It featured apples, banana, mango and ginger and it was full of flavour. It was sweet and tart and definitely a must try! Drunken Monkey with spinach: - I ordered the Drunken Monkey with vegan protein powder and spinach. I found my drink lacked a bit of flavour (they scoop the fruit into the cup before blending and a big chunk of fruit created a big air hole, which I think is the reason my drink lacked flavour) but I was really happy with the whole ingredients used and the added protein powder. The service was a little slow but the employee was really nice and I enjoyed looking at the artwork on the walls. Would We Return? Absolutely because I like the clean ingredients used and the ability to add protein to my drink.

This CoCo location recently opened, and I like it because it's in a strip mall in Nepean, which…read moremeans readily available free parking, as opposed to their first location in Ottawa which is downtown (i.e. paid street parking if you can find it). Anyway, I love the CoCo chain in general because their milk teas are generally strong and creamy. My mom had never been to a CoCo before, and she loves taro, so I brought her there to try out their taro drinks. She got a large fresh taro milk ($5.70) and added tapioca ($0.50), regular sweetness and regular ice. I got a medium 3 Guys Milk Tea ($5.50), 30% sweetness and regular ice. For some reason my drink came in an opaque cup, while my mom's drink came in a clear cup, so hers was much more photogenic than mine. The 3 Guys Milk Tea is milk tea with tapioca, Mesona jelly (aka grass jelly or herbal jelly), and pudding (which is a bit like a cross between flan and pudding). I love lots of toppings in my drinks, so I really enjoyed my drink, but I do feel that this drink is not for everyone. Some people may find the texture of the pudding and jelly to be odd in a drink (it's like really soft jello), and the herbal taste of the grass jelly is less mainstream than toppings like tapioca or coconut jelly. I would probably not recommend this drink for a bubble tea novice, but if you've had lots of bubble tea before, or are familiar with grass jelly and like it, then I would definitely recommend it ;) The tapioca were soft and chewy. The tea didn't taste as strong as I've had at other locations, but it was still very good. 30% sweetness was perfect for me, as I don't like overly sweet drinks. My mom loved her drink. She really liked the real taro layer. A lot of the time, taro drinks are made with artificial taro powder, so she loved the fresh taro. Service was good and the wait time was short. I'm so glad that more bubble tea places are popping up in Ottawa :)

Oh and did I mention that they sell unusual flavoured snacks like Banana Caramel KitKat, Root Beer flavoured Mike & Ike, and Birch Beer Crush?!? They also had Dr Pepper flavoured cotton candy. Mind blown! Lol. I was super tempted my their $1 a cone ice cream, but decided to stick with my original plan of getting some bubble tea. I went with the regular-sized Lychee Milk Tea ($4.99) and added Cherry Agar Pearls (an additional $1). My husband got a Mint Chocolate Milkshake ($6.99). So the freaky thing is that I totally forgot to tell the guy half sweet (my usual customization when I'm trying out a new place), but magically when I got my drink, the sticker said 50% sugar. Woah, he read my mind, lol. So the toppings list said "cherry tapioca" which intrigued me but when I got the drink, it was obviously agar/crystal pearls that were cherry flavoured. This was also a pleasant surprise because I love crystal boba/agar pearls and actually prefer them to tapioca pearls. I loved my drink. The lychee flavour wasn't too pronounced, but it was still tasty and not overly sweet. The agar pearls were chewy and delicious and the quantity was good. I had a sip of my husband's milkshake and it was really tasty, super rich and creamy, and it was aesthetically pleasing as well. Service was easy-going, as I was a bit indecisive at first and then changed my order as the guy was punching it into the cash register (oops, sorry, hehe). He was super nice and if he was annoyed, he didn't show it at all. If I lived in Cornwall, I would be there all the time. They are close to the highway, so I think not only will every Cornwall trip I make involve a stop here, but any trips on the 401 eastbound from Ottawa will also involve a visit to Sip & Scoop, lol. It's in a plaza with lots of free parking.

The drinks were good, but I was disappointed to see they had removed savoury foods and sandwiches from their menu. All in all, I enjoyed my visit.
