Was so excited to try this place out .. came here for some BOBA Tea .. unfortunately it was alright nothing really special .. the staff is very illiterate Boyyy Are we spoiled In Montreal.. Montreal kicks everyone out when it comes to food.. and Bubble tea of course Service wise: They don't communicate with you and don't understand what you ask ... but it's all on your english menu so I was not very happy.. I was also a bit annoyed that they ignored us !! They really didn't care about us .. completely ignored us the whole time .. horrible service They barely paid attention ! Atmosphere: very cute but also very tight and not enough seats .. lots of people and the room was hot I was getting closterphobic ... A lot of people standing in front of me bumping into me so disturbing ! Drink: mmmmehhh I felt the cheese mousse was very sweet and tasted like cheese Cake rather than cheese ... it left a wierd after taste in my mouth we both ordered the classic with cheese mousse mmmeh ok .. I expected more for what I'm paying .. Not much tapioca maybe like 5 -10 balls and it only comes in one size.. 16oz pretty cheap portions for the expensive price (7.14)x2 ... 16$ ... eeek pretty expensive if you ask me The standard size back home's like 20oz and for a large is like 24oz I mean its alright just nothing special really :/ Dont really recommend it

Came here because of the reviews and hype. Location was easy to find on Waze Parking Lots of free parking in the general lot Place Is all white and very simple decor. Simple bubble tea place with limited choices. It's a busy little place with a few regulars. Since we were new we did not feel to welcome. Had the classics with cheese mousse with. For 7 dollars was expecting a bigger portion than 16 ounces. It tasted ok with simple tea flavours and a heavy mouse top. Not much tapioca was given Would I come back I am. It sure yet. Maybe if I was in the neighbourhood but I will not go out of my way.

1st time here to see what they hype is all 'bout.

4 stars out of 5 for: -mainly for the taste of my drink -- I ordered the red grapefruit iced tea with tapioca pearls (if you are not into the tapioca balls / bubble tea, it will still taste great without them); this drink is very refreshing with little sugar and light ice; plenty of fresh cut up fruits (grapefruit and lime) means when you've drank all the contents, just add water and you'll still have some fruit infused drink -this place just opened so the place is still ironing out how things should run - e.g., the frontline staff is still in training on their knowledge of their products -again, this place is new & has a small and narrow interior so expect that it can get crowded in there -the decor - sleek and well curated in white and cold + two rolls of brown wrapping paper mounted on the wall to drawn on (?) -location: not central for my liking but there is a ramen place nearby so perhaps if you venture out in the Nepean area of the city, do those two places together for a super treat -pick up their free loyalty card -- get 10 stamps (10 purchases) = your next drink is free

I love this bubble tea place. They've got their own twist with the cheese cream going on and all for it. I do with the had Uber eats. I tried to download the fantuan delivery app but it's not in English and sooo hard to use. Every time I've gone so far they've given my drink to someone else and I've had to wait twice as long. I'm hopping they get Uber eats soon

cute little shop at the corner of a street. But there are a lot of people visiting there. Nice and cute indoor space. I would love to come again. Thank you for the yummy drink!

CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice

My friend tipped me off about the Canada Day drink, which featured a carnival of toppings. It had…read moretapioca pearls, pudding, grass jelly, coconut jelly, and red bean. When she told me about this special, I had the following day to take advantage of this offer before it disappeared. After a great day shopping, I capped it off by getting a drink from this CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice. Driving over to this location made me cut through a part of Ottawa that I used to spend a lot of time walking around. I used to stay at a hotel at 140 Slater Street and it's still a hotel! I reckon that walking from there to this CoCo would take ten minutes. I parked on Bank Street. It was free parking by the time that I got there after 6 pm, so I was thrilled. If you're there during the daytime, you'll have to pay, which is the only downside to visiting this location. This CoCo is on the northwest corner of Bank Street and Somerset Street West. It looks like a tiny store, but it isn't. It's deep when you walk in. I had the nicest woman help me out. I asked if the Canada Day drink was still available. It was. I got it with less ice. The sugar level was fixed. I paid with a credit card. I tapped and was good. It didn't take long for my drink to be ready. I thanked her and happily headed back to my car. The Canada Day drink is the Three Guys Milk Tea, but two other guys in the form of toppings decided to join in on the fun. I will say that you you love toppings in your bubble tea, this one is for you. One word: hefty! My large cup was a third full of toppings. I thoroughly enjoyed this bubble tea on my birthday. You didn't know what toppings you were going to suck up and enjoy with each sip. The milk tea was a perfect balance of strong tea with the perfect milky consistency that you'd expect from CoCo. The fixed sugar wasn't horrible. I'm guessing that it was at 25%, which I was fine with for someone who generally cuts out the sugar. Frankly, I was stuffed eating dinner and having this Canada Day drink with a built-in meal. I loved it all! I liked visiting this store. I hope to do it again when I'm back. It was great dropping by after rush hour and parking for free as if I was getting away with murder. (281)

I'm pretty sure they started out as a ghost kitchen business only taking orders from Doordash and Fantuan (neither of which I use) but then I saw them pop up on UberEats so I decided to give them a try. When I went for pickup, I asked if you can also order in-store and the girl working there said "yes." I also asked her if they plan to be a regular bubble tea shop with seating and all, and she said "eventually." This is great! I guess they are just slowly ramping up business. I got the Strawberry Trupioca ($8.35) which only comes in large, and is strawberry puree on top of milk with "trupioca" which is their version of agar bubbles. I ordered no sugar, but the drink was still really sweet, lol. I still liked it though. The puree is made of real strawberries. The trupioca were light and springy and popped a bit in my mouth. Agar bubbles are my favourite topping so I really liked it. I just wish they gave me more, haha. Pickup was quick and efficient. It's in a converted old house and is where Bite This used to be and before that, Kelly's Liquidation. I love that Westboro is getting more bubble tea shops. Street parking only, which is a pain in the area, especially in the winter with snowbanks everywhere.

She said it was called Deluxe Purple Yam drink or something like that. It was so tasty. The drink was creamy and thick. It had real taro paste and the tapioca was soft and chewy, but not enough tapioca, haha. The second time she got me a Taro milk tea with sweet purple rice. I loved the generous amount of real taro. The rice was interesting in the drink, I liked it. The milk tea was creamy. These were better than the bubble tea I can get in Orleans, haha. But at least I can get bubble tea in Orleans now, when I first moved here there were no bubble tea stores here, but that's a different story.

There's also a small public square with some benches outside that will absolutely be useful for busy summer nights. My recommendation is to grab an ice cream sandwich bar from one of the freezers where you line up to order - great textures, fresh flavours, and lots of fun. Easy to split with a loved one! Prices are a bit high, but Moo Shu sources local ingredients (with the names of local farms on the flavour signs!), and pays employees a livable wage. It's a great place to stop by and support, while trying a delicious new flavour. Their new location is absolutely a step up :)

It really pains me to write a partially negative review of a really cool place like Moo Shu Ice…read moreCream & Kitchen, but if a flavor is inedible, that's a pretty big deal. I showed up around 9:00 on a random Tuesday and the place was impressively packed. The line was snaking out the door but it moved quickly. I've always been a huge fan of French Onion Soup, so when I saw a flavor called French Onion Scoop, I obviously had to get it. It's not good. The quality of the ice cream itself is top-notch (i.e. it's super creamy) but the flavor is just kind of gross. Plus there's a lot of sautéed onion in there and I think there's a reason onion and ice cream have never been combined before. I ate some of my cup but wound up throwing most of it away. To paraphrase Jeff Goldblum in Jurassic Park, Moo Shu was so preoccupied with whether or not they could make a French Onion Soup inspired ice cream flavor, they didn't stop to think if they should. (I should note I also tried a couple bites of their DunkaMoo's ice cream sandwich and it was really delicious, so obviously they are capable of making an excellent product.)
